As it was our honeymoon they did a special surprise in the room for us which was very special ! All the staff were amazing , food was amazing , the area was just picturesque ! The sea turquoise & we had lovely walks every morning up the beach which you could walk for miles , many restaurants for lunch or dinner , friendly people & locals…. The village which ran parallel to the beach has good restaurants , bars with live music , gift shops , supermarket with local foods & very safe too ! I can’t speak highly enough about the area but especially at the Red Monkey where we were treated by all the staff amazingly well , couldn’t do enough for us , they organised a special meal for us on the beach for our honeymoon which was amazing….on a Sunday we danced the night away with the owners & staff as they have live bands & a dj on Sunday evenings !! During dinner, we once again enjoyed the all-singing, joyous birthday celebrations the staff perform as they approached people on other tables who were celebrating birthdays. Once the celebratory song was over, staff explained it was a 'welcome back' cake - which had been organised by Shiela and was greatly appreciated. We arrived rather late in the afternoon after a very long road journey but we were still provided with a freshly-cooked lunch which was delicious and much appreciated. The chef and a member of the dining room staff stayed back well after the usual lunch slot to attend to us and we would like to thank them both for doing this. Due to the lodges being dotted around a sloping area and the stairs spread around the vast grounds, getting to and from the dining room was rather challenging for the two senior citizens in our group who both have mobility issues. The layout of the stunning grounds means that the property is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as you can't really get around even with a wheelchair - hence the two senior citizens struggled to get to places themselves. One member of our group slipped in the shower cubicle as it took a while for the soapy water to clear out - hence maybe a mat can be offered to make the surface less slippery? This is the only downside of an otherwise stunning property. "

The hut is designed in the style of local homes but comes with a modern twist to ensure maximum comfort. It features two bedrooms, a cozy space with a table and chairs, and an outdoor kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom includes a traditional toilet and a bucket shower, offering a unique and fun experience. Till now, the kitchen only consists of a small gas cooker and a mini-fridge which is enough for simple meals but there are restaurants close by. You'll be surrounded by a lush garden filled with fruit trees and spices, all yours to enjoy in complete privacy thanks to the beautiful wooden fence enclosing the space
