The steps need work and the dock is missing half a step which makes it a bit hazardous for old people but non of that really bothered us. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the items that you'll need for cooking and entertaining. Both bathrooms have a shower-tub combo, along with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer, along with other bathroom amenities. In addition to the inside, the large outdoor porch is screened in with a large sectional, fireplace, gas grill, and large-screen tv. And if you need some peace and quiet from all the fun going on out back, you can always relax on the front porch which has 2 chairs and an end table. The neighborhood also features a communal pool, boat launch, boat docks (first come, first served), trailer storage, and a fitness center.

The house has fiber internet, so you don't have to worry about internet outages, along with key-less entry so no need to worry about bringing a key when you're out enjoying yourself at the lake! We also have fun toys for your little ones to enjoy while visiting, as well as rafts and water toys for the pool/lake.

*Please note, there are a few natural stone steps that lead up to the front porch for those who have accessibility issues. Also, the home is monitored with security cameras outside the front door.

We called the property manager who was very helpful and changed the code for us. Kitchen is tiny so we were all Bumping into each other. Maybe this house is better for 2-4 people. The toilet seat was broken- the property mgr bought another one at my husband’s request and my husband installed it. The a/c stopped working the day we got there and prop mgr got the a/c man to come the next morning who took care of it promptly. The thermostat was VERY VERY confusing - needed instructions to operate- even the repairman had a hard time trying to show me how to work it and kept having to start over to figure it out. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms made a loud noise when turned on, and the chain switch for changing the fan speed didn’t work. Screen door on porch sticks to floor when partially opened. It seems that this house wasn’t thoroughly inspected for all of these things before opening up to guests. It is very cute and quiet but this was just a LOT that was frustrating to have to pay what we did."

Location, Location, Location! This recently updated place is located in a prime spot! You will be only minutes away from Lake Martin, Wetumpka, and Montgomery. Jordan-Hare Stadium at Auburn University is an easy half-hour drive from here! Although it resides outside of city limits, you are conveniently close to many stores and restaurants.

The space
This place has been converted from its original use as a gas station and bait and tackle store to a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite and a king-size bed! A fully equipped kitchen and living room complete the space, making it a peaceful oasis for rest and relaxation. Two TVs with casting capabilities and complimentary Wi-Fi will make you feel right at home. Keyless entry at both entrances will also make your stay super convenient. The highlight of this place is the theater room!! A projector is hooked up to Roku to show your favorite shows and movies on a huge screen. The theater room is finished off with three twin-size loft beds and two bean bag chairs that convert into full-size mattresses! Fun is just waiting to happen!!

The space
Bucksnort, as we've affectionately deemed it, is set back off the road. You have to look real close to see our neighbor's house. We are centrally located enough for convenience, but also offer competitive pricing to compete with Football Game crowds and Lake Martin visitors! We're between Montgomery Airport (MGM) This is a great space for family to convene and visit college students. It is so peaceful to wake up to the birds chirping and to listen to the crickets as the moon comes up.

Guest access
You have access to the whole house, except most of the closets, as we occasionally visit from Florida. The driveway is gated with a combo code. The front door is a wifi pin pad coded entry. You may come and go as you please with no restrictions. The gravel driveway is circular with the ability to get close to the stairs to unload your belongings. Large trucks and trailers have circled the drive.

The space
Welcome to LakeSlide Retreat — a beautifully furnished, luxury cabin at Lake Martin, AL. The spacious 1.3 acre property is filled with towering pines which provide privacy and serene views. The house in Village of Kowaliga Bay was designed for family and friends to spend precious quality time together with plenty of room indoors and outdoors to enjoy.

The Space
This luxury home offers three bedrooms with enough space to sleep 9 guests, making it the perfect option for one to two families, or multiple couples.

Living Area
As you enter the cabin you will be greeted by an open floorplan and everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in this newly constructed home. The living area has plenty of seating options for everyone, including a deep and comfortable couch where you can sit and listen to the Bluetooth record player (with a collection of our favorite vinyl records), have a conversation by the fireplace, watch your favorite movie on TV or choose from one of the many games (adults and kids). There are also plenty of books and toys available for children of all ages.

Kitchen/Dining
The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is extremely well-equipped for whipping up culinary creations and tasty snacks. There’s plenty of counter space for a sous chef or two to help with meal prep, and a pantry means there’s lots of room for your group’s groceries — plus all your favorite treats. In addition to all of the necessities, the fully stocked kitchen also has the cooking appliances you will need including a crock pot, air fryer, instantpot, toaster, Keurig coffee station and more! The outdoor dining table seats nine and is where you’ll enjoy long lunches and delicious dinners together. There’s also a breakfast bar that seats three and is ideal for grabbing a quick bite before heading out for an adventure-packed day.

Bedrooms & Baths
The opulent primary suite ensures a serene sleep in the sumptuous king-size bed with a pillowtop mattress and Egyptian-cotton sheets, you'll never want to leave. The modern bedside reading lights are perfect to relax and enjoy a book in bed. Indulge in the spa-like rain shower and tub in your en suite bathroom. Just down the hall, the half bathroom also features a washer and dryer.

Bedroom #2 can be found upstairs. The bohemian-style queen suite includes a pillow top mattress, Egyptian-cotton sheets and full size desk for guests who wish to work remotely. A modern full bathroom with a rain shower and tub is conveniently located directly outside the room.

Bedroom #3 is across the hall with two sets of bunk beds and a trundle bed (two double beds, three twin beds). This Auburn-themed room is perfect for kids (or kids at heart) who love to have epic sleepovers or stay up late playing arcade games (Pac-Man with twelve games, NFL Blitz).

All bedrooms have smart Roku TVs, ceiling fans and blackout curtains.

A pack-n-play, baby tub and children’s books are located upstairs.

Deck/Porch/Outdoor Space
The cabin features a two-tiered deck with a 9-foot tunnel slide, outdoor sectional couch, rocking chairs, flat top grill, gas firepit, and screened-in dining area (heater/fan) upstairs. The lower deck features porch swings, a dart board, corn hole and yard games as you look out over the creek and lush wooded area. String lights cover both decks at night creating a fun and festive atmosphere day or night.

Community Amenities
The Village at Kowaliga Bay is a family-friendly water access community with access to a clubhouse, zero-entry pool, shared boat slips, a private boat ramp, fitness center, and more! On-site boat and trailer storage is available as well.

Guests can look forward to a seamless check-in via keyless entry. The entry code will be provided ahead of your check-in date.

Other things to note
Air conditioning and WiFi are available throughout the home. There is a doorbell camera facing the property’s driveway for extra security and peace of mind. Two of the bedrooms are accessed via stairs, so the house isn’t wheelchair accessible. A golf cart is available for guests during your stay.

In the off season (Oct-March) the boat ramp and docks may not be boat accessible due to lake levels being lowered.

The space
Enjoy Family Friendly Americana Living at Cabin America on Lake Martin! Brand new 3 Bed/2 Bath House that comfortably sleeps 6 with a king, queen, and two twin beds. All bedrooms have comfortable memory foam mattresses, smart TVs, and storage! There is a separate dining room for eating, as well as comfortable backed stools at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the items that you'll need for cooking and entertaining. The large open-concept living room features a couch, loveseat, and armchair with a large-screen smart TV. There is a separate coffee bar, ice maker, and full-size washer and dryer. Both bathrooms have a shower-tub combo, along with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer, along with other bathroom amenities. In addition to the inside, the large outdoor porch is screened in with a large sectional, fireplace, gas grill, and large-screen tv. And if you need some peace and quiet from all the fun going on out back, you can always relax on the front porch which has 2 chairs and an end table. The neighborhood also features a communal pool, boat launch, boat docks (first come, first served), trailer storage, and a fitness center.

The house has fiber internet, so you don't have to worry about internet outages, along with key-less entry so no need to worry about bringing a key when you're out enjoying yourself at the lake! We also have fun toys for your little ones to enjoy while visiting, as well as rafts and water toys for the pool/lake.

*Please note, there are a few natural stone steps that lead up to the front porch for those who have accessibility issues. Also, the home is monitored with security cameras outside the front door.

**In the off season (Oct-March) we cannot guarantee the use of the boat ramp and common docks due to the lake levels being lowered.**

It's all in the details! This beautiful new construction cabin is perfect for an adventurous getaway! Not only do you have access to all that Lake Martin has to offer, but there are amazing hiking trails nearby such as Wood Duck Trail!

The space
The front porch invites you in while offering a place to sip coffee or cocktails of your choice. Once you are inside this breathtaking beauty, you’ll notice not one ounce of wasted space… from the dining area off of the living area to the cocktail cove that leads out to the screened porch. Three large bedrooms that feature a king, queen, bunks (twin over full), and a twin bed so Twilight can comfortably sleep 8! The fully stocked kitchen means you can whip up gourmet dinners or head out to any of the local places. A screen porch is a perfect place for naps, football games, or catching that quiet time in the morning. There’s space outside to play a game of corn hole, too. Jump on the golf cart and see all of the amenities this neighborhood offers ~ a swimming pool, and fitness room (did we mention these both overlook the lake?) There are common docks (first come, first serve), a boat ramp, and boat storage (you can store your boat trailer here as well) Twilight is located in a highly desired area of the lake. Just mins from all the “Popular” lakefront restaurants (like The Social, Kowaliga Restaurant, Chuck’s Pizza), around the corner from Russell Lands Amphitheater where you can ride the boat to see fireworks on the 4th, and just across the way from the famous Chimney Rock!

A liability waiver is included toward the end of the rental agreement. Be sure to read carefully When signing the rental agreement you are also signing a liability waiver.

Other things to note
The house is 0.4 miles from the lake where the docks and pool are located. While it is walkable, it's probably easier to drive to the docks as there is parking down there.
Guests will have access to the community boat ramp and one of 12 shared docks. The docks are first come first served and there is no guarantee you will have a spot. There is a boat parking area at the entrance of the neighborhood to store your trailer and boat if needed and is only a 5 minute walk from the house.

Our favorite local spots like The Social, Chucks Pizza, Blue Ribbon Dairy are only 10 minutes away.
