On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. After he had gone we found one of the showers could nit be used as a shoer as the holder for the shower was missing. One of the sockets where the standard lamp wasnt working, neither was the kettle. We had to boil the water in the microwave. The other standard lamp was leaning and fell over when you tried to move it nearer to you. A blind was missing. The cups were all chipped. The only good thing was the beds were comfotable and the room was warm."

House from 1937 at the end of a global renovation, the rented room has been well renovated and insulated, as well as the bathroom and toilet.

This is my primary residence, I live there year-round.

The house is in a quiet area close to the city center, which is a 10-minute walk, the cathedral is 15 minutes away and Chartres train station is 20 minutes away. The city bus also passes in front of the house.

The space
As a guest, you will have a cozy 9 m² room with storage as well as an upstairs landing with a desk (the landing is perfectly livable, the walls have just not yet been repainted following the complete renovation of the electricity, hence the visible wall bleeds in the photos).

The room faces the garden, with a view of the garden (see photo).

The bed is very comfortable, with a recent mattress. It measures 140 x 200.

The house is entirely non-smoking.

We will share the bathroom, toilet and dining room, which are on the ground floor (However the bedroom is upstairs).

The kitchen is also available to guests with all the necessities. You can use the food in the fridge and cupboards, subject to replacing them during your stay.
