My only comment is that the unit smelled of cigarettes. As a smoker myself, I make sure to look for accommodations with a balcony where smoking is allowed only on the balcony with the door closed so the unit doesn’t not smell. I would recommend staying here if you want to be within walking distance of the Dubai Mall and if you’re not sensitive to the smell of cigarettes in your living area. "

Please note that Dubai has applicable Tourism Dirham charges for all guests staying in apartments, resorts, and hotels. Any such applicable charges may be collected upon arrival at a rate of 10 AED per night per bedroom (~ 4 USD). Also, since 1 January 2018, all rates are subject to a UAE Government VAT rate of 5%. - "We stayed for a week in January, and would happily stay again. First, regarding the location it takes you a day or two to get oriented as the complex is at the north east end of the JBR walk. I won't name the complex, but you can also figure it out from the outdoor pictures. There is a nice high-end supermarket - Grandiose -, along with a Carrefour located steps away. The courtyard area is great for children and is away from traffic, etc. Once on the JBR Walk, you are steps away from Cafe Bateel and a variety of other Cafe's and eateries. The beach is 15 mins away, where you will also find an Arabica (highly recommended). I would also like to mention stopping at nearby "Bake My Day - Dutch Bakery" where you can get some delicious Moroccan dishes. As to the unit itself, we found the beds very comfortable, and the unit quite spacious as advertised. We did run into some hot water issues at times, and also the pressure could have been greater. We did not use the Tubs as it would have taken some time to fill, and did not seem so sturdy. It would have been nice also to have some flatscrees in both of the Main bedrooms, so that others would not be disturbed during late night viewing. The kitchen was nice, but I would suggest getting rid of the non-stick pans, which were showing wear and scratches. A stainless steel set would have been preferable. Also, a real espresso machine would be a nice addition. Thank you."

- "I've spent a few days trying to organize how I speak about my stay because I truly want to provide a comprehensive description of my experience. High level - it was perfect! As in, I do not have a single complaint (other than not being able to find the decadent shower gel available in the property, but I'm hopeful I'll eventually locate it!). Categories: Property: There were ladies on this trip to Dubai so we obviously want to have a very decadent vacation. This honestly felt like the most luxurious venue I have been to in my life! The 4 bedroom house has an elevator, is right on the beach, and is gorgeously decorated. We had access to every amenity imaginable and were located right beside the pool at the Five Hotel, in addition to our own property pool. Everything was spacious - wide, long balconies in every bedroom, glamorous bathroom fixtures, just loveliness. Even better than a hotel, we had access to both a butler and housekeeper to ensure our daily experience exceeded our expectations. Chami and Raj proactively assessed our needs, provided detailed descriptions of amenities, and made the entire checkin/checkout process painless. Any and every request was exceeded - I am in awe of the kindness that accompanied the execution. Five Hotel: Wonderfully decorated, trendy, modern hotel with a prime location on Palm Jumeirah. The hotel has a cool pool design and tasty restaurants (and currency exchange, vape store, etc.) that you'll have access to. Like all of Dubai, everyone is extremely polite and thoughtful. Communication with Host: Hands down, this was the best part of the stay. Bert and his team with Holiday Homes (Chami and Raj) are some of the kindest, most thoughtful, consummate professionals I have worked with in the entirety of the time I have been traveling. Due to another host failing, my group had to scramble to find another venue for our trip to Dubai. I booked very late at night, and Bert was up and available to walk me through the payment process and to connect me with his team. We toasted Bert every night, bc his place is just that amazing! Overall: Bert, Chami, and Raj all chose to be helpful and considerate and their demeanors catapulted our experience from awesome to priceless.
