The main road from Lecco to Bellagio is behind the cottage, please expect some car noise during the night or traffic hours.

NATURE: We are only a few meters from the lake, so running into insects (spiders, moisture-loving bugs) is normal. We do what we can during cleaning, but if you have problems with this kind of fauna we recommend another type of accommodation.

PARKING: is directly in front of the cottage entrance and is private in an area where none can be found. You must remove the chain after retrieving the keys from the safe deposit box.

Possibility of using the ferry (Oliveto Lario and Onno stop a few minutes walk away) and buses connecting Lecco and Bellagio (always Onno stop).

He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. The location is fantastic and the private parking spot is super handy. We spent many evenings on the pier just staring at the lake. Overall the garden and the pier gave you a sense of privacy and uniqueness that one can rarely find on vacation. The inside of the house was also very cozy, and the wooden structure keeps it nice and fresh. Would definitely recommend for a vacation with a partner or with a few friends! - "Torno offered us a quiet place to stay while we enjoyed Lake Como. Amazing lake views from one bedroom & the bathroom. The trickiest part for us was locating the garage space since it’s on the main road a bit down from the walkway which leads up to the actual property. GPS did not work well for us, but with the pictures from Giuseppe, we finally figured it out. We drove the car up to a small parking lot 2 doors down from the house to drop off the luggage and get the keys (need one for the garage). Then drove back down to the garage with the key. Did the reverse for check out. The road in front of the house is VERY narrow. There’s a great take-away pizza place 2 minutes from the house and a few cute restaurants down by the lake. The dock for the ferry to Bellagio and other parts of the lake was a 7 minute walk down the hill. Easy to buy tickets at the dock (buy a round trip ticket so you don’t have to wait in the crazy lines at Como or Bellagio). It was very warm during our visit, but thankfully it cooled off during the night so open windows let us enjoy the view and get a breeze. It was a little difficult to keep the second bedroom shutters open at night because of the neighborhood lights, but we needed them open for the air flow. Owner provided fans, which were lifesavers."

The Castle Cottage was originally the stables to Rezzonico Castle and has been beautifully converted into a cool, contemporary cottage house with rustic touches.
The ground floor has an open plan living area with a dining and kitchen space, all fully equipped. Two large glass sliding doors open up the ground floor to the terrace and garden making it a cool and comfortable space for entertaining.
The living area is furnished with grey slate floors, white walls and tastefully decorated with comfortable soft furnishings. There is a sofa bed that will sleep two children or adults.
Outside you have plenty of entertaining space for dining al-fresco with a glorious lake view by day and by night. By night the garden can be lit by the numerous lanterns dotted around the garden.
Leading up from the living space is an open staircase that takes you up to the master bedroom and bathroom. A large white comfortable bed prettily lit by lamps and candelabras takes centre place in the room. The bedroom has its own terrace and overlooks the large cottage style garden and you also have fabulous lake views too!
The bathroom is fully equipped having a large shower and being freshly decorated in green and white.
The Castle Cottage is a wonderfully equipped property with special historical importance, glorious lake views and private lake access too!

There is nothing between the patio and the lake other than a wide expanse of lawn sprinkled with flowers, a vegetable garden and little flower beds against stone outcroppings. At the bottom of the hill, there's a key hanging from an olive tree which unlocks the gate to the rocky beach. All of this is within the outer walls of the castle. The tall inner castle walls provide privacy for the owner. Within the shadow of the Castle is a restaurant, a pizzeria and a small, well-stocked grocery store. Stroll this beautiful village and follow the Antica Strada Regina toward Menaggio. Imagine others walking these steps over two thousand years ago."

Trips back and forth were not possible for us in the heat so we had to make sure we had everything and couldn’t really go home for a rest midday. We expected more taxis to be available, but we struggled to find one on a regular basis. Even with the stair challenge, our family was so happy to have this lovely cottage to enjoy our week in Bellagio. I should add that there is a large, gated courtyard where our children could run around freely. Thank you again!"

[SCIA1356] The Larch is a welcoming and spacious chalet, ideal for those who want a stay in total relaxation. Completely immersed in nature, in these places still wild and luxuriant. From the top of Mount San Primo, from the woods surrounding the chalet, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The house is on two levels, on the ground floor a large entrance with a staircase leading to the upper floor where there is immediately a large and very bright living area with large windows overlooking the lake and the mountains, from here the entrance the apartment. Inside another warm and welcoming sitting room with fireplace, two sofas, TV. The spacious fully equipped kitchen, with large solid wood dining table. A double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub. Very easy to reach us from Bellagio by car passing through Civenna, Piano Rancio and following the signs for the Martina refuge.
