Brand new renovation, located on the Westport River's east branch. This west facing charming 3 bedroom is perfect to enjoy sunsets. Close to beaches, the quaint Westport downtown, a brewery, winery and 10 minute drive to Dartmouth. This 3-bedroom house in Westport is perfect for your escape to relaxation. - "This property is great for multi age families. Our family shared the main floor but we had top and lower level sleeping areas that worked out nice. The yard is wonderful and spacious especially when little ones need to play off energy. With a fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room, delicious meals can be enjoyed at a table for 6. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the 2 upstairs bedrooms have full-size. All the bedrooms have A/C, but every afternoon around 4 or 5 the cooling breeze comes up the river, and makes the sitting on the patio a treat.

Find a quiet spot in the garden to read, or sit on the back yard patio in the morning enjoying coffee and birdsong.

There is a seafood market down the road where the freshest fish and shellfish can be bought to put on the gas grill. One can eat nothing but local fruits and vegetables from farm stands and farmers’ markets (when in season).

Kayaks and paddleboards can be rented across the road. Or you can bring your own to put in at the town landing there. The Head is an ideal place to start a bike ride. Westport has great roads and (mostly) polite drivers.

- "Much of what I would say has already been said by other reviewers. I would add that the hosting couple were very friendly and helpful. I was travelling with a senior who has mobility issues. The home offered a main floor bedroom and en-suite which worked perfectly for her...with an adjoining kitchen and living room with a TV. The hosts even offered the use of a mobility walker or "Rollator" while we were there. While you need to be fit to access the bedrooms on the top floor if you are travelling with someone with limited mobility these was a great choice for us."

- "Lovely Westport point home with fantastic views!!! Great restaurants within 25 minutes of this location. Little Compton, Tiverton, New Bedford all close by and Newport about 45 minutes away. A couple of highlights were the Sakonnet Gardens and the NewBedford harbor cruise. Owners of this home were wonderful to communicate with and I’m so happy that they decided to “share” their beautiful family home. The huge open concept livingroom/diningroom has cathedral ceilings, a ceiling fan and is great for family dinners and entertaining. The granite kitchen is open to the livingroom and the 3 bedrooms are all bright and clean. The two bathrooms have new floors, fixtures and lighting.. The master bedroom has an attached full bathroom with a new w/d. The wall of windows look out onto the deck with gas grill, and also look out to a huge backyard and a stone wall. An outdoor shower is great for after a sandy beach day. Walking 5 minutes down the private road you get to a picturesque bay with kayaks and sailboats. Lovely family neighborhood. A kayak is available to take serene rides on the Westport river just steps away. A 5 minute ride to spectacular ocean beaches. Nature preserves, great restaurants, horseback riding and movies, museums, malls, and minigolf are all a 10-20 minute ride away.

- "Great location!" - "We were in town for spring fest in tiverton. We wanted something that would make the baby feel like home, which this property did. It was the perfect size for the four of us. It was quiet and in a great location. Hoping to be able to rent this place yearly when we come back! " - "In town for the holiday weekend to attend a friend’s wedding. This house was adorable. The lot was lovely and quiet. We loved the rabbits and birds and were a bit sad we weren’t here later in the season to sample the raspberry/blackberries on site. The outdoor sitting area was really nice while the sun was out and we enjoyed coffee and quiet reading out there. We think grill would be really appreciated for that space.Kayla was very responsive and welcoming over text.There was a bit of a musty odor in the bathroom that came out into the rest of the house when windows were shut. We were disappointed to find the washer/dryer were out of order especially after getting soaked in a strong downpour while in Newport. The pull out couch in the second bedroom was not very comfortable and we were disappointed that it wasn’t an actual bed. There was also a rather loud gurgle noise coming from the basement at a constant rate which was concerning to start. We thought maybe a sump pump due to the rain.We never located the welcome binder. Overall it was a lovely space and reasonably priced for a holiday weekend. "

- "We have a group of 9 business owners in our forum that all wanted their own room. We rented the whole Inn! It was a great set up for our groups agenda. Great restaurants and oyster shack very close which was nice for a couple of our meals! Highly recommend this fun place. It was a great taste of Cape Cod history and culture! Rented the entire inn and it was a perfect space for our family, big enough for 14 of us, it's a cool old historic inn, full of quirky oddities throughout. I don't think it's marketed well. Swimming from the dock in the back yard, lobster roll restaurant steps away or a lobster boat selling fresh lobster when his “white flag with a lobster” is up also steps away. Cozy rooms, well equipped kitchen, an awesome dining room with a big farm table and a big wet bar - a professional 10 seat bar. Beautiful breeze throughout the house in the middle of a hot July. Air conditioners offered but not necessary for this weekend. A very typical New England / Cape Cod feel. We really enjoyed our stay - until the last 4 minutes... Check out was 11am. At 11:06 we were saying our good byes at the door when the innkeeper/owner, Brenda showed up. She never asked how our stay was and started to complain that we had used a table cloth on the farm table...? We explained we ate lobsters one night but had cleaned the table and had washed, dried and folded the table cloth and left on the cleaned table. She exclaimed "Who would eat lobster INSIDE? It STINKS!" she was bizarrely rude. And frankly we left the inn a little cleaner than we found it, Cleanliness is the weak spot of the inn, everything in kitchen needed to cleaned before use. She didn't even empty the fridge it was half full of her food..?!"

The upstairs beds were extremely comfortable (we didn't utilize the downstairs bed so can't really comment). The kids loved the nook office area to play and do school work. It was also very convenient having an onsite washer and dryer. The location is on a main road which was surprisingly very quiet, but located just 2 minutes from a main access road for easy traveling. We named the guesthouse after the resident Swifts that live in the old chimney in the adjacent workshop. The farm is a birders paradise and a dream for wildlife enthusiasts. Please note: this is working apiary, and we can have anywhere from 5 - 15 hives of honeybees at any given time. The honeybees are located about 150yards from the guesthouse, a safe distance for those who aren't inclined to be up close and personal with bees. Welcome to our summer cottage on historic Westport Point! Just minutes from Horseneck Beach, Westport Harbor, Buzzards Bay Brewing Co the Back Eddy restaurant, hiking trails and all that beautiful Westport has to offer.

Our cottage includes a spacious primary bedroom on the first floor with a full bath. Upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms, one with a separate space with two twin beds which is great for kids. The upstairs guest rooms share a full bath and include window unit air conditioning. A well stocked kitchen, grilling equipment and an outdoor terrace make entertaining easy. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for six, or dine outside on the terrace. There is a large backyard for kids to play and beautiful sunset views in the evening.

Horseneck State Park is a short drive or bike ride. Horseneck is a beautiful sandy beach on the western most part of Buzzards Bay. It is great for swimming, fishing and bird watching. There is a paved bike trail that runs the length of the beach which is a great way to start the day.

Just beyond Horseneck, Gooseberry Island has a sandy beach, walking trails and gorgeous views that attract visitors to its rugged shores year round.

Newport and all it has to offer is just 40 minutes away.

Walk or bike down Main Road to historic Westport Harbor and enjoy oysters and lobster rolls at Westport Sea Farms. The Back Eddy restaurant is also on the harbor. Make sure to enjoy a One-Eyed Jake margarita on the Back Eddy's dock at sunset.

The barn is not included in the rental, either is the dock. We will respect your privacy and simultaneously continue to intermittently use the barn as our family boathouse (at night as well as during the day).

You can expect to see us regularly travel down the south side of the property to the right of the barn, to get to the dock. We regularly use both the boat house/ barn & dock amongst our family.

We ask that you keep your cars on the left side of the driveway. This allows us to keep the right side of the driveway open for our family members to be able to get back-and-forth from the dock (in the day and at night).

You can easily fit two cars on the left side of the driveway. Please do not drive cars onto the lawn, or in the backyard. Street parking is available, you don’t need a pass to park there.

The right side of the driveway and behind the barn/ boat house shall remain a shared space w/ our family throughout your stay.

This is a ground level apartment. It sits in the walkout basement of the main residence. It has 7 east facing windows. Tons of light and faces the 15 acres of field. It was a dairy farm previously so the house is a converted cow barn. It is quiet and serine, far off the road. Enjoy walks in the fields or sit on the swing in the gardens.

It is furnished with Grandma's furniture but is comfy and quaint. The bed is new and very comfortable!

Guests access the house via a private laneway. Parking is located at the bottom of the stairwell to the second story deck and entrance to the home. The rental includes the entirety of the studio (open floor plan, one king bed). Access to the interior stairwell and farm storage below is closed unless in the case of emergency or special request. We invite guests to tour our gardens during regular business hours, but we ask that you respect the privacy of our home and keep to the prescribed paths and portions of the garden open to guests.

Other things to note
This is a working farm, so you may experience farm smells and sounds during your stay. We do have several chicken coops with roosters. Although the goats and guard dogs are locked in the barn at night and barking should be minimal, we provide a white noise machine and earplugs in the cottage for any light sleepers.

Hay season can bring machinery, commotion, and dust as multiple tractors traverse our 4 hay fields cutting, raking, tedding, baling, and taking the bales off the fields. We generally keep our 2nd cut (August) so you may witness our "haying party" when we recruit friends and neighbors to help us pull ~400 bales out of the fields, up the hay elevator, and into our hay loft.

Have fun with the whole family or friends at this stylish place where beautiful farms meets the sea. This home is newly renovated and is is centrally located in South Westport, five miles from Horseneck Beach.

You can spend your days basking in the sun, kayaking, riding bikes or visiting Buzzards Bay Brewery or Westport Vineyards Winery. Very close to farm stands for fresh produce and Wood's Ice Cream.

All are welcome in the Elinor Home. Dogs are permitted on a case by case basis.

The space
Three bedrooms, one outfitted with a queen bed. The other four quest/family members can choose from one bedroom with a full size bed that leads to the small patio off of the back of the house or another bedroom with a full size futon bed. This room has washer and dryer for your laundering needs.

The kitchen is fully equipped for dishes, stemware for six and a few more for your entertaining needs. Lots of pots and pans and fitted for someone who loves to cook.

Living room over looks farmland that is conserved and cannot be developed. You will often see deer grazing during dawn and dusk.

July and August at the height of the summer is a beautiful time to visit Westport, however September is one of my favorite months as things quiet down here a bit, the weather is perfect and after Labor Day all of the private beaches open up to the public. If you are a surfer, the surf tends to pick up with some good swells.

I personally love Fall and Winter. There are many great walking trails and the beaches are breathtaking at this time of year.

There is a raised bed garden in the Spring, Summer and early Fall in the backyard with some veggies, herbs, and flowers for you to enjoy.

If you enjoy outdoor games and fun there is a cornhole set, solar string lights, patio set, and charcoal grill.

*Mini Split wall unit for air conditioning is in the main living room.

Enjoy the “farmcoast” in this historic quaint cottage. A spacious yard with a deck just a short walk from the Westport River and boat ramp. About a 1/2 mile from the winery that features live music all summer. 5 minute drive to the beach.
Two bedrooms. There is a queen bed, a full bed and 2 twin beds. However, home would be most comfortable with 4 people or less. The two extra beds are most suitable for children. No central AC. There are a couple of window units.

The space
The home is comfortably renovated, with plenty of space indoors & out. The large back yard behind the house to the Westport River is great for gathering. Kayaks & Canoe Available Upon Request. The backyard is private from the front of the home on the street. The home is situated on a peninsula and you have water views to the south, east and west. The sunrise in the morning comes over and through the Horseneck bridge and into the kitchen. Then later in the day, you can catch the sunset to the west from the front of the house; looking off towards the harbor with all the sailboats. Three bedrooms upstairs; One king bed, one queen bed, and two full beds. The two full beds are in the same room. We also have an inflatable mattress. We also have dock space available at $4/ foot, per night (just let us know in advance & the size of the boat, so we can plan accordingly). **Please note, there is a construction project underway next door, ensuring our neighborhood is getting even better for future visits.**

You have full private access to the main house. There is a front door and a side door. The side door typically is the one that people use the most just because it’s more comfortable. The main house is all yours to use and the left side of the driveway. Get comfortable, your on vacation!

Please keep the right side of the driveway open so that our family can pull in to access the barn. You’ll want to park in front of white line on the cobblestones (renters provided one off street parking spot in driveway - off street parking allowed in front of property & along street), to ensure driveway & barn access for our family to enter driveway & park on right side (please). The backyard is shared space and the dock is used by our family members to access boats. The barn/boat house is not included in the rental & is separate. The barn is regularly used by our family (especially if the sun is shining). You’ll see folks in and out of the barn/ boat house day & night. Please don’t hesitate to say hello! If you’d prefer to keep to yourself, we completely understand and will do the same out of respect.

We do have a dock space available for you (upon request), at $4/ foot, per night.

Wednesday nights in the summer there is typically light folk music 100’ away, down by the fishing docks. Whomever knows how to play an instrument is welcome to join in; or just stop by to listen.

No smoking (of any kind) is allowed inside of the inn. For our 420 inclined guests there is a lovely glass greenhouse on the property with views of the Westport Harbor.

The Paquachuck Inn is a gorgeous structure with an original stone end, that features three floors with nine guest rooms and three shared bathrooms. Each guest room has a queen bed with exception of the Annie M Petty room, which has a queen and a twin. The Thomas Paull room offers two twin beds.

On the main floor there is the main lobby, originally the Cory general store, with a working fireplace and multiple seating areas. A full semi-commercial kitchen available for guest use and the Millie Reis room which, on select evenings, is home to the Paquachuck Seaside Speakeasy. Exit through the side door to the smoking lounge; a lovely glass antique greenhouse with lanterns and comfortable seating.

Follow the impressive slate floor out to the patio, gardens, dock and working waterfront. A quick walk out the door will take you to the neighboring oyster bar, the working harbor and a fifteen-minute walk to Horseneck Beach, voted one of the best, 'hidden gem' beaches on the South Coast by Yankee Magazine 2018.

The Farm Coast is known for its bounty of fresh local food. From artisanal cheeses, fresh milk, organic eggs and vegetables, and pasture raised meat to lobsters and oysters (literally) right outside our door, this is a foodie paradise!
