Be advised you do need passable French to make things easier but if you are off to France guys it’s the least you can do!!" - "Stayed for a single night while returning from the French Alps to the UK. On arrival we had to telephone to facilitate access, but once in we were very pleasantly surprised by the property. It is unattended and so we were given the keys and came and went as we pleased. It has a very arty feel to the building and it is furnished with many interesting objects which made for many conversations. It is well situated for Provins Medieval Town and also the lower town with several restaurants nearby. We parked our car o the road immediately outside the property which was free. Breakfast was served at the time of asking in the morning. It's not your usual hotel, but made for a very pleasant stay and we will certainly consider coming back for a future visit."

- "We stayed at this lovely apartment in Provins for three days, and we really wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. It is in an updated ancient building that may have been part of the cathedral complex and housed chanoines - not sure. It is very clean and pleasantly decorated in warm grays and whites, with a splash of yellow. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable. There is a bunk bed and a pull out couch, as well. The apartment is centrally located just at the transition between the lower city and the upper medieval city. There is a beautiful raised garden right across the street that is in plain view of the living room. It allows you to go into town (down hill) for your food supplies at local boulangeries and a petite Monoprix (well stocked), while also being very close to the museum, Tour de César, quaint shops, place, cafés, and restaurants. Parking is immediate and easy. Hugo is super friendly and very good at communication. We loved it!"

Its location between the upper town with its UNESCO World Heritage monuments and the lower town with its small shops is ideal. Walks, medieval shows, cultural and taste discoveries await you!

Around Provins: Paris and Troyes are 1 hour away and Disney is 50 minutes away.

The space
Very well equipped, you will enjoy the kitchen, Wi-Fi, a TV that has a Netflix and Prime subscription, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, as well as a breakfast area with Tassimo coffee machine, tea and madeleines and other treats.
The upstairs attic bedroom has a very comfortable 160/200 bed.

Guest access
Access to the apartment is totally self-contained thanks to a code and a key box.

Located just 15 minutes walk from the SNCF and bus station, access is very easy.

To park, you will find almost all the time on the street of the apartment or on the free parking which is on the street just above.
WARNING FROM JULY TO OCTOBER: The street of the accommodation is under construction from July to October. It is therefore not possible to take Rue Saint Thibault by car during this period.

You will find parking just above the apartment in the Rue du Palais, just in front of the Lycée Thibault de Champagne. (100 meters walk from the accommodation)
You will then need to take the steps of the Grimpon du Porc-épic to find the front door of the Logis.

If the parking lot is full, you can try to park in the free parking lot on Rue Sainte-Croix. You will then need to walk about 7 minutes to access the accommodation.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

The accommodation is in the climb of the Epic Pork. This quaint and atypical location makes all the charm of the accommodation, but the steps and cobblestones of the medieval city complicate access for strollers and armchairs.

Other things to note
Small pets are allowed in the apartment but they won't have access to the floor or the sofa.
Don't forget to mention your companion when booking, a supplement of €5 will be added corresponding to insurance and additional cleaning costs.

Come and discover Provins and spend a peaceful time in this semi-underground F1 on the ground floor very close to the train station at the gate to the city center and the upper town. The apartment is located in a small private residence with optional but free parking in a very quiet area on the ground floor. Basic necessities provided as well as bed linen and shower. Our room is located in our pretty house with green garden. It is ideally located 2 minutes' walk from Provins train station, and 5 minutes' walk from the city center and all its amenities. A space is available to park your vehicle upon request.

The room is 16 m² and access to the shared bathroom is very easy.
