This space has a shared entrance with a large foyer to store your coats and shoes. If you want you are more than welcome to take your shoes and coat with you downstairs as there is a hanger and matt in the room, just please remove shoes on the trip downstairs.

The bedroom and living room are completely separate but the entrance to the second kitchen and bathroom are "shared" space due to laundry and storage needs.

I live upstairs and come down for laundry.

The space
The space has a cozy feel with a comfortable couch to relax and a 42" flat screen to hook your electronics up to. We also have a rainmate in the room if you would like to add some air purifying or white noise to your stay.

There is an outdoor rink with nets just down the block to the east, a convenience store just up the road to the north and large green space two min away to the south with some swings and teetertotter.

Guests can access the second kitchen in the common area downstairs, you may also use the foyer on the entry landing to store your boots. There are hooks and a boot matt inside your lockable area for your coats and extra shoes if you would rather carry them down stairs.

If you need any help or information you can always knock on my door and I will be glad to help you if I can. If I'm not there you can reach me through my cell or the air bnb app.

Other things to note
If you need early check in please ask about it. Most of the time it is fine. I have check in set late just incase I have a check in and out on the same day. Gives me time to clean and do laundry after work.

We have a dog and cat. Both are very friendly. They love people so please don't be shy to say hello if you see them.

I currently have drywall removed on a small wall in the basement living room. But privacy is not hindered.

If the air mattress is needed, please let me know ahead of time so I can inflate it and sheet it.

The dryer is having technical issues. It still works but if it stops spinning it needs a little "fonzie tap on the top left metal corner. (loose ground I suspect...)

The space
The back end of the skoolie is parked right on an alleyway and we're located near the entry point of a closed off neighborhood. The skoolie itself is parked on the back end of our property, neatly tucked beside our garage and open to our backyard green space/ fire pit/ garden beds.

We offer our backyard space to you for recreational purposes, including an outdoor fire place for your personal use as well as an outdoor eating dinette.

Guest access
The backyard space is free for you to use during your stay. We have several different amenities available for your use upon request and some will just be available.

This is an incredible stay for people who want quick stays, week long stays, an escape, or even if you want to get the "glamping" experience and relax but don't want to have to do any of the work to pack, prep and move with your camper. We've worked to create a soothing & restful environment that will fill your soul while meeting your basic needs in roughly 90 square feet. If you have a heart for eco-friendly stays, then you have captured a part of our heart as well, as this bus is solar powered (400 watts), heats on firewood and boasts nature accents like wooden countertops, plants, wooden bowls & spoons and biodegradable soap options available for use & a composter. However, because your comfort is the most important - for those colder summer nights, if you don't want to start a fire in the night, we have a plug in heater available, in which case the bus can plug in as well.

If you're here to zip in & out and you aren't necessarily looking to stay & relax, we are a perfect stay for that as well with our self-check in/ check out and flexible attitudes! The space is the perfect spot to relax while on vacation, in town for an event or function, or visiting family and friends .

We are located close to downtown, an easy three block walk. You will love the shops, boutiques and eating places. Or just enjoy the walk and friendly town.

The space
Our cottage has one bedroom on the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs, including dishware for six people.

The dining area comfortably seats six or more people, Relax in the living room with soft lamps and cushions and a cupboard stocked with books and games. The back entrance has a washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. Head out to the backyard where you can enjoy the patio, complete with barbecue, patio table and chairs and patio lights.
There’s also a fire pit where you can enjoy a campfire on those beautiful Alberta summer evenings .

Other things to note
We have decorated the cottage to look and feel aesthetically pleasing and homey, however you will notice a few quirks that show the age of this charming historic home. The upstairs bedrooms are toasty in summer and can be cold in winter. We have a window AC unit we pop in for the summer months and ceiling fans in both bedrooms, this cools down the space comfortably. In winter we have a space heater you can use if you like it warmer. The floors can also be cold in winter specially when the temperature dips down. Bring your wooly socks and slippers and you will be comfy and cozy as can be.

The 19 ft motorhome has the dining table that converts to a bed. The other bed is above the cab as usual. The kamparoo has a queen size bed in it . There is a portapotti in the Kamparoo. It has lots of windows and screens that can be opened. .Has a guiet ceramic heater if you need it. There is an ad a room that you can attach to the side of the Kamparoo if you want more shade . The Kamparoo has a bbq if you want to cook a juicy steak or hamburger

The guiet street that runs along the west side of Jubilee Park is perfect for your kids scooters or skateboards. There is a playground just down the street in Jubilee Park as well as a 9 hole disc golf course. I can sign out a couple of sets of disc from the library if you want to try it out. Bring your bikes if you want to explore the 25 km of paved and grassy trails. My grandkids have got swings and ropes in the beautiful maple tree in our front yard.
