Messages read but no response after 1/2 hr. Called and told I should have known to use lockbox to get key! I asked about where to find supermarket and laundromat. Told to order food online and that someone would help with laundry on Monday (it was thurs). In the end, all was well, found groceries on google map and a lovely staff person took and returned my laundry next week for 10 euro. Night before I left, I messaged asking instructions about departure and key. Never got any answer at all. I left the key in the room. In short, the place was great for my needs and all worked out but the communication with the host was nothing like I have experienced elsewhere in Portugal -- and this was not at all a matter of language."
