The process of getting into the house could not have been easier thanks to clear communication from the host. The house and property are very quiet which made staying here feel like a true vacation. Once inside, we all loved the unique architecture of the Circle House. The primary bedroom is a great size, and the loft space with two other beds was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were well stocked and, like the rest of the house, very clean. There was a nice big fridge and freezer for us to store what we needed. The location of the house was amazing, as we were in the area to golf at both Lawsonia and Mascoutin. Each were a quick, easy trip from the Circle House. We also spent time in downtown Green Lake, another short drive from the house. The Circle House was a perfect base for us. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely be looking to stay at the Circle House again!"

Games, books, whiffelball field, volley ball net badminton, basketball hoop and inflatable items will be available. Brand new bluetooth speakers and high speed internet are also at the residence.

Custom built 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home on Green Lake. Enjoy the open concept with beautiful lake views. Adorable town is near by with plenty to do.

We are on the Green Lake waterway, but currently are not equipped with boat access. We will be removing/replacing the pier shown in the pictures.

While we expect good fishing and beautiful views, our frontage is weedy and doesn’t make for good swimming. There is a beach in town just a short drive from the house and if you have a boat Norwegian Bay is a popular place to anchor and swim or hangout in shallow water.

Don’t forget to stop by VINES & RUSHES to sample local wines, delicious wood-fired pizza, and live music.

AMISH COUNTRY: Take a trip to the Amish communities of Dalton and Kingston to shop for produce, potted plants, and handcrafted wood items. Stop in at OVEN FRESH BAKERY to try an array of fresh bread varieties, hand pies, and the world's best doughnuts. The house also affords easy access to the town of Green Lake restaurants and shopping, and is also a convenient short drive to Lawsonia and Tuscumbia Country Club for the golf enthusiasts in the group. The kitchen is equipped with newer stainless appliances, for the aspiring chef. All the necessities such as towels, dishes, utensils, sheets, blankets, etc. are all included, so just arrive, relax, and enjoy!

- "The house is located at a wonderful spot right on Green Lake. Walk out the back door and right down to the pier on the dock for fun fishing for the kids. Two large family rooms with TVs that allow some separation from each other if desired. The kitchen is very small, but we don't go to the lake to spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen, so that was not a huge issue for us. The beds are comfortable and the entire house was very clean. We would definitely look into renting this house for a future trip to Green Lake."

This newly available charming lakefront home and renovated guest cottage is conveniently located just minutes away from the Tuscumbia golf course and downtown Green Lake, which offers 18 holes as well as a par 3 9-hole course in the summer, and snowshoeing in the winter.

The main house features over 100’ of private lakefront, a custom stone fireplace and built-in charcoal barbecue grill. The screened porch, with its two large garage style glass doors, offers the perfect spot for enjoying the beautiful views of Green Lake during summer and fall months.

All three bedrooms in the main house include queen beds, with one of the bedrooms also housing a twin xl bed. There are two full baths in the main house – one with a farmhouse classic clawfoot cast iron tub and one with a shower. Additionally, two of the bedrooms include a privacy sink in the room for guests. On the main floor, the family room includes a stone hearth fireplace, smart TV and a bevy of classic and new board games. The kitchen is well appointed with serving dishes, flatware, pots and pans, and small appliances. The main house includes usage of the washer and dryer.

The recently renovated guest cottage includes three bedrooms and a full bath with shower, a kitchen – with stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer, a Green Egg for grilling, and a screened porch with views of the property’s English garden as well as Green Lake. The guest cottage is also fully air-conditioned.

The 100’+ of waterfront property includes a private pier with a swimming ladder during the summer months, beautiful views of the changing leaves in the fall, and easy access to the lake in the winter for ice fishing or iceboating. The large lawn space is the perfect place to play a game of cornhole or throw the frisbee, or build a snow fort and snowman during the winter.

During the summer the main house has air conditioning on the second floor for the bedrooms and vents that provide air conditioning to the family room and dining room. The kitchen does not have air conditioning. There are fans in all of the bedrooms as well as the kitchen that provide a nice summer breeze from the lake.

GREEN LAKE
Downtown Green Lake is just 1.5 miles from the property, which makes for a lovely walk, or you can take the property’s tandem bicycle! Enjoy the Farmer’s Market on Friday afternoons, yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or some craft beers and local wines at the Town Square Tap. You’ll find several adorable boutiques in downtown Green Lake as well as the Thrasher Opera House, which hosts theatre and artist performances throughout the year. If you enjoy golfing, Tuscumbia Golf Course is just steps away from the property, and Lawsonia Golf Course (ranked #66 in the U.S. by Golf Week) is also conveniently located in Green Lake.

FALL IN GREEN LAKE

WINTER IN GREEN LAKE
In the winter, Green Lake is a popular location for ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. In fact, there are over 150 miles of maintained scenic trails for snowmobiling - from woods, meadows, marsh, & fields! You can also find miles of cross country ski and snowshoe trails at the Green Lake Conference Center and the Heidl House. Nordic Mountain is just 45 minutes from the property and Granite Peak Ski Area is under two hours. If you would like to ice skate, Green Lake is the place for you! The marina is transformed into an ice skating area during the winter! There is even a warming hut and skates you can borrow if you would like.

DINING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
You’ll find a wide variety of dining options available during your stay. Green Lake’s beloved waterfront restaurant Norton’s, newly opened Mexican-themed Murphy’s, Walk the Dog - a hot dog themed to go spot, Goose Blind, Reilly’s Pub, and student entrepreneur launched Bucket Wings are just a few of the options to choose from. There are several marinas in Green Lake that offer watercraft rentals, or you and your guests can charter a boat for a sunset cruise. Nearby, Princeton is home to several antique shops, an eclectic coffee shop, a European style bakery, and Horseradish, a delicious modern dining spot. The town of Ripon is also a short drive away and houses the Little White Schoolhouse – a National Historic Landmark, several boutiques, a movie theatre and a local favorite brewery.

The Main House, a Victorian Queen Anne home features 3 bedroom suites each with its own private bath and built in 4 corner poster beds, televisions and ceiling fans. The two upstairs bedrooms have their own balconies overlooking the lake views from bedrooms and bathrooms. One features a fireplace, extra single bed and Jacuzzi tub. The downstairs bedroom has an air conditioner and is split level with mahogany wood cathedral ceilings over the bed with a fireplace with seating area and Belgium tapestry on the walls. The living room overlooks the lake and has a fireplace and historic American Indian paintings, formal dining room with attached eating porch and second living room with piano, all have lake views. Kitchen has gas stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, etc. There's an entry and oversized brick patio. Basement has a laundry room. Sleeps 9 and includes linens.

- "We had such a great time during our stay. The lake is so big and we even got to see a few sail boats which was so cool to see. The house is very historic but decently clean. We had a few little buggies but just vacuum them up and enjoyed our stay. We had lunch at the shark shak highly recommend. A beautiful home right alongside the historic Tuscumbia Golf Course. There are 7 x bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a large open space perfect for hosting large gatherings. In addition to a well-appointed kitchen, the home includes a separate kitchenette used as a coffee bar and wet bar area. Additionally, you will find a billiards area, an arcade room, and a massive dining area. The entire home is wheelchair accessible.

The home boasts 7 bedrooms totaling 12 beds as well as 4.5 bathrooms that can accommodate groups of up to 16. All of the bedrooms have a tv in addition to the 75" TV in the living room space and the 65" TV in the billiards area.

The arcade room is set up with both kids and adults in mind - in addition to the arcade style games there is a game table and a separate desk.

One afternoon was rainy, the kids were able to play downstairs, ping-pong and the games. The washer and dryer allowed us to dry our towels and swim suits plus wash kids clothes. The house is clean, modern and roomy. It’s definitely a place to come back to." - "We brought our teenage children and their three friends to Green lake at the end of July. This home is comfortable, gracious, and perfect for a group at the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed, The screened-in porch is incredible, and the extra games and ping-pong table in the basement were fun. Our only problem was that the boat dock was not available the week we rented. But Action Marina graciously let us dock our rented boat at their pier, which was a short two minute drive away. We will definitely try to return to this property, and hope the boat dock will be available next time."

The lower level features a large comfortable gaming area with a pool table along with another two spacious bedrooms. One bedroom with 2 twins and 1 full while the other is another large queen suite with a spacious custom bath.

Large sliding doors take you out of the home down to the charming stone patio overlooking the 50 feet of waterfront. NOTE: the property is located in a small bay on the southeast shore of Green Lake and is known to be extremely shallow at times depending on the weather. While pontoon boats are ok, boats with large drafts are not recommended. Swimming further out away from the pier in the bay opening is best though many renters float on personal rafts dockside.

- "We got there early so we walked around the lake house to see the outside as well as look at the dock. There was a lot of over growth and the area in front needed to be cleaned up more. The house is quite outdated but had a lot of character. The main issues were that the house was not cleaned properly and there were dean bugs all over the house. My son was going to sleep on the sofa bed and when he unfolded it, there were bugs inside. We could not see what they were or if they were alive or dead. The carpet on all of the rooms on the first floor were very dirty. There was a big black spot on the carpet in front of the bed in the min bedroom. If coming with a big family don’t bring much food since the fridge and stove are small but doable.the house had a very bad musty smell like mold that you could smell in all of the rooms. I love using Vacasa but will never rent this property again. This will be a big issue for anyone staying there irlf it doesn’t get fixed. Very out dated the house needs a good cleaning and revamping. You can also low quality repairs done to the property. Windows were damaged also. I work for a travel wholesaler and would not ever recommend this property."

Stay in a well maintained 4 bedroom, 3 bath house outside of Ripon. Be close to great restaurants in Ripon without the crowds of EAA. Just a short time to EAA with less traffic! We are willing to add air mattresses to accommodate more guests if needed.

The space
We are a black and white couple that has visited 50 countries.

Many guests visit our area's natural food producers to organize for their year's supply of meat to be delivered to their home. Pastured bison, beef, pigs, lamb are all within twenty minutes of our house, along with farmer's markets and CSAs.

Our house decor reflects our travel, as does our cooking. If you love ethnic foods from around the world, we can talk about cooking or teach you some of our favorite dishes: Nepalese dhal bhat, Indian idlis and sambar, Vietnamese pho, Malaysian laksa, and Trinidadian curry crab and dumplings are some examples.

Beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin's deepest lake that is uniquely home to both a cold water and a warm water fishery, is six miles down the road. Boat rental and jet ski rental is available from several resorts, as well as fishing guides. We have a canoe you are free to use. In the winter, we have nicely groomed cross-country ski trials and snow shoeing opportunities within minutes of the house. When snow is not on the ground, we have bike trails that radiate for miles and country roads which are also pleasant to bike on. Ripon is a beautiful historic town (birthplace of the Republican Party - Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president) with a well-preserved downtown, tasty eateries, and a 150-year old college, all within four blocks from our home. Oshkosh, known as Wisconsin's City of Events, is 18 miles down the road, and, among other events, hosts the Experimental Aircraft Association gathering, the largest of its kind in the world, every summer for ten days. A must-visit restaurant named J's Barbeque lies four blocks away in the historic downtown. A night out here in Ripon is quite affordable.
