I stayed in the old house, which has been converted into a number of en-suite bedrooms. Nature surrounds you in the beautiful grounds and the staff were friendly and attentive. Meals were simple but filling and fantastic. Raymond is incredibly knowledgeable and the tours he gives are full of expert detail. Although I had read a number of books about the war, actually visiting the sites on and around this property really brought home the tragedy and futility of the events.
