- "Perfect house with access to Lake Como for swimming. Mesmerising views and can walk into Varenna. Retreating back to Fiumelatte was fabulous as Varenna was very busy. - "Firstly may I say what an absolute gentleman Favio is. I booked the property a couple of years ago, to visit the Moto Guzzi 100 year anniversary with friends and family. Obviously with the Covid issues, it was delayed. Favio kept in constant communication, reassuring me all was well. On arriving at the villa in September 2022, we found a beautiful property, with views of the lake and the mountains to the rear. Favio met us, and showed us around the villa. Absolutely amazing. The villa was spotless, and the facilities were excellent. (I think it must have the best view from the loo that i have ever seen 😊) I must admit, we did find it a little difficult to locate when travelling back and forth on the motorcycles, but we finally got it😁. My family flew in a couple of days later, and were truly impressed with the property. The morning after we arrived, we found a large basket of grapes left on the table outside, and when my family arrived, we found that a basket of pastries had been left for us. It is little things like this that really make an impression. The walk down to the train station is a little bit of a hike, and taxis are scarce, so transport may be advisable..., we used the motorcycles to shuttle the family back from the station when we returned from the Moto Guzzi rally. Did I mention the garage..huge, and very secure. Happy to leave our bikes in there. All in all a superb property and a fantastic host. Not overbearing, but was there when you needed him. No complaints whatsoever. (A word of advice though.. PARKING:
There is no private parking at the property, but the little town has plenty of free public parking throughout. Depending on the time of day you may find one very close to the house, or a short walk away, at most a few hundred yards.
It has never been an issue for our guests.

FOOD/DINING:
This is a self-catering property - you will need to bring your own provisions or eat out.

Brienno is a very small town - it only has one great pizzeria and one upscale restaurant. However, in the town next door, Argegno, there is a lovely bakery, a small fruit/vegetable store, and a small grocery store.
For supermarkets, we recommend the Bennet supermarket in Como, or a good mid-sized supermarket in Lenno, both about 15 minutes away.
Mon-Thurs 7.30 am to 9 am there is a food truck with bread, cheeses, cold cuts, etc.

GETTING HERE:
The Milan airports are both 40 min away.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND RENTING A CAR because public transportation options are few and far between. No Uber or taxis. There are limited dining and grocery options within walking distance.

WHAT TO DO:
- Ideal a starting point for visiting the entire Lake region, with dozens of pretty towns.
- It is very close to Laglio (George Clooney's Villa) and to Cernobbio, with their fine restaurants.
- Boat-tours stop at the world-famous villas and their botanical gardens.
- Day trips to Como and Milan with their art and culture, restaurants, and shopping (designer outlets, silk scarves, and ties) are a must.

- "We had such an amazing stay, absolutely loved having a balcony AND a terrace with perfect views of Lake Como and the charming tiny town of Brienno. There truly is no comparison with Brienno, it’s much sleepier than the busier touristy towns on the fabulous lake, yet has a lot of conveniences, like the morning food truck selling insanely cheap and delicious homemade bread, local cheeses and charcuterie! The best pizza we had in Italy was nearly next door and the fancier restaurant had incredible pasta. We loved the beach bar where we could get a perfect Cappuccino, soda, drink or snack and swim in the lake! The cottage itself has everything we required and was a perfect home base. We had steeled ourselves for the many stairs but truly they were not that bad! We had a bit of struggle with the trash (5 bins but only 2 with bags and a bit confusing for us) but the host was super quick and responsive and helped us get it right. Highly recommend this place. - "We staid at the wonderful penthouse apartment for a weekend. A family of 6 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The apartment is renovated in style with a complete kitchen (3 types of coffee makers :D) Gas stove, large refrigerator, dish-washer and so on. The apartment also has a washing machine, 2 high-chairs for the baby's, and toys for the children. Airconditioning is first class! The location is also superb. A few steps out the door and you are in the wonderful old town, full of restaurants and shops. The Lake is only a 3-5 minute walk away. For people with children the apartment comes fully equipped as stated before and there is a small supermarket about 100m from the apartment. This was our second time in Como, the first time we were at a hotel but next time this will be our top pick. Yellow Apartment is located in Lezzeno, the last romantic village that travelers encounter before arriving in Bellagio, where the three branches of Lake Como meet.

Lezzeno rises on the eastern branch of Lake Como and consists of 17 hamlets distributed along the coast at the foot of the mountains.

It is the ideal place to spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday thanks to a surprising and fascinating landscape with thousands of different shades of the lake water with blue and green color, with rocky hills covered with woods and with a fascinating naturalistic coast. There is also the possibility to practice water sports, at 500 meters, at the International Center for water skiing and wakeboarding or mountain sports such as trekking and hiking.

The house where the apartment is located has an agile covered external staircase that allows you to reach the first and second / last floor.
The staircase ends where the covered terrace of "Appartamento Giallo" begins.
On the terrace you can sit to enjoy the suggestive views of Lake Como and receive the fresh mountain breeze.

The apartment is on the second and last floor of a house of only 3 floors / apartments, surrounded by 4 balconies and 1 terrace overlooking Lake Como and its mountains. Completely renovated a few years ago.

Next to the property there is a free private parking and on request the possibility of a space to store bicycles or small objects.

It is a bright apartment of 50 square meters and consists of a double bedroom with wardrobe and bedside tables, of a bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet, sink with mirror and washing machine and of an open space with a large kitchen, dining area for 4 people and a relaxation area with a double sofa bed.

In the apartment WI-FI, sat TV with free channels, towels, sheets and blankets are available and included in the price. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, a dishwasher, 4 gas burners, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans.

A few steps away there are 1 MiniMarket open from Monday to Saturday, 1 bar open every day, the public beach with shower, 4 restaurants and pizzerias, the bus stop (line C30) that connects the villages from Bellagio to Como and 10 minutes walk there is the pier with boats to reach authentic villages rich in history and wonder.

I personally welcome the guests from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (in case of delay, contact me) and I offer information for a pleasant stay I am also available, if requested, for restaurant reservations, boat rentals, excursions or any other need.

The tourist tax of € 1 per person per day up to a maximum of 7 days is excluded from the price. Children up to 7 years are exempt. If necessary, the heating cost of € 1,5 per cubic meter is also excluded. The apartment has an independent methane gas system.

The property is ideal (very clean, modern upgrades, and everything you need) and in a great location to explore the Lake Como area. Market for groceries and bars and restaurants are within a short walk. If you have a rental car like we did, the parking at the property was great, with Bellagio only a short 10 minute drive away. If you don’t there is a bus stop on the main road about a 2 minute walk from the apartment and the bus runs very frequently. In Bellagio we found ample free parking about a 15 Minute walk from ferry dock to take you all over the lake area. Lezzeno is a quiet escape from the tourist bustle of Bellagio and a great place to stay. Our only regret is that we wish we would have stayed longer to fully appreciate everything this area has to offer."
