Casablanca is only available a few times each summer, it is our family home and we fill it up often.

Casablanca was completed in 1896 and we are the third family to take care of it. In 1961 my parents bought the home and kept the history. Most of the furniture is original and our guests feel like they are stepping back in time.

The home comes compete with everything you will need for a fantastic stay. From satellite TV, WI-FI, full kitchen and grills, lawn games and equipment, fire pit with cut wood, swim rafts and fishing tackle, stand up paddle-boards and kayaks and canoes and sailboats, all set up for your use.

If we don't have it we can arrange for you to get it, whatever you need to make this the greatest vacation, reunion, weddings, parties.

We have lived here for almost 60 years and and look forward to showing you whats so special about Casablanca and The River.

- "This is one of those reviews you sort of hate to write because you don't want everyone to find out about a place that's so special. Yet in fairness to Phil and Nancy, I must. The house, Casa Blanca, is everything in the pictures, and more. It still has the grand feel of the 1800s, but with updated conveniences. 16 women artists came to the island to write and paint, and it was fabulous. First, it was plenty big for 16. The many bedrooms are comfortable and some are fantastic. There is not a window you can look out that doesn't have a breathtaking view. Boldt Castle is just across the bay. The property is expansive, with lots of places to explore , a gazebo, gargoyles that were once signals during prohibition and hammocks for lazy afternoons. Perhaps best of all, Phil and Nancy are consummate hosts. They ferreid us to and from the mainland when necessary, gave advice on stores and restaurants, and let us treat their home as our own. I'd be remiss not to mention that Luke is the most agreeable handyman on the planet. Sometimes you give a place five stars because there wasn't anything wrong with it and the owners are nice. Casa Blanca is the kind of place that truly rises above, what 5 stars were meant for. A magical place, that, once you've been, you dream of going back as soon and as often as possible. There is a flat backyard for family activities in the grass and a lovely front deck. Don't let the stairs in the photo scare you off. My knees don't do stairs well so I just walked around to the back door. It is a very short walk to the private dock There's a nice ladder for swimming off the dock. Wake up to a spectacular view of the sun rising over the St. Lawrence River while you watch the international ships passing a few hundred feet from your dock. This cottage is accessible by boat or car. Over 150' of private dockage onsite, so bring your boat and water toys. Onsite parking for up to 6 vehicles. Trailers can be stored at the state park down the road for a small fee paid to the park. It doesn't get any easier than that!!! This gorgeous six bedroom cottage is in Westminster Park on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands. As one of the larger islands, Wellesley Island is accessible by car.

The house is on one acre, has six bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two large living rooms and an enormous (about 50 feet long) beautiful screened-in porch, which also wraps around the side of the house. The house overlooks the water and is across from Boldt Castle (see photo). There is a small beach in front of the house, a boat house, and dock. The property is in a bay and therefore is great for swimming, fishing, and boating. Alexandria Bay is on the other side of Boldt Castle and an easy trip (five to ten minutes by boat or 15-20 minutes by car).

The kitchen and one bathroom have been significantly upgraded recently. The entire house has also been rewired for safety and convenience.

The house has six bedrooms: One bedroom has a queen, one has a full, one has a king (which could be divided into two singles), two bedrooms each have two single beds in them; and one bedroom has three single beds. Around the corner on the 50-foot long porch is another full sized bed.

The house is also about one mile from the TI Country Club, a beautiful club with 36 holes of great golf, a restaurant, a pool, tennis courts and a reputation for 1000 Islands hospitality that goes back over a hundred years.

We have been coming to Lake of the Isles ( St Lawrence river ) for 36 yrs . Always stayed at the state park but last year decided to try VRBO This place is perfect ! Our magical hideaway in the beauty of the Thousand Islands sleeps up to 10. This is the perfect place for a family to gather or a group of friends to relax and get away from it all. Our home, The Rectory, has 3 bedrooms and a sleeping porch. It has 2 full baths, washer and dryer upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The well equipped kitchen makes it easy to eat in or heat your favorites from home.
As you arrive at our wooded driveway you will love the mossy grounds, tall trees and porches.
There are plenty of windows to let the dappled light in. Our collection of local art gives interest to the clean white walled rooms with beautiful dark wood floors. Both new and antique furniture are mixed to offer interest and comfort.
The kitchen near the main entrance has a great island for drinking coffee and hanging out. The kitchen has large counters making it the perfect place to cook. There is a dishwasher, large refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. It is stocked with stainless steel pots and pans as well as basic baking equipment.
With a treehouse like feeling, the beds are on the second floor. Looking out of each window gives the feeling of being in the treetops.
A large screened in sleeping porch on the second floor has a lot to offer. There are two futon bunk beds with a single on top and a double on the bottom. The double can be made into a couch for lounging and reading books. There is a swinging chair and a table and chairs for playing cards or relaxing in the woods. Imagine waking up to the summer birds beautiful songs and the sounds of leaves rustling in the fresh summer breeze.
The Primary bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and a mini crib, it has a private feeling at the end of the house with four windows and two large closets. The State Park has a large beach, marina with boat rentals, a general store and places for your favorite athletic activities. The home is in driving distance to Alexandria Bay and Clayton. While not on the water, this beautiful newer home, has views of the water and is close to several state parks with water activities and access.
Across the road from The Rectory, you will find a quite chapel that is perfect for meditation, prayer or simply to read a book. This property boasts a great area for exploring, biking and hiking.

Charming 125+ year old boathouse apartment on Cherry Island which is the closest island from Alexandria Bay going toward the 1000 Island Bridge. This 3 bedroom apartment sleeps 6-8 and includes a covered slip for your use. You will also be able to use a portion of Cherry Island for spreading out. The boathouse is fully equipt with games and water and lawn toys. We have kayaks and row boats and canoes and some kids fishing stuff. There are rafts and tubes to use in the water.

It’s not exciting from the outside, but inside is incredible!

We purchased this home in 2019 and have completely rehabbed it. Two bedrooms and two full baths are offered in this rental. 1 king w ensuite shower and 1 queen across from 2nd full bath.Quartz countertops in the kitchen, gas range/oven. dw. washer/dryer and microwave are there for you. Linens and towels included in the rental. No direct river access, however the state park is less than two mi from property. slips and ramps there. we can accommodate up to 2 vehicles w boat trailers on the paved drwy and the gravel pull thru.
