This is a nicely furnished old Philly style row home with everything you need, located in the West Powelton neighborhood of Philadelphia. It is NOT an apartment. The whole house is yours. This area is just great for all kinds of restaurants, entertainment, cultural sites, educational opportunities and just hanging around. It is beautifully diverse and there is always something going on. If you are here to study, it is generally quiet, perfect for those doing rotationals/clinicals or just visiting our nation's first capital. Only 4 blocks to the Septa Market/Frankford Line, known here as the "EL". Then one stop to University of Pennsylvania, two stops to Drexel Station and then another 5 minutes to Suburban station and Jefferson Station. Not too far from Clark Park farm market and very close to grocery stores (Aldi's is 6 blocks away), public transportation, restaurants and bars, coffee shops etc a very up and coming neighborhood. It is on-street parking and you can often get a spot right in front of the house. The area around the house is patrolled by Drexel public safety, Drexel police, Philly police, Penn police, Penn public safety, university city ambassadors, etc.
This is a 3-bedroom house but two are being used as offices, one with a Spaze sofa bed, 1 large bathroom with large tub/shower, a 1st floor powder room, living area within the kitchen area, large front room with large dining table and nook seating area. The laundry is in the clean basement and the washer/dryer is clean and a lovely patio area in the back. Everything is here-linens, kitchen equipment, office supplies, toiletries, etc. And for those who like to cook, I offer a FULL range of spices and higher end pots and pans. There is a desk in each of the two upstairs offices. Much of the house has been renovated but still retains the charm of the early 1900s with original red pine flooring, two mantels and all the rest. This is a non-smoking home for all items that make smoke.
