The cabin was a little dated, some weak spots and unlevel floors, but was able to move around. The kids loved the loft. We made sure they were safe on the stair/ladder going up. Convict springs was literally right out the front door across a small field. The spring was beautiful. The kids swam so much the were sore the next day. The family is a little small but we had fun. The staff were so nice! The highlight of everything was meeting Pinky one their beautiful pigeons!!!! The birding here is top notch especially one the river. We saw 3 red shoulder hawks and heard numerous great horned owls. Also the gulf sturgeon jumping is so cool! We will be back! I want to canoe and fish next time!!!"

Beautiful parks and spring fed rivers and hiking / biking trails are close by. Cave divers and snorkeling at world renowned Ginnie Springs is 1 mile upriver. Canoe/kayak/float/swim/relax in the river and springs 100 feet from the cabin door.
The cabin is fully equipped with AC/heat, fridge, microwave and hotplate, all utensils and linens provided. The bathroom has toilet and shower. We have a comfy full size bed, DVD player, dvd's, games and books. Outside you will find a screened porch to watch the wildlife and birds. We have a bar-b-que and a fire pit. The hammock swings between two shady trees.
The gate from the cabin leads to a small, pristine spring right on the Santa Fe River.

A beautifully comfortable two-bedroom river home located on the Suwanee River and nestled among the trees. Enjoy charming views of the Historic Suwannee River, directly across from the Stephen Foster State Park. The stairs lead right down to the river's edge, providing the perfect place to relax and fish. Swimming is at your own risk. The spacious porch is ideal for a quiet afternoon or evening. - "Wow what a great piece of property! I loved how it was remote and quiet. It had a huge yard for the dog to run and lots of fun activities for my husband & I. The puppy loved swimming in the river and there's so many things to do nearby during the day. The cabin was very nicely remodeled and decorated. The only downside it was dirty. Lots of dust on surfaces & old food stains in microwave. The throw blankets on couch were stinky. But all of those things can be fixed and we'd love to come back! It was an awesome experience. We really enjoyed our stay."
