Our studio apartment, also known as a studio flat or efficiency apartment, is a self-contained living space consisting of one single large room that serves as the living, dining, and sleeping area, with a separate, private bathroom adjacent to the kitchen, which is partially separated from the bedroom.
Our studio is 300 square feet. The patio is 175 square feet.

Our studio is ideal for those seeking privacy and tranquility. Relax without the crowds and hassle of hotels. Our sunny first-floor studio features high ceilings, a full kitchen and a cozy ambiance. During warmer months, enjoy a meal sitting under an umbrella in your private, fenced-in, porcelain tile patio. ACCESS TO YOUR STUDIO
*Your first floor studio has no second floor above it, and no basement below it. There are no stairs. From the street where you park, it is a 100-foot walk along a concrete walkway to reach your studio.
*Your space is a completely private studio that is separate from the rest of our home. There is no access to your personal living quarters from the main part of our home. There is only one entrance to your studio through a walkway on the side of the house. The studio, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, large closet and private full bathroom, is in a secluded corner of the property, and the patio in front of the studio is for your personal use only.

SUSTAINABLE ECOFRIENDLY ACCOMODATIONS
Forty solar panels adorn our home's roofs, including some that can be viewed from the front of the property. All of our electrical appliances and outlets fully run from solar energy year-round. Excess kilowatt hours compiled during the summer months are utilized during cooler winter months.

We also encourage recycling and conservation of resources so that energy is not wasted.

Parties are prohibited. Staying overnight guests are not permitted to invite their friends and family to our home.

HOST AVAILABILITY
I give my guests space but am available when needed. Just ask and let me know your needs.

Laundry service for your personal clothing is NOT available on the premises. There are several local laundromats and dry cleaners in the neighborhood. They are listed in the Guest Guide.

Our Mediterranean Dream home sits along a tree-lined street in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Our tranquil community boasts neighbors from diverse backgrounds, many of whom are professionals from varied fields. Like a league of nations, our neighborhood is demographically and ethnically diverse. Children, adults and senior citizens frequently traverse the streets. Consequently, no matter where you're from, you'll feel like you belong in Valley Stream, and, as such, you'll experience travel as if you're a local, not a tourist.

There is plenty of free, safe parking in front of our home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Walk from your car directly onto the tree-lined path that leads to your private Mediterranean oasis.

Walk in and you are amazed by the size of the place. Large living room, dining area and full kitchen. And she welcomes you with bottled water, crackers and organic snacks -perfect after a long trip. Super comfy bed - better than ours at home! Clean, great bath or shower and closet space. The neighborhood is quiet, super safe and within 5-15 minutes there are a lot of varieties of restaurants or fast food. We walked to the UBS arena both ways and the concert didn't end until after 11 PM. Skaria responds to your messages quickly. There are about a dozen steps to this second floor unit but they are well lit and very solid steps There's a nice deck and backyard as well. It's just what we needed after a long flight to LaGuardia. Felt at home right away and had a great 2 night stay. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure."

- "it was a great neighborhood but the listing was different than expected. we rented a 2br, 2ba and assumed it was all in the same place, but the 2nd bed and bath was a whole different entrance of the house and away from the main listing. also there were lots of baby ants in the bathroom and other slightly dirty areas of the place."
