Welcome to Bumblebee Cove! Families and children welcomed! Our newly built cabin is located on beautiful Black Dan Lake, between the Chequamegon-Nicolet and Flambeau River forests. Surrounded by beauty and tranquility, lots of wildlife, and 100's of miles of snowmobile and 4 wheeling trails accessible directly from the property(located on both ATV and snowmobile route), our cabin is the perfect private getaway.
Our cabin is located only 8 miles from the town of Winter for your grocery/gas/hardware needs, and only 32 miles from Hayward. With over 2000 square feet, it has central air conditioning, 3 bedrooms, a large loft area, and additional sleeping in both family and living rooms. It has a large double shower in the master bath, and additional 1/2 bath, both on the first level. There is also a second bath with shower on the second level. Both the master bedroom and living room have patio walkouts to a large deck which overlooks the lake. The lower family room also has a walkout to a lower patio complete with furniture and a porch swing that overlooks the lake. NOTE: a screened porch has been added for our second season!

A fire pit is located in the yard for your enjoyment. We have a dock with plenty of room to sit and fish off of or dive right in and take a swim. The swimming right off the dock is superb! There is sand on one side of the dock which makes getting in and out of the lake very nice. Black Dan Lake is a class A musky fishing lake, with plenty of panfish, bass, walleye, and northern pike as well. There are even a few brown trout! Also available for you to use are two kayaks, a canoe, and row boat. There is a public boat landing so feel free to bring your own motorboat. It is a great lake to swim, fish, kayak, paddle board, or just simply relax and enjoy the incredible view or fall colors! Loon calls are common, as well as occasional bald eagle sightings.

A charcoal grill and utensils are provided.

Consideration of our neighbors is paramount. No camping on property, events, fireworks, loud music, or parties. There is NO SMOKING allowed inside the cabin, and we do not allow pets.

This unit is currently available for 4 day(minimum) rental periods, with a 4pm check-in, and 10am check-out on the day following the last evening stay.

NOTE: the kitchen table is much larger than what appears in the picture. We regularly seat 6 or even 8 people around the table when playing games, etc.... Also, there are extra folding chairs at the cabin for use around the table.

Family games too - cornhole, badminton, croquet, etc. A perfect place to recharge and reconnect."

Located on the East side of Barber lake. This 1 acre 4 bedroom 3 bath lake home holds up to 8 people per Sawyer County regulations starting July 1 st. Pontoon included. Barber lake is a fantastic 200 acre lake that offers swimming, class A Muskie fishing, boating, conoeing, kayaking, water skiing, paddle boards and tubing. 3 day minimum from June 1-Oct 1. The fire pit with swings is great for enjoying the view and just relaxing with family and friends during the day and for evening fires. Our home features a master bedroom with a king bed. The 2 nd bedroom will have 2 queen beds available, and the 3 rd bedroom has a queen bed all Additional bedrooms and bathroom in the basement. 4 th bedroom has 2 twin beds. 5 th bedroom 1-Queen and 2- twin beds and 6 th bedroom 1-Queen. There are 3 full bathrooms. They are very spacious and offer a vanity with a shower/ tub combinations and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, small crockpot, utensils, pressure cooker, pot/ pans, coffee pot with coffee, Kerrig, plates, glasses. ( coffee mugs, wine glasses) and tin pans for cooking. Blue dumpster across the road is ours for your trash. Our home has many items you will need to enjoy your stay with us, so you don’t have to pack everything and the kitchen sink to have a stress free vacation. Our home is located just 5 minutes from Winter which offers a convenience store for food and gas, 3 bars, several churches and a grocery/ hardware store, but if that isn’t what your looking for just head North to Hayward 45 minutes away for shopping, dining, and site seeing. Sawyer county is known for its mountain biking trails, ATV trails to trailer to in Winter or direct access is behind the neighbors shed. Trail is marked with pink ribbons. Follow trail to Burnham Rd. Go left onto road. Cross over. HYW 70 to S. Clover Rd. Follow S. Clover to stop sign then go right. Tuscobia Trail is just ahead. Please respect the neighbors yard. He is kind enough to let us access the trail to be legal to get to the Tuscobia Trails. Snowmobiling trails, fishing, hiking trails and dozens of other great places to eat. Security camera located at the front door, back porch and by dumpster. Cameras turned off once you arrive. We hope that you will enjoy your experience with your family and friends and come back to see us again next year. Pontoon is included with the house rental. You would be responsible for filling the gas tank back to full. Gas cans will be available. Pontoon is not available after Oct. 1st. until June 1 st. - "This was our second year staying here and we loved it again! Such a perfect place for our annual sibling get together with our children. The swing set, toys, and walk in beach area were great for our young children. A great rental that we have loved coming to!" - "Wonderful property with a great view! Laundry on site is convenient. Beach area was clean and good amount without weeds. Water is clear/ dark amber color. Shallow enough for my 4 yr old to be head above water off the end of the pier. Coarse/Rough sand. S barber is a small lake but peaceful. 6-8 ft deep max, so we had to be very careful tubing, avoiding the edges. Barber lake, where the boat launch is and connected by a small channel, was bigger and much deeper. The hosts were quick, polite, and attentive. My only (mild) criticism is I prefer when linens are professionally laundered, not by renters for the next guest. The living room carpet had quite a bit of dog hair on it so I had to vacuum right after we arrived. Regardless, we would absolutely stay again! The davis' have made this a place with many conveniences for their guests to relax and enjoy the lake. Thank you!"

This is a two bedroom, four season lake home. It has a large extra room that we use as an extra living room and bunk house. Property sleeps 8. We have lots of kayaks and canoes so you can enjoy the lake and the rivers that runs in front of the home.. The Sunsets are breathtaking. We have a fire pit by the lake. 6 miles North of Winter and 23 Miles East of Hayward on Hwy. B

She has a plethora of small lake water crafts, and my 9 and 12 year old girls adored paddling around in kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The lake was small enough I wasn't worried about them getting run over being out there on their own. It was my perfect idea of a cabin - not a pristine house, but a place that while totally clean, has been used and loved, so we could bring our dog to play along side us without being worried a bit of dirt would forfeit our deposit. We definitely want to go back again!"

Our gorgeous lodge nestled in the pines boasts an open floorplan with a beautiful 2-story wall of windows looking out onto a large deck with HOT TUB (available June thru Sept only) and stunning views of Hunter Lake. This home has 3 bathrooms along with 4 bedrooms to accommodate 11 guests in beds, with additional sleeping for 2 available on large comfy Cordaroy brand beanbag beds in the lower level gathering room. Our large kitchen includes beautiful granite countertops, a breakfast bar with seating for 4 and is fully stocked for your use. The dining area provides seating for 10 and the adjacent screen porch has seating for 8 guests. Plenty of room for your large group! Additionally, there is a 2nd screen porch providing a quiet space of tranquility.

Speaking of winter, bring your snowmobiles to enjoy miles of Sawyer County trails. Garage and heated shop available for your sleds & gear. Our driveway has a large parking pad for your trailer. ATV trails are also nearby and plentiful! A golf course is across the lake, just a 5-minute drive, and the 3-million acre Chequamegon-Nicolet Nat'l Forest offers hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, foraging or hunting. We doubt you'll ever feel like leaving, but just in case, the adorable town of Hayward lies just to our west and is a great place to shop, eat and enjoy the local artisan community. The lumberjack show is a must see and we highly recommend a stop at 3 Fly Sisters Taps & Wine on Main Street!

This would be a great place for a girls weekend, couples getaway, or a get away for a small family. We basically had our own lakefront island. There was a fire pit and plenty of wood. We enjoyed the small cabin and the kids enjoyed switching beds nightly. The cabin was clean and easy to find. Looks just like the pictures. The only thing would have been we should have brought swim shoes but thats on us. My daughter cut her foot on a rock or clam shell, but that did not detour her from swimming continuously still."

Welcome to "moxi Lodge!" This two bedroom one bath upper level unit will be sure to keep you comfortable while you are enjoying all of your "Up North" outdoor activities. Bring the boat and enjoy everything Connors Lake has to offer, pontoon rental is also available! We are located directly on the snowmobile and ATV trail and offer ample parking for all of your vehicle and trailer needs. The Connors Lake park and boat landing are located within walking distance of the front door. If you tire of fishing Connors lake, the Lake of the Pines boat landing is less the a mile away for you to enjoy as well. Tens of thousands of state and county public access land surrounds the property for all of your hiking, hunting or wildlife viewing activities. All units are equipped with fully furnished kitchens. But, if you aren't feeling like cooking for yourself, the property is located right in between two popular local Bar/Restaurants (each less than a mile away).

-We have a zero tolerance guest pet policy. Guests who bring pets on to the property (in the building or otherwise) will be asked to find suitable accommodations for the pet elsewhere or terminate the reservation without refund.

Great 3 Season Cabin available for rent on Island Lake just northeast of Winter, WI and approximately 30 minutes east of Hayward, WI.

Almost everything is here at the cabin - dishes, full size fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, full bathroom, TV, VCR, DVD player, tons of movies and games. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. In regards to bedrooms, the cabin will sleep 4 comfortably. One bedroom has a queen size bed. Second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a double bed on the bottom. Occupancy maximum is 5.

There is a nice fire pit outside located between the two cabins that is shared between the two cabins. There is a second fire pit next to the lake. Plenty of firewood is included with your rental but if you want a fire, please bring your own paper/newspaper/stuff to light a fire with.

For the lake, included are: rowboat, 2 paddle boats, 2 kayaks, a 2 person canoe, fishing equipment, life jackets, etc.There is a pontoon available for rent for $100/day from property owner. If you are interested in renting the pontoon for your stay,please reserve the pontoon when you book your stay, as it is shared with the adjacent cabin on a first reserved - first served basis. If there is something else you'd like (or the pontoon is already reserved by the neighbor cabin) M&M Rentals in Hayward (715-634-3146) is just a short trip away and has all sorts of recreation items to rent.

For the fishing enthusiast...Island Lake is a clear 70 acre lake which is a Class A Musky lake and also has an abundance of Bass and Panfish. For the ATV enthusiast, the cabin is located a short distance from the Tuscobia Trail. The Golfer can enjoy some of the award winning golf courses in the Hayward/Cable/Winter area...Historic Barker Lake Lodge/Golf is a short drive away and was built by gangster "Gentleman Joe Saltis" in the 1920's. For some solace you can spend the day on the water by kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chippewa River from the Winter Dam to the Ojibwa Inn. It is a wonderful way to spend time with this leisurely 8 mile trip which has some of the nicest scenery in the world and a good place to watch some Bald Eagles at play. Have all the privacy of a small quaint lake with the flexibility to spend the day in Hayward or Cable and do some shopping, golfing, or dining. For the lake, included are: rowboat, 2 paddle boats, 2 kayaks, a 2 person canoe, fishing equipment, life jackets, etc.There is a pontoon available for rent for $100/day from property owner. If you are interested in renting the pontoon for your stay,please reserve the pontoon when you book your stay, as it is shared with the adjacent cabin on a first reserved - first served basis. If there is something else you'd like (or the pontoon is already reserved by the neighbor cabin) M&M Rentals in Hayward (715-634-3146) is just a short trip away and has all sorts of recreation items to rent.

There is a nice fire pit outside located between the two cabins that is shared between the two cabins. There is a second fire pit next to the lake. There is plenty of firewood provided with your rental. If you want a fire, please bring your own paper/newspaper/whatever stuff to light the fire with.

For the fishing enthusiast...Island Lake is a clear 70 acre lake which is a Class A Musky lake and also has an abundance of Bass and Panfish. For the ATV enthusiast, the cabin is located a short distance from the Tuscobia Trail. The Golfer can enjoy some of the award winning golf courses in the Hayward/Cable/Winter area...Historic Barker Lake Lodge/Golf is a short drive away. For some solace you can spend the day on the water by kayaking, tubing or canoeing down the Chippewa River from the Winter Dam to the Ojibwa Inn. It is a wonderful way to spend time with this leisurely 8 mile trip which has some of the nicest scenery in the world and a good place to watch some Bald Eagles at play. Have all the privacy of a small quaint lake with the flexibility to spend the day in Hayward or Cable and do some shopping, golfing, or dining. - "The cabin was just as advertised except better! There is plenty of room and plenty of comfortable beds, a full kitchen and a modern bathroom. Even better, outside there are a screened-in porch, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit, free dry firewood, canoe, kayaks, paddleboats, row boat, dock, and even a small pontoon boot ($50/d). The cabin is right on the lake and there are great views from up at the cabin and down on the dock. The lake is gorgeous with not too many other cabins, an island with a rope swing, lillipads all around, warm clear water, and lots of fish to catch. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We'll be back for another few days of relaxing and fishing!"

- "We had high expectations based on the photos in the listing. We were not disappointed, in fact it was even better in person. The "cabin" is open, spacious and comfortable. This property has it all - the host has thought of everything you may need, making it feel like home while on a relaxing get-away with an amazing outdoor space and view! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, small appliances, pots/pans, etc. if you plan on cooking there. The kitchen is so inviting and a joy to cook in. We enjoyed watching the neighborhood critters occasionally visit to steal birdfood out of the feeders as we cooked and did dishes. Jody was a wonderful host - very accomodating with excellent communication. The property has so many fun things to do. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and an attempt at paddle boarding, along with all the games in the basement. We wanted a family vacation without the typical tourist-trap attractions and tons of people. This location was perfect for that. It is secluded, quiet and relaxing, yet there are things to do nearby if desired. We traveled to Hayward for antiquing, mini golf and dinner. Winter is only about a mile away. It's a small little town, but offers a large grocery store with a great variety of food and beverages and a couple little restruants. To say we were pleased with our stay would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfect! Thank you for a wonderful trip- we hope to be back again!"

- "We booked the cabin for a SxS trip. Place was clean, owners were great to deal with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend Eagle Lodge. I know we will definitely be back again. " - "We decided to stay here from searching online for a place close to atv trails by the Deadhorse atv trail system. We used the Tuscobia trail system to ride here from beyond Birchwood. This was a very nice relaxing 4 day stay. Couple things about the stay. Nice, clean, relaxing place. Deadhorse trail system little further than we thought. There is a fun trail system #5, plan for lots of water holes all navigable. There is some great fishing outside your door, plan to bring some fishing rods. There is access to the Chippewa River for canoeing or kayaking, as well. Its worth planning for some activities ahead. We'll be back again and hope to ride the deadhorse trail system next time. Great stay."

- "Very relaxing setting. Can hear the babbling of the East Fork of the Chippewa River and look out over the river as it widens into a sprawling channel. Appreciated the cleanliness and responsiveness. We asked about firewood and when we returned from a day of hiking waterfalls a large pile had been delivered next to the fire pit. We were a group of two couples. Enjoyed our stay." - "Cabin is very clean and comfortable. Has all the amenities for a very enjoyable stay.
