While here you’ll have private access to the entire home. Comfortably accommodating 8 guests in 3 bedrooms plus a pull out sleeper. The master bedroom is on the main level of the home and is fitted with a queen-size bed and a walk-in closet. Here, you’ll find a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, dresser and closet.

The lower level accommodates another four guests, two of which can sleep in the secondary bedroom. The secondary bedroom features a queen-size bed, dresser and closet. An additional queen size sleeper sofa is available in the living room on the lower level. On the lower level, guests have access to another full bathroom. This home is located in Olds, a thriving community known for its agriculture, college, sports teams, and small town charm. While here, visit the brewery, the Olds College WetLands, Mayfair Cinema, “Archie” the tank, cross-country ski trails, and fine dining. If you’re here for an extended stay be sure to take a one hour drive west to the Rocky Mountains where you can find the famous wild horses, fly fish pristine rivers, or book a scenic trail ride. The bathroom is shared with one other room, kept clean and well-maintained.

We bought our house in 2005 and have made many changes to it since.  One of them being the 500 ft.² guest suite. It features its own entrance, full kitchen, full bathroom, cozy bedroom and living room areas. It sits on a well manicured double lot and is attached to the main house in the heart of Didsbury, on a beautiful tree-lined street. It is walking distance to the shops of Main Street and our beloved cafés as well as a grocery store. Built in 1940, it is a house of many stories.

The space
The suite accommodates four guests, with one queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Playpen, high chair and toys available for little ones by request. (An air mattress can be made available, or bring your own, if you need to squeeze in an extra sleeping spot. Just let us know.)

Walk into the main foyer of the main house and take your shoes off in a trendy entrance and go through to your private space. The bedroom has high end everything - from top of the line mattress and linens to blackout curtains and private thermostat. Walk out into the hallway with a coat rack, bench, and mirror to check yourself out on the way out the door. In the spa-like bathroom you'll find a heated slate floor with a large standing shower scented with real eucalyptus sprigs, high end linens, and a beautiful vanity. Relax in the main room on the large cuddler couch in front of the fireplace and TV, or stretch out on the day bed. Play with the included board games and puzzles while sipping a hot beverage from the complimentary breakfast bar or pull a cold one out of the mini fridge. The Kitchenette includes a dining table, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee pot, and some complimentary drinks and snacks. Everything you could want or need has been thought of.

You will be staying in the upstairs main level of the home. I live part time in the basement suite. Very spacious 1500 sq ft with three spacious bedrooms, open concept kitchen/living area, bathroom with large shower, workout/sun room, in suite laundry, private deck and fire pit.
The home is right in town yet very private with a large yard. If you’re lucky, the resident deer may even come for a visit!

While here you’ll have private access to the entire home. Comfortably accommodating 8 guests in 3 bedrooms plus a pull out sleeper. The master bedroom is on the main level of the home and is fitted with a queen-size bed and a walk-in closet. Here, you’ll find a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, dresser and closet.


The lower level accommodates another four guests, two of which can sleep in the secondary bedroom. The secondary bedroom features a queen-size bed, dresser and closet. An additional queen size sleeper sofa is available in the living room on the lower level. On the lower level, guests have access to another full bathroom. Additionally, there are two inflatable mattresses available if your group is larger than 8. Surcharges of $35 / guest / night apply for guests over 8.

This home is located in Olds, a thriving community known for its agriculture, college, sports teams, and small town charm. While here, visit the brewery, the Olds College WetLands, Mayfair Cinema, “Archie” the tank, cross-country ski trails, and fine dining. If you’re here for an extended stay be sure to take a one hour drive west to the Rocky Mountains where you can find the famous wild horses, fly fish pristine rivers, or book a scenic trail ride. Whatever your passion, we are the gateway to it all!

Our beautiful Red Deer River Cabin meets the criteria of a peaceful, satisfying stay in the heart of Alberta! With numerous amenities and breathtaking views of the Red Deer River, you are sure to get a taste of the "Mountain Aire" when you book a stay in this stylish get-away home. Please note that this location is remote, requires some driving on gravel and is a 3 hour drive to Banff National Park.

The space
This cabin includes a functional kitchen, an extensive dining room area, a comfortable living room with ample seating, an upper loft for relaxing, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large deck with a full-sized Bar-B-Que, a dining patio set, an outdoor area with a custom Mountain-Aire fire pit, along with exceptional views of the river and the famous bridge to adventure.

Other things to note
Additional people (over 10 guests) may be approved for a small fee. There is a minimum 3-night stay, the cleaning fee is included in nightly rates, and pets are allowed upon approval (for a small fee).

Please Note: Our Facility is a large campground with cabins, rooms, and campsites. We are located 2 hours from the Calgary airport and about a 3 hour drive to Banff. We are on the opposite side of Banff on the eastern slopes of the same mountain range. We recommend spend a few days at Mountain Aire where it is a much more peaceful and quiet atmosphere and then spend time in Banff where the pace is much higher and a lot more of a tourist area.
