Private, secluded, spacious home on a ridge line with gorgeous views of the Wind River mountains, fishing on the Popo Agie River, and abundant wildlife--only 10 minutes to downtown Lander and close to so many activities and attractions in WY! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths in the main house, with an additional bathroom in the garage office (available seasonally from mid-May through September), master suite, 2 living areas, modern kitchen, large wrap-around deck, basement that includes game room and theater system. It's REALLY more than just OK in our home in Lander, Wyoming!

Our home has almost 3,000 square feet of living space, with over 2,000 additional square feet of wrap-around decks. The main house has 3 bedrooms (master suite with fireplace, sitting area, walk-in closet and master bathroom with shower, jetted tub, and dual vanities), 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom, both with a queen bed. 1 bedroom has a queen bed and a full size futon, as well as a walk-in closet. Kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances, including 2 ovens, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Kitchen is well stocked for 12 people. Living area has luxurious leather furniture (recliners with USB charging access) and a large 65" TV with satellite, ROKU and DVD access. Family room also has a fireplace and leather furniture that is open to the dining area and kitchen. Kitchen is also equipped with a small TV and satellite access. The dining area seats 6 comfortably at the table (with additional leaves for the table to seat 6 more with folding chairs). 4 bar stools are available at the kitchen bar.

The basement is 60% finished with a large game room and theater system. This space can also accommodate additional guests ($25.00 additional per guest over 6) with air mattresses and/or cots. The house is equipped with 1 queen and 1 twin air mattress.

You will enjoy all kinds of wildlife in the surrounding 8 acres. 9 guests can stay comfortably in the main house without the use of cots and/or air mattresses. (Guest totals over 6 do incur an additional $25.00 per person per night charge.) Additional guests can have a private space, with bathroom, in the garage office that has a queen size bed in the main area. Cots and/or air mattresses may also be utilized in this private space, if desired. (NOTE: The garage office and bathroom are unavailable during the months of October until mid-May to avoid pipe breakages due to the extreme cold temperatures in Wyoming.) Please no large parties or events.

Ample parking is available. Outdoors you will find rustic seating around the fire pit. There is an outdoor swing to enjoy the scenery, high-end patio furniture on the deck, and a built-in horseshoe area to enjoy as well. Don't forget the expansive stairway that leads to the river! Enjoy the view from the decks as well as from river!

The house is equipped with a working security system, and cameras (non-working from a previous security system) are installed in the basement and garage office. Outside cameras/floodlights are installed with the security system.

No pets or smoking please. Also, we will provide wood for the fire pit, but please do not start fires in the wood stove.

There is an electric fence on the river-side of the property. Please be aware that you will receive a shock if you touch the fence.

This is a Montgomery Wards kit home that was brought in by train. It is located on one of the oldest streets in town. You are 3 blocks from Main Street and only 5 from our beautiful city park were the popoagie river runs. This home is 3 levels with lots of stairs. On the top floor there are two bedrooms king size bed and a queen size bed with one full bath and a 1/2 bath. 4 can sleep on this level. The main level has 1 bedroom with a pull out couch. This is a full size and 2 people can sleep on this level. There is a 1/2 bath also. The basement has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. There is also a Day bed off of the living room which can sleep 1. The basement sleeps 3. This house has beds for 9 total. The kitchen table has 8 chairs. And there are two living rooms. The basement living room has a surround sound for movie viewing. Nice large yard with a bbq grill and a 6 person hot tub. At times the wild life is in or around the yard.

This single family home offers two bedrooms, one bath, a full kitchen, and a laundry room, all of which are fully furnished, along with ample parking accessed from the alley. Besides being highly efficient, this home does not require air conditioning in the summer since it stays plenty cool.

His apartment was fully stocked with anything I could need, the desk set up and extremely comfy office chair in the extra bedroom were greatly appreciated, and he was very responsive on the rare occasion I needed anything. The location in town was perfect; easy walking distance to several good restaurants and bars. I felt very safe as a single female staying there. The overall location of Riverton is ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors...I spent weekends in the bighorns, the winds, the beartooths, the tetons, yellowstone, sinks canyon...there is no shortage of outdoor stuff to do in a 2-3 hour radius! The only thing I'd note is that the listing (currently) advertises a queen size bed in the primary bedroom when it's actually a double/full sized bed. The queen size bed is the bottom half of the bunk bed in the non-primary bedroom. The primary bedroom has a dresser and window AC unit, whereas the non-primary has a nice desk and chair, which I used as my office."

This is a fully furnished three bedroom apartment. It is on the ground level and it has a little patio to go with it. It also has a barbecue grill that is available for your use. There are four beds two twins one queen and one king size it is in a handy location, easy access to the schools the Hot Springs and the hospital. There are lots of churches in Thermopolis and several museums to visit .Handy location for visiting Yellowstone or Cody. Blue ribbon trout fishing is close by.

Here are a few taxi services available in town but most people just drive their own car or ride their bike . Walking is also an option. There is a local bus available to go between close towns.

The studio apartment is located in a cement block building that at one time was an Auto Mechanics Shop. It is one block off of Main Street. In close proximity to Catholic College, NOLS, and all downtown restaurants and bars. There is one room with one plush queen sized bed, couch (with hideaway bed), television with internet access, Wi-Fi for guest use. The kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar and bar stools. There is a walk-in closet and a bathroom with shower off of the large room.

The studio apartment is for your use. There will be a door separating the studio from a garage and backyard parking area. The backyard will be used by owners during events such as 4th of July and Lander Live. The guests are always welcome to join in the gatherings, if they'd like too.

We get regular stunning sunrises and sunsets with the Wind River Mountains in the background. Our ranch features a variety of farm animals, including 3 horses, two friendly dogs, ten chickens and occasionally two cows, deer and pheasants. The ranch is kept very organized and tidy.

In general, feel free to walk and explore our property. We have chickens in the chicken coop close by the apartment and three horses on the pasture that you can visit. Make sure you close any open gates immediately after you enter or leave. You may walk anywhere on the pasture, maybe have a picnic. There is a small stream by the tall trees on the pasture and you can cross on a bridge located towards the left which leads to the other side. The kids are welcome to play on the swing set. Please avoid the barn, as there is a tractor and other possibly hazardous equipment. The garage next to the apartment is also off limits.

You are more than welcome to walk the property. Once you enter our property you will see our large pasture on the left side of the driveway. Please remember to close any gates that you go through as we have three horses in the pasture; Slick (pony/foxtrotter), Little Foot (red), Rambo (black) and Maui the white horse. They are friendly, however, approach at your own risk and never from behind. They usually will come, if you whistle.

There are often whitetail deer in the trees across the stream, where there is a culvert to access the back pasture. Keep an eye out for pheasants and sandhill cranes as well. Let us know, if you need anything or have any questions.

I've made your "Room at The Little Lander Lodge" as cozy as can be...from the made-in-WY log bed, to the living room decorated w/antique lodge decor & ample comfy seating...an electric fireplace that kicks out toasty heat, and a 72" Roku TV w/streaming services. Your bedroom, bathroom & living room are private to you.
You share the following spaces: kitchen, laundry, sauna. NOTE: I have 2 English Setters & 3 cats. They love people & can snuggle in the living room w/you, but not your bedroom.

The space
Your "Room at The Little Lander Lodge" is within a modest, cozy, and very clean house just a couple blocks from downtown Lander and a few miles from Sinks Canyon.
You will have full access to the house, but the downstairs is where your "Room at The Little Lander Lodge" is set up. The Lodge includes: your bedroom, living room and bathroom. Those rooms are PRIVATE to you.
The washer, dryer and sauna are downstairs. The kitchen is upstairs...those you share with me and possibly guests who are staying upstairs in The Room at The Little Lander Inn (<<
It is cute, it is clean and cozy —and I designed it to be affordable. That said, PLEASE keep in mind that the Room at The Little Lander Inn offers what it is: a place for those who really need just a simple place to chill and sleep (and shower) while in Lander...complete with pets to snuggle ;-) ~ Yes, you are welcome to the kitchen and the living room, just keep in mind both are shared with me :-)

WHAT IS/IS NOT PROVIDED for your stay:

a. clean, organic bedding and towels; robes are in the room if you wish to use them (they are clean, but not organic)
b. coffee that I brew in the early a.m. (around 5 a.m.) and then put into a carafe to keep it warm (not provided: sweeteners and/or creamers)
c. small selection of tea bags
d. shampoo and conditioner (not provided: soap, body wash, lotions, etc.)
e. access to kitchen includes: glasses, mugs, dishes, silverware
f. Wi-Fi

Again, my goal was to keep the Room at The Little Lander Lodge affordable, and everything I do effects the cost. ...if you need toiletries beyond toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, if you need snacks/groceries, etc., please bring those as I do not provide them (sorry!). The middle shelf of the fridge is cleared for you.

Guest access
You will have access to your bedroom, the kitchen, downstairs bathroom and downstairs laundry and sauna. I kindly ask that you DO NOT enter other rooms as those are private and/or for other guests.

The entrance is the front door. You will park on the road in front of the house. IN THE WINTER: PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I SHOVEL AND SALT, THERE IS LIKELY ICE ON THE DRIVEWAY, SIDE WALK AND SMALL FRONT PORCH. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND WATCH YOUR STEP!!!! I will coordinate with you so that you have a key (I'm working on getting a keypad, but I'm bad at installing things, so I'm waiting on a handyman to help me. :-))

GUEST COUNT:
ALL guests must be registered with Airbnb. This property is for registered guests only (no furry guests, sorry), and the max occupancy is 3.

SORRY TO SAY:
I'm sorry to need to write this but after a few tough experiences, I need to write: NO PARTIES!!! I am an easy going person but after a few bad experiences, I have to say: NO PARTIES AND no one besides REGISTERED guests are allowed on the premises. ~ This listing is a VERY comfy room to rent but NOT a place to have a party. If you want to rent an airbnb to have a party, there are plenty in town to rent. IF YOU ARE NOT 21, DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL ONTO THE PROPERTY --I WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE. UGH, I hate to even have to say those things, but it has become necessary.
THE GOOD NEWS: If you're looking to be a guest who respects a chill, clean, easy going room to rent that is run by a respectful/professional/kind human and provided at a budget friendly rate, this is for you...ONLY IF you want to be a guest who is respectful and chill yourself. If you want a place to have a party, this is NOT the place for you.

Other things to note
I am a working professional who lives a very active and outdoorsy life that is centered around: making your stay wonderful, making my pets happy, and taking care to be a good friend and community member.

PETS: I have two amazing rescued English Setters and three sweet rescued cats. They will be happy to snuggle with you on the couch in your living room and/or I can block them off from your space. THEY ARE NOT allowed in your bedroom because I like to keep that room free of pet fur for those guests who might have slight allergies.

A cute little cottage reminiscent of a bygone era with all the modern conveniences. The property is surrounded by a natural privacy fence of lilacs and boasts two decks and a patio area perfect for entertaining or just sitting outside and enjoying nature. The house has an eat-in kitchen with a separate laundry area and a dedicated office that can be used for a third bedroom upon request. Located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown and multiple restaurants.

The space
The property is located on a quiet corner two blocks off mainstreet within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants. The house boasts two bedrooms with Queen-sized beds and a third that can be used either as a bed room or an office at your discretion. There is a fully stocked kitchen with everything from cookie sheets and frying pans to ice cream sundae cups and wine glasses. All you'll need is food. Relax in homey comfort or explore the nearby bike path that leads to a delightful walk along the Wind River where you might see fox, osprey, bald eagles, geese, ducks, sandhill cranes, deer, otters, muskrats and even an occasional moose.

The entire property is yours to enjoy including two decks, a patio, and a yard. There is off street parking included.

A block south of Main Street, this space offers a cozy experience for visitors to Lander. This private, second story studio apartment is the perfect base for exploring town or relaxing in comfort. Located just a block from Mr. D’s grocery store, two blocks from Main Street’s shops and restaurants and across the street from Pushroot Brewing Company, you’ll have walkable access to everything you need!

Kick off your morning with a cup of coffee on the front porch, then cozy up with a book in the reading nook. If you need to get a little work done or jump on a call, there’s a sit/stand desk in the office space and solid Wi-Fi throughout the place. Get outside for one of the many adventures Lander has to offer, then come back and relax with a drink on the front porch or the garden patio. Fire up the grill or fire pit and relax after your day—big or small.

Guests can park in the driveway, in the right most parking spot. You'll access the apartment via a single flight of outdoor patio stairs on the side of our house.

Located in one of Lander's original buildings, built in 1886, this space features original trim, hardwood floors, tall ceilings, & huge windows balanced by a modern kitchen & bath, and eclectic decor. Enjoy the light-filled space or close the room-darkening curtains to sleep in. You will be within walking distance of fabulous restaurants, art galleries & shops. This is a 2nd story space accessible by stairs.

Urban Homestead is located on the 2nd floor of a two story building and is accessible only by stairs. The stairwell is very wide with two flights broken up by a landing with chairs. The door to the stairwell is locked and accessible by code. The entry alcove and stairwell are well lit for safe entry after dark. The main entry and stairwell is shared with one other apartment that is also listed on Airbnb.

Stay in the heart of downtown Lander and discover all Lander has to offer! This studio is located on the second floor of one of Lander's original buildings - built in 1886. The building is now the anchor for the Lander Art District. You’ll be within walking distance to many great local shops, art galleries and restaurants. Or a quick 20 minute drive to Sinks Canyon State Park and a beautiful 3-hour drive to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone.

Studio Homestead is a fun and sun-filled space in one of Lander's original buildings. The charm of original hardwood floors and woodwork compliment the modern & colorful decor. The high ceilings create a spacious feel while the tall windows let in ample light and allow for great views of Lander's beautiful sunrises. Each window is outfitted with room-darkening curtains for savoring those last moments of slumber.
