Welcome to Bumblebee Cove! Families and children welcomed! Our newly built cabin is located on beautiful Black Dan Lake, between the Chequamegon-Nicolet and Flambeau River forests. Surrounded by beauty and tranquility, lots of wildlife, and 100's of miles of snowmobile and 4 wheeling trails accessible directly from the property(located on both ATV and snowmobile route), our cabin is the perfect private getaway.
Our cabin is located only 8 miles from the town of Winter for your grocery/gas/hardware needs, and only 32 miles from Hayward. With over 2000 square feet, it has central air conditioning, 3 bedrooms, a large loft area, and additional sleeping in both family and living rooms. It has a large double shower in the master bath, and additional 1/2 bath, both on the first level. There is also a second bath with shower on the second level. Both the master bedroom and living room have patio walkouts to a large deck which overlooks the lake. The lower family room also has a walkout to a lower patio complete with furniture and a porch swing that overlooks the lake. NOTE: a screened porch has been added for our second season!

A fire pit is located in the yard for your enjoyment. We have a dock with plenty of room to sit and fish off of or dive right in and take a swim. The swimming right off the dock is superb! There is sand on one side of the dock which makes getting in and out of the lake very nice. Black Dan Lake is a class A musky fishing lake, with plenty of panfish, bass, walleye, and northern pike as well. There are even a few brown trout! Also available for you to use are two kayaks, a canoe, and row boat. There is a public boat landing so feel free to bring your own motorboat. It is a great lake to swim, fish, kayak, paddle board, or just simply relax and enjoy the incredible view or fall colors! Loon calls are common, as well as occasional bald eagle sightings.

A charcoal grill and utensils are provided.

Consideration of our neighbors is paramount. No camping on property, events, fireworks, loud music, or parties. There is NO SMOKING allowed inside the cabin, and we do not allow pets.

This unit is currently available for 4 day(minimum) rental periods, with a 4pm check-in, and 10am check-out on the day following the last evening stay.

NOTE: the kitchen table is much larger than what appears in the picture. We regularly seat 6 or even 8 people around the table when playing games, etc.... Also, there are extra folding chairs at the cabin for use around the table.

Located on the East side of Barber lake. This 1 acre 4 bedroom 3 bath lake home holds up to 8 people per Sawyer County regulations starting July 1 st. Pontoon included. Barber lake is a fantastic 200 acre lake that offers swimming, class A Muskie fishing, boating, conoeing, kayaking, water skiing, paddle boards and tubing. 3 day minimum from June 1-Oct 1. Our home is located just 5 minutes from Winter which offers a convenience store for food and gas, 3 bars, several churches and a grocery/ hardware store, but if that isn’t what your looking for just head North to Hayward 45 minutes away for shopping, dining, and site seeing. Sawyer county is known for its mountain biking trails, ATV trails to trailer to in Winter or direct access is behind the neighbors shed. Trail is marked with pink ribbons. Follow trail to Burnham Rd. Go left onto road. Cross over. HYW 70 to S. Clover Rd. Follow S. Clover to stop sign then go right. Tuscobia Trail is just ahead. Please respect the neighbors yard. He is kind enough to let us access the trail to be legal to get to the Tuscobia Trails. Snowmobiling trails, fishing, hiking trails and dozens of other great places to eat. Security camera located at the front door, back porch and by dumpster. Cameras turned off once you arrive. - "This was our second year staying here and we loved it again! Such a perfect place for our annual sibling get together with our children. The swing set, toys, and walk in beach area were great for our young children. A great rental that we have loved coming to!" - "Wonderful property with a great view! Laundry on site is convenient. Beach area was clean and good amount without weeds. Water is clear/ dark amber color. Shallow enough for my 4 yr old to be head above water off the end of the pier. Coarse/Rough sand. S barber is a small lake but peaceful. 6-8 ft deep max, so we had to be very careful tubing, avoiding the edges. Barber lake, where the boat launch is and connected by a small channel, was bigger and much deeper. The hosts were quick, polite, and attentive. My only (mild) criticism is I prefer when linens are professionally laundered, not by renters for the next guest. The living room carpet had quite a bit of dog hair on it so I had to vacuum right after we arrived. Regardless, we would absolutely stay again! The davis' have made this a place with many conveniences for their guests to relax and enjoy the lake. Thank you!"

This is a two bedroom, four season lake home. It has a large extra room that we use as an extra living room and bunk house. Property sleeps 8. We have lots of kayaks and canoes so you can enjoy the lake and the rivers that runs in front of the home.. The Sunsets are breathtaking. The lake was small enough I wasn't worried about them getting run over being out there on their own. It was my perfect idea of a cabin - not a pristine house, but a place that while totally clean, has been used and loved, so we could bring our dog to play along side us without being worried a bit of dirt would forfeit our deposit. We definitely want to go back again!"

Our gorgeous lodge nestled in the pines boasts an open floorplan with a beautiful 2-story wall of windows looking out onto a large deck with HOT TUB (available June thru Sept only) and stunning views of Hunter Lake. This home has 3 bathrooms along with 4 bedrooms to accommodate 11 guests in beds, with additional sleeping for 2 available on large comfy Cordaroy brand beanbag beds in the lower level gathering room. Our large kitchen includes beautiful granite countertops, a breakfast bar with seating for 4 and is fully stocked for your use. The dining area provides seating for 10 and the adjacent screen porch has seating for 8 guests. Plenty of room for your large group! Additionally, there is a 2nd screen porch providing a quiet space of tranquility.

ATV trails are also nearby and plentiful! A golf course is across the lake, just a 5-minute drive, and the 3-million acre Chequamegon-Nicolet Nat'l Forest offers hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, foraging or hunting. We doubt you'll ever feel like leaving, but just in case, the adorable town of Hayward lies just to our west and is a great place to shop, eat and enjoy the local artisan community. The lumberjack show is a must see and we highly recommend a stop at 3 Fly Sisters Taps & Wine on Main Street!

The only thing would have been we should have brought swim shoes but thats on us. My daughter cut her foot on a rock or clam shell, but that did not detour her from swimming continuously still."

Welcome to "moxi Lodge!" This two bedroom one bath upper level unit will be sure to keep you comfortable while you are enjoying all of your "Up North" outdoor activities. Bring the boat and enjoy everything Connors Lake has to offer, pontoon rental is also available! We are located directly on the snowmobile and ATV trail and offer ample parking for all of your vehicle and trailer needs. The Connors Lake park and boat landing are located within walking distance of the front door. If you tire of fishing Connors lake, the Lake of the Pines boat landing is less the a mile away for you to enjoy as well. Tens of thousands of state and county public access land surrounds the property for all of your hiking, hunting or wildlife viewing activities. All units are equipped with fully furnished kitchens. But, if you aren't feeling like cooking for yourself, the property is located right in between two popular local Bar/Restaurants (each less than a mile away).

Great 3 Season Cabin available for rent on Island Lake just northeast of Winter, WI and approximately 30 minutes east of Hayward, WI.

Almost everything is here at the cabin - dishes, full size fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, full bathroom, TV, VCR, DVD player, tons of movies and games. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. In regards to bedrooms, the cabin will sleep 4 comfortably. One bedroom has a queen size bed. Second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a double bed on the bottom. Occupancy maximum is 5.

There is a nice fire pit outside located between the two cabins that is shared between the two cabins. There is a second fire pit next to the lake. Plenty of firewood is included with your rental but if you want a fire, please bring your own paper/newspaper/stuff to light a fire with.

For the lake, included are: rowboat, 2 paddle boats, 2 kayaks, a 2 person canoe, fishing equipment, life jackets, etc.There is a pontoon available for rent for $100/day from property owner. If you are interested in renting the pontoon for your stay,please reserve the pontoon when you book your stay, as it is shared with the adjacent cabin on a first reserved - first served basis. If there is something else you'd like (or the pontoon is already reserved by the neighbor cabin) M&M Rentals in Hayward (715-634-3146) is just a short trip away and has all sorts of recreation items to rent.

For the fishing enthusiast...Island Lake is a clear 70 acre lake which is a Class A Musky lake and also has an abundance of Bass and Panfish. For the ATV enthusiast, the cabin is located a short distance from the Tuscobia Trail. The Golfer can enjoy some of the award winning golf courses in the Hayward/Cable/Winter area...Historic Barker Lake Lodge/Golf is a short drive away and was built by gangster "Gentleman Joe Saltis" in the 1920's. For some solace you can spend the day on the water by kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chippewa River from the Winter Dam to the Ojibwa Inn. It is a wonderful way to spend time with this leisurely 8 mile trip which has some of the nicest scenery in the world and a good place to watch some Bald Eagles at play. Have all the privacy of a small quaint lake with the flexibility to spend the day in Hayward or Cable and do some shopping, golfing, or dining. If you are interested in renting the pontoon for your stay,please reserve the pontoon when you book your stay, as it is shared with the adjacent cabin on a first reserved - first served basis. If there is something else you'd like (or the pontoon is already reserved by the neighbor cabin) M&M Rentals in Hayward (715-634-3146) is just a short trip away and has all sorts of recreation items to rent.

There is a nice fire pit outside located between the two cabins that is shared between the two cabins. There is a second fire pit next to the lake. There is plenty of firewood provided with your rental. If you want a fire, please bring your own paper/newspaper/whatever stuff to light the fire with.

For the fishing enthusiast...Island Lake is a clear 70 acre lake which is a Class A Musky lake and also has an abundance of Bass and Panfish. For the ATV enthusiast, the cabin is located a short distance from the Tuscobia Trail. The Golfer can enjoy some of the award winning golf courses in the Hayward/Cable/Winter area...Historic Barker Lake Lodge/Golf is a short drive away. For some solace you can spend the day on the water by kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chippewa River from the Winter Dam to the Ojibwa Inn. It is a wonderful way to spend time with this leisurely 8 mile trip which has some of the nicest scenery in the world and a good place to watch some Bald Eagles at play. Have all the privacy of a small quaint lake with the flexibility to spend the day in Hayward or Cable and do some shopping, golfing, or dining. Even better, outside there are a screened-in porch, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit, free dry firewood, canoe, kayaks, paddleboats, row boat, dock, and even a small pontoon boot ($50/d). The cabin is right on the lake and there are great views from up at the cabin and down on the dock. The lake is gorgeous with not too many other cabins, an island with a rope swing, lillipads all around, warm clear water, and lots of fish to catch. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. This property has it all - the host has thought of everything you may need, making it feel like home while on a relaxing get-away with an amazing outdoor space and view! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, small appliances, pots/pans, etc. if you plan on cooking there. The kitchen is so inviting and a joy to cook in. We enjoyed watching the neighborhood critters occasionally visit to steal birdfood out of the feeders as we cooked and did dishes. Jody was a wonderful host - very accomodating with excellent communication. The property has so many fun things to do. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and an attempt at paddle boarding, along with all the games in the basement. We wanted a family vacation without the typical tourist-trap attractions and tons of people. This location was perfect for that. It is secluded, quiet and relaxing, yet there are things to do nearby if desired. We traveled to Hayward for antiquing, mini golf and dinner. Winter is only about a mile away. It's a small little town, but offers a large grocery store with a great variety of food and beverages and a couple little restruants. To say we were pleased with our stay would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfect! Thank you for a wonderful trip- we hope to be back again!"

There is a fun trail system #5, plan for lots of water holes all navigable. There is some great fishing outside your door, plan to bring some fishing rods. There is access to the Chippewa River for canoeing or kayaking, as well. Its worth planning for some activities ahead. We'll be back again and hope to ride the deadhorse trail system next time. Our retreat provides starter paper products: paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. Each bedroom has linens and pillows for every bed. Bath towels (4) are provided for each bedroom. Hand towels are provided for each bathroom. We do not offer washer/dryer or laundry service during your stay, please plan accordingly if you will need additional towels or bedding. Hand soap and dish soap are provided. The kitchen has dishes, pots/pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee maker(reusable filter provided), stove, fridge, waffle maker and crockpot. There is an additional fridge in the basement for additional cold food storage. A Traeger pellet grill available for use with a full bin of pellets will be provided. Please only use grilling pellets in the Traeger pellet grill. Enjoy your stay and use what you need, we ask that you return everything when you've finished using it.

We do accept dog guests up to 2 dogs, 50 pounds or less.(see DOG POLICY) This is a dog friendly retreat and despite our best efforts there may still be pet hair after cleaning. We ask you kennel your dog if you will be out of the retreat for any period of time. Kennel is not provided, please be sure to bring you own pet containment/kennel. If your dog isn't housetrained, this is not the place for your pet. Respect our neighbors and keep your dog leashed when outdoors and manage the barking so everyone can enjoy the lake. Clean up your pet droppings every time your pet is outside.
We hope our guests enjoy their stay at our retreat but remember we are in the Northwoods and there will be nature that includes, mosquitoes, gnats, spiders etc. There will likely be dust and spiderwebs on outdoor tables/chairs and leaves about the outdoor space despite our best efforts to keep it clean, it is beyond our control. Weather, fish biting and other occurrences created by nature are beyond our control.

The cabin is just minutes outside of the small town of Winter, which is surrounded by the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in northwest Wisconsin. Winter is a secluded destination offering exciting activities for friends and family during all four seasons. From numerous lakes and rivers for fishing, boating and water sports to hundreds of miles of snowmobile, ATV and hiking trails to quaint shopping and community festivals, Winter is the perfect place for an outdoor adventure with your favorite people.

Other things to note:
Bobbers Cabin is not for parties or events. Guests are limited to the 5 people staying there, unless separate arrangements are made to make sure your plans align with acceptable use. Out of respect for the residential community, this is not intended to be a "party house."

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you allow dogs? — YES! We are dog friendly, but do not allow cats or any other pets. The limit is two dogs, and we charge $25 per dog.

Can I check in early or check out late? — Since our cabin is usually booked back-to-back, and our cleaners need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest, unfortunately we cannot accommodate early check in or late check out. Occasionally we can get the cabin ready an hour or so early, and if that happens, we will let you know the day of. Please do NOT arrive early with plans to “hang out” until cleaning is finished. It only prolongs the cleaning and causes frustration.

Do you have a coffee maker, and do you supply coffee? — We do have a single serve Keurig. We try to supply K-cups, but recommend that you bring your own, as it’s very hard to keep stocked and many guests have preferred coffee.

Do you have a BBQ grill? — Yes, we have a propane BBQ on the back deck. We supply propane and utensils.

Does the cabin have air conditioning? - No, but the cement foundation and shaded tree cover keep the home naturally cool.

Bluegill Cabin is the quintessential northern Wisconsin cabin; cozy, private, with lots of rustic charm. Situated on nearly 2 acres of land and over 100 feet of lake frontage, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast! The lake is 26 acres of spring-fed clear water; perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, floating, or watching the loons, turtles, and otters. This is a no-wake lake and motorized watercraft are prohibited, keeping our water and shoreline clean and pristine! (We provide PFDs, paddles, 4 kayaks, two paddle boards, a row-boat, and floating foam swim mat for your use.) For those looking for big water or water skiing, a boat launch into Fishtrap Lake is about a mile away, along with easy access to many other larger lakes and rivers in the area. Off the water, you will find access to the Chequamegon National Forest right across the street. Hikers and ATV users can access many miles of trail system within minutes of the cabin.

The main cabin was hand-built in the early 70’s, and is primitive but very functional and comfortable! The main cabin has two bedrooms, one and a half baths, dining area, and well-appointed full kitchen with all the gadgets you may need. The cabin is also well-stocked with board games, tv/dvd player (and movies) for rainy days. A full-size washer and dryer is also available for use during your stay.

Tuscobia state trail with trail access through the back yard for those with ATVs and snowmobiles. Interested in trail riding, but don’t have a machine? Just a short distance to Birchwood is ATV rentals through Airtec sports. Tuscobia trails are endless and neighbor several towns and villages such as Birchwood, Radisson, Winter, Hayward, and more! Property also borders the Couderay river if you are interested in fishing, canoeing, kayaking or hiking. Hayward is located approximately 20 miles, with several shops and good places to dine.

A long driveway leads you to this peaceful retreat on Perch Lake. It was originally built as a lake home in 1990. Then it was remodeled to what you see today. Bobbers Cabin includes a cozy living space with a gas fireplace and vaulted ceiling, a large kitchen with freestanding gas stove, two bedrooms with queen beds, a bathroom with washer/dryer, and an expansive deck. It’s a space that has been beautifully decorated by the cabin’s owners with uniquely designed objects, furniture, textiles, and art from the local area. Whether you are playing whiskey-fueled card games by the fire or relaxing on the deck embracing peace and quiet, this home offers the ultimate cabin experience. A picture-perfect spot to unwind & reconnect.

Other things to note
Bobbers Cabin is not for parties or events. Guests are limited to the 5 people staying there, unless separate arrangements are made to make sure your plans align with acceptable use. Out of respect for the residential community, this is not intended to be a "party house." We provide a starter kit of 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 paper towel. since it is a private lake there is no boat access and that is why boats and kayaks are provided.

FAQs:
Q: Can I check in early or check out late?
A: Since our cabin is usually booked back-to-back, and our cleaners need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest, unfortunately we cannot accommodate early check in or late check out. Please do NOT arrive early with plans to “hang out” until cleaning is finished. It only prolongs the cleaning and causes frustration.

Q: Do you allow dogs?
A: YES! We are dog friendly, but please let us know if you plan to bring yours, as we do charge a pet fee ($25 per dog). We may have to send you a separate request for this payment. We ask that you clean up after your dog (inside the cabin & outside), and do not leave your dog unattended in the cabin unless kenneled.

Q: Is there WiFi and is it any good?
A: Yes and yes! We upgraded our router in 2023. We've had many guests stay and "work from home" and students that complete their coursework from the cabin without a single complaint.

Q: Do we have cable TV?
A: No, not anymore. We have smart TVs so you can log in to your favorite streaming services. Just remember to log out before you leave. Netflix and Disney are provided

Q: Do you have a coffee maker, and do you supply coffee?
A: We do have a single serve Keurig. recommend that you bring your own, as it’s very hard to keep stocked and many guests have preferred coffee.

Q: Do you have a BBQ grill?
A: Yes, we have a propane BBQ on the back deck. We supply propane and utensils.

Q: Does the cabin have air conditioning?
A: No, but the cement foundation and shaded tree cover keep the home naturally cool.

Q: What kind of fish are in Perch Lake?
A: Anglers can expect to find a variety of fish including Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Panfish, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. Perch Lake is 129 acres in size and 24 ft deep.

Q: Do we have boat or canoe/kayaks
A: Yes, we do! Bobbers Cabin has two kayaks, two canoes, and a rowboat.

The space
If you want to experience a true northern Wisconsin “up north” cabin, then this is your place. Connor’s Lake is peaceful yet will get busier with boat traffic on holiday weekends. There is a public beach on the north side of the lake with a playground and boat landing.
The cabin has been recently updated to include 1 full bath stocked with plenty of towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
There is a washer and dryer available along with Tide pods and fabric softener.
The two bedrooms each contain a queen size bed along with bedding and extra blankets if needed. A pull out full size futon is located in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and baking supplies along with a Keurig, k-cups and creamers.
Large windows face the lake to watch the morning sunrises. We have a private dock with bumpers to tie up your boat. There is a bench on the dock to sit and soak up the sun or enjoy the beautiful lake. Our beach front is shallow and sandy for little ones to play in the water.
Two great bars/restaurants are located nearby. Flambeau Forest has the best fish fry, burgers along with amazing old fashioneds. They even have ice cream for the kids. Big Bear has awesome pizza, burgers, even duck, along with canoe rentals. A new cocktail lounge, Moxie’s, just opened on Connor’s Lake.
We would love for you and your family to enjoy this “up north” experience.

The Tuscobia Trail is less than 5 miles away from Reelaxation Cabin. From there you can access the entire upper WI trail system.
Other attractions you'll find are the areas rivers and lakes, Winter Greenhouse, Winter Depot, Ojibwa Park, Flambeau State Forest, Chequamegon National Forest, and Flambeau Hills hiking, biking and ski trails.

Reelaxation Cabin has ample parking on the property for ATV/UTV and/or Snowmobile trailers and/or machines or boat/pontoon trailers as well.

This is a very well maintained Lake home on a 238 acre Lake. It is a class A muskie lake and has seven different types of fish for you fishing pleasure. I love the river that runs through the lake it is a ton of fun to kayak or canoe from up stream and reach the Lake House. The beach is good for swimming fairly shallow so its wonderful for children and pets. The Dock can accommodate a large boat and the lake allows water skiing, tubing etc. I love the calm water and breathtaking sunsets.

The space
My lake place is unique because it is very quiet. I have 100 feet of beach. My neighbors to the south have 500 feet and to the North have 300 so it feels very private. There is a golf course on our lake, which is very close. I have kayaks, a paddle boat, sailboat, row boat, paddle board, canoes and bicycles for you to use. I keep the home very clean. I am 23 miles East of Hayward and a half hour from the Birkie trail and Cambra Mountain bike trails. There is a fire pit by the lake and wood for you to burn. I use this home myself so it is true key ready.

- One bedroom on lower level with new Nectar queen size luxury foam mattress.

The space
This home truly has room for your family to spread out and enjoy. The Lake Side property, once one of only a few original cabins on Lake Winter, now revived for todays standards.

The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances; including a gas stove top, electric hot plate, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen has a Keurig Duo, hand mixer, blender and more!

Dinning room includes large table with seating for 8. Dishes are stocked and provided for you to cook a family meal.

The living room opens up to allow seating for 8 with sectional couch. A 55" smart TV with Roku that is WIFI ready, and allows you to log into all of your favorite streaming channels/apps. DVD player for rainy days or kids movies of your own. Complimentary WI-FI for guests to use or work.

There is a Laundry room off the entry way with standard size washer and dryer. Please bring your own detergent and dryer sheets.

There is no parking indoor for any kind of vehicles.

Wrap around deck with an outdoor dining table with 6 chairs. A propane grill and a firepit area with additional seating to gather around the campfire. During summer months, guests can enjoy complimentary use of our 2 kayaks and 1 stand up paddle board on the lake. Hot tub off of the basement patio door. (Open year round) that fits up to 5 adults or kids for guests to enjoy. There is no stairs down to the lake from the yard. However there is a flight of stairs off the back deck of the home to get down to the yard / lake as well as off the front door down to the driveway. The basement door does walk out to the yard and is also only 20 feet away from the lake and dock.

Plus, enhance your stay by renting our pontoon for endless lake adventures! Contact the hosts to arrange pontoon rental at affordable rates: $100 per day or $550 per week. Please note, a $500 damage deposit will be held. Guests born on or after January 1, 1989, must have a WI boater license to operate the pontoon.

NOTE- This home is for family vacations and small friend group get togethers and is in an exclusive neighborhood. It is not to be used as a party home. You must be 25 or older to rent this home. It is only through your responsible actions that we can continue to offer this private home as a rental. Please respect our home and take good care of it.

ITEMS PROVIDED. Landlord shall provide all bedding, full kitchen accessories, hand and dishwasher soap, fire pit, propane grill. During summer months, guests can enjoy complimentary use of our 2 kayaks and 1 stand up paddle board on the lake.

ITEMS NOT PROVIDED. The Guest shall be responsible for providing the following, but not limited, items: BRING YOUR OWN BATH TOWELS AND HAND / WASH CLOTHS, beach towels, bodywash and hair shampoo, laundry detergent and fabric softener (needed only if you plan to wash clothes at the premises), firewood (if you want to have a bonfire and something to light the fire with), one propane tank onsite for the grill, yard toys (like volleyball, frisbees, soccer ball, softball and bat, football to play catch with), DVD's for a rainy day, and board games. It is also understood that there is not a landline telephone at the premises.

Waterfront / Hot Tub: Warning! No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.

IMPORTANT: You can rest easy knowing your space is covered with $3,000 In "All-Risk" Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection. With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from guests is covered unless it's specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. Pet damages will be invoiced to the guest if damages is above our pet fee of 125$. Guest is fully responsible for their pet while staying with us.

DOG FRIENDLY
We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog. We do charge a 125$ non refundable pet fee per stay.
We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog:
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime;
*Chew things other than bones;
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;
*Use the house as a bathroom.

Please bring all needed dog items with you, we allow up to two (2) 65 lbs dog. We ask that your dog be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not. Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners. There is a small fenced in area off the side of the home for pets. Pet damages will be invoiced to the guest if damages is above our pet fee of 125$. Guest is fully responsible for their pet while staying with us.
If booking for more than one pet, an additional pet fee will be added after booking for 125$ plus tax. Inquire with host for questions

About the lake: Winter Lake (Price Flowage) is a 733 acre lake located in Sawyer County. It has a maximum depth of 22 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye.

Guest access
This 4 bedroom 1.5 bath home is located on Lake Winter with an average size driveway. The entire house and yard is for your enjoyment. We ask you please respect the neighbors, and stay off their property. We have a keypad to provide access to the guest. A full list of access instructions will be sent to you 24 hrs before check-in via email.

Other things to note
We have a security camera on the property which serves to monitor the dumpster. Camera faces out from the house to see the dumpster at the end of the driveway. It will be on during your stay.

Guest access
To make check-in easier and prevent lockouts or forgotten keys, we've installed keypad locks on our doors, so there's no need for physical keys. You will receive a code that all guests can use to enter and exit the property on the day of check-in. Guests may arrive any time after 4 PM on the day of check-in. Early check-ins will be offered on a stay-by-stay basis depending on if the property is available at that time.

Exterior Video Recording:
There is one flood light security camera attached to the garage overlooking the driveway and one motion tracking camera overlooking the road & area behind the garage. These cameras will always be on but are not actively monitored during your stay. They are there for safety and security for our guests and our property. No cameras are placed inside the home, no camera has any view of the interior of the property, no camera has a view of common gathering areas. Security cameras may be used to verify compliance with rental policies.
