Come relax at our 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse on King Street within walking distance to several restaurants and stores. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen & washer/dryer unit on the main floor. Relax on the back patio with the propane fire pit or in one of the four beautiful bedrooms in this 3-story townhome.

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. We are pet friendly and kid friendly with amenities to make your life easier! Bed linens and towels come with the unit and there is laundry on site in case you need to wash something while you are visiting. This townhouse is private, 3 full floors for you and your family or friends.

The main floor of the townhouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven/stove & microwave. There is a Keurig, as well as a regular coffee pot, cookware and basic kitchen utensils. The downstairs 1/2 bath located off the kitchen has a stand up washer dryer unit, a toilet and sink. The dining room which is located just off the kitchen seats 6-8 people comfortably around the large farmhouse table with additional pull out leaves if needed. The living room at the front of the townhouse has a L-shaped couch and TV for comfy nights and extra lounging space.

On the second floor you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The back bedroom has a queen sized bed and a dresser. The middle bedroom has a double (full) sized bed and dresser. The front bedroom has a king sized bed and dresser as well as small seating area by the window. Each bedroom has a TV and closet space. The bathroom has a regular sized bathtub and shower setup, a toilet and a sink.

On the third floor you will find a large seating area with TV and couch, and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and dresser.

The backyard is fully fenced with a 6ft privacy fence and 6-unit parking space at the rear of the fenced yard. There is a patio with outdoor furniture and a propane firepit. You will also find a small sitting space on both the front and side porch area of the townhouse. Each porch is railed and semi-private.

If you are looking for a quaint and relaxing getaway, then the Old Homestead is the perfect spot. Located between Shippensburg/Carlisle areas, there is so much to see and do within driving distance. History enthusiast...you have so many places to choose from. Maybe wine is more to your liking...it's a matter of which winery do I choose first. Enjoy hiking...then nearby Michaux State Forest is the perfect place to go or the Cumberland Rails to Trails. Perhaps you prefer to just relax and enjoy dinner on the deck or sit around a firepit and enjoy the evening. Whatever your preference, be sure to enjoy your "home away from home."

The first floor has a large great room with a propane fireplace, two-story windows, a large dining table with seating for 8 (plus folding chairs in the closet), a well-stocked kitchen, and a kitchen island with three barstools. There is also a laundry room, a full bathroom with tub, and two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with two full (double) beds.

The second floor has a small loft area with a desk overlooking the great room and front yard, a large comfortable chair, and a futon with available sheets and pillows. The loft opens into a large bedroom with a king bed, comfortable chair, small desk, and a full bathroom. There is a twin rollaway bed in the closet and an additional twin mattress available for extra sleepers in the bedroom or loft.

There is a 4th bedroom in the basement with a queen bed and an individual heater.

The walkout basement has a ping pong table and lots of seating, including a queen sofa bed with sheets, blankets, and pillows available.

The TV in the basement has a DVD player and a Chromecast device. We do not provide cable or streaming services, but you'll be able to watch shows via your own cable and streaming services through our Chromecast device from Cast-enabled apps on mobile devices or from the Chrome internet browser on your computer. Outside there is a large flat yard, a fire pit under the trees and a 15’x23’above-ground pool and attached deck. The house has a wrap-around deck on three sides, partially screened in. The front deck is great for star-gazing!

- "The location of the house is very convenient for the area. It is just seconds off of a main highway and easy to get to. We were in town for a large event in Carlisle and it was an easy drive from the city. From the outside, the house looks kind of small, but don’t let the looks deceive you. The inside is very spacious and VERY clean. The kitchen is a nice size and the open concept with the dining room makes it a nice gathering spot when the weather outside isn’t cooperating. When the weather is nice, the large deck makes for a wonderful place to sit and relax in the evenings. It over looks the small sheep enclosure behind the house and endless fields of farm land that extend past the house. Even though it is close to a main road, you barely notice it. Mainly you’ll hear sounds of birds, sheep and the occasional hoof beats from a passing horse. My group really enjoyed being able to sit outside and talk after a long day at the show field. We had zero issues with the house, so there was never a need to contact anyone, but they made sure I had all the information incase the need were to arise. All in all, this property was perfect for our little group. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to booking this property again in the future."

Located in the country, this home provides a view of gently rolling hills along with mountains on either side, off in the distance. You will often hear the clopping of hooves as horse and buggies pass by on the road. About this listing

A rustic, romantic & modern, smoke-free tiny house cabin with sleeping loft, WiFi, HDTV & small pantry and kitchen. Sleeps 2 in the loft, & 2 in the sleeper sofa. You're just about roughin' it here, but with most modern amenities, but don't forget a tiny home!

Primitive means we do have running water on site, with electric and WiFi, we give you the cleanest bathroom port-a-john and shower hut for your use & lots of bottled water, water for hand washing, cooking & shower hut!

The space

Our tiny home cabin is small but packed with lots of modern amenities. Located on 17.5+ acres of private campground property & boarding state game lands, and the Appalachian Trail makes our location very unique. We are just a few miles from Fuller & Laurel Lake, & Long Pine Run Reservoir for kayaking and fishing.

Camping is fantastic at this location with a fire pit close by, picnic table, and outside grill with many open acres for your activities. Our cabin is located at the campground, so some action is to be expected on the property with close neighbors.

Our cabin includes a small pantry, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven & outside propane grill. HDTV & basic Wifi internet included.

Our sleeping areas include 1 queen memory foam mattress in loft area & 1 sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 people. Linen is provided only for the loft area.

Please note, there is no running water inside the cabin. We have a water source outside, include some bottled water for drinking, cooking, coffee, etc too. You are encouraged to bring your own water. The bathroom is a port-a-potty that is cleaned before your stay, and the shower is an outside camping shower that is not always warm. This is a primitive cabin, so if these features may scare you and you can't get away from modern day amenities, I would look for a hotel instead.

Cabin guests are able to access the entire campground, any weekend events at the campground & utalize the area around the cabin.

Interaction with guests

I am always on Airbnb or mobile and can respond to any questions quickly, but don't expect me to say in this cabin with you. On occasion, I may be in a tent or hammock on the weekends camping too, but usually, I'm just 10 miles away from cabin location. You will be provided with a special key code for entrance to my cabin, and your stay is private and alone. Want recommendations? Me too cook your the best steak ever? Or to hang out and drink a beer or two? Just ask, I will be glad to join you to show you a good time.

Other things to note

Cleaning Fee: We charge a 25$ cleaning fee for the cabin rental for your entire stay.

Pets: You must inform me of the booking, your pet name, type, and breed. We do charge an additional $25 pet cleaning fee which is additional to the standard cleaning fee. This is due to us having to provide additional cleaning duties after your check out like;

1) Remove all bedding, including bedspreads, etc and have them cleaned.
2) Clean the carpets to remove any pet dander that might be a cause for allergic reaction in others.
3) Clean all the upholstered furniture in the same manner for the same reason.

Please understand, the cleaning fees are a bit high if you have a pet too. An additional $50 actually. Sometimes this fee may not be justifiable if staying for 1 night. Please do understand this fee is to better serve you and future guests.

Claire House is a newly renovated home on the banks of Middle Spring Creek. Its restored open porch and balcony over look the cool spring waters as they meander past the property and under the wooden foot bridge. The Great Blue Heron keeps a close eye on the stocked trout stream and the nearby anglers. Shippensburg University and the Luhrs Center are less than 2 miles away as are as are numerous eateries and shopping experiences.

Child Friendly

This home was built in an English Tudor Style by a well known engineer in the 70's.The house was going to be torn down, but we bought it and restored it to its glory days.
We spent 1 year working, removing old wall paper, painting the entire house. After Installing new heating and air conditioning the house became a very comfortable home.

The room has a private entrance into your room with a private bathroom and shower.Also a lower room for relaxation and wifi.
A continental breakfast is included in the private kitchenette.
The room is decorated with photos around the world.

The space
The guest house is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood within close proximity to downtown and Shippensburg University. Guests are provided with off-street parking and a private entrance to their one-bedroom suite, which includes complimentary coffee, snacks, bottled water, as well as a microwave and refrigerator for convenience. The suite is equipped with Wi-Fi access, television, comfortable sitting areas, and a spacious, luxurious bathroom. All towels and linens are supplied for your stay. Your bed is queen size.

Please note: unfortunately, this space is not wheelchair accessible and does have several steps (see picture) to the space.

Pets- Recognizing the importance of your furry family and the need to sometimes travel with them, we welcome small to medium-sized dogs (preferably under 20 lbs) for an additional fee.

Outdoors- You have access to extensive yard space, including private areas for walking dogs, enjoying outdoor activities, or relaxing by a fire. Additionally, grills—both propane and charcoal—are available on the side of the guest house should you wish to prepare meals outdoors.

You also have access to the path to the private backyard areas (between the trees) where you will find more grass for your furry family and a fire pit. Feel free to use the wood for a fire. This is your private area. Unless of urgent matters, no one will bother you.

Welcome to your new home away from home! You will enjoy this tastefully decorated apartment with lots of space to spread out and relax! This is a first-level, two-bedroom apartment in a building with six total flats. Easy access to Shippensburg if you want to go to a restaurant and or the University, and you can also jump on 81 and be in Chambersburg in a few minutes! This apartment has everything you will need to be comfortable while you stay with us for leisure or work.

After entering the apartment, you will walk into a tastefully decorated large living room. The Kitchen is in the back of the apartment with a table that can seat up to 6. The two bedrooms and bathroom are on the other side of the kitchen and living room. Coin-operated Laundry is located on the lower level, One level below the apartment. The desk & chair is located in the second bedroom.

The space
Townhouse on King was built in 1924 and is located on the East end of Shippensburg, PA but still within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The house has retained many of its 100 year old original features like stained glass, art deco style windows, 4- panel, hardwood doors and original hardware, and hardwood trim throughout. But it also has many modern updates like a new kitchen, bathrooms and comfy furniture. Whether you're touring Shippensburg University, vacationing or exploring in South Central PA, travelling for work or just passing through, come stay with us and you won't be disappointed!

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. We are pet friendly and kid friendly with amenities to make your life easier! Bed linens and towels come with the unit and there is laundry on site in case you need to wash something while you are visiting. This townhouse is private, 3 full floors for you and your family or friends.

The main floor of the townhouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven/stove & microwave. There is a Keurig, as well as a regular coffee pot, cookware and basic kitchen utensils. The downstairs 1/2 bath located off the kitchen has a stand up washer dryer unit, a toilet and sink. The dining room which is located just off the kitchen seats 6-8 people comfortably around the large farmhouse table with additional pull out leaves if needed. The living room at the front of the townhouse has a L-shaped couch and TV for comfy nights and extra lounging space.

On the second floor you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The back bedroom has a queen sized bed and a dresser. The middle bedroom has a double (full) bed and dresser. The front bedroom has a king size bed and dresser as well as small seating area by the window. Each bedroom has a TV and closet space. The bathroom has a regular sized bathtub and shower setup, a toilet and a sink.

On the third floor you will find a large seating area with TV and couch, and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and dresser.

The backyard is fully fenced with a 6ft privacy fence and 6-unit parking space at the rear of the fenced yard. There is a patio with outdoor furniture and a propane firepit. You will also find a small sitting space on both the front and side porch area of the townhouse. Each porch is railed and semi-private.

Claire House is a renovated home on the banks of Middle Spring Creek. Its restored open porch and balcony over look the cool spring waters as they meander past the property and under the wooden foot bridge. The Great Blue Heron keeps a close eye on the stocked trout stream and the nearby anglers. Shippensburg University and the Luhrs Center are less than 2 miles away as are as are numerous eateries and shopping experiences.

Other things to note
Just a note on the staircase. If you have mobility issues be aware that this is an older house so the stairs are steep with narrow treads. We do have a safety rail for assisting the climb. All bedrooms are upstairs. although the couch downstairs could be utilized as a bed if uncomfortable making the climb.

The original sun room has been enclosed and furnished with a 43” tv, 2 gaming systems and a large couch to give additional living space. The views from the two large patio doors in the Great Room let you enjoy the pond with out leaving the couch.

The space
Farm-charm at its finest! This farmhouse is the perfect getaway for a large family to enjoy together. The house includes a custom, state of the art kitchen equipped with a Sub-zero refrigerator/freezer and Viking Professional series appliances such as double ovens, warming drawer and range top. Enjoy your meals in the kitchen or the large dining room.
There is plenty of space to spread out in the downstairs lounge area or the sunroom. The sunroom has a table perfect for card games or puzzles, a sleeper sofa to relax on or just steps away from the large outdoor patio, private pool and playground. Take advantage of the full washer and dryer and full bathroom on the first floor. The upstairs features 4 bedrooms, one bedroom including a crib. Each bedroom is equipped with 32" smart tv's. There is one bathroom upstairs with a 2 person jetted tub and shower. The upstairs living room has a 65" smart tv, a leather reclining sectional sofa and a 3 person leather reclining sofa. The farmhouse is very close to Shippensburg University, Parx casino, grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. A short drive to Carlisle fairgrounds, Dickinson College, Chambersburg and Gettysburg.

We want to make all guests aware that this is an active, working dairy farm with cows, machinery and country air. This farm is a renewable energy source, generating electricity for the entire dairy, farmhouse and surrounding community. It also produces heat for the dairy and farmhouse.
