The house is located in a very private and spacious spot.
The Mezzanine has a floor of precious wood and a king size bed. A double bed plus a single sofa-bed in the living room. Both double beds are made in bamboo with natural kapok mattresses that will enhance your sleep. The single bed is in teak. There was even a printer which was very helpful... in the evening we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and looking out over the countryside. The house is surrounded by greenery and is located in a very quiet place with goats and cows nearby.
Happily positioned in the heart of Gallura it allows you to easily reach its beautiful beaches and to access its archaeological sites and cultural interest. The house has a front terrace and a back with an outdoor shower. Another terrace is located in a wonderful corner where you can see the sea and wonderful sunsets.
The house has a small kitchen with fridge and freezer, kitchen with 4 burners, kettle, toaster, microwave oven and electric oven.
The living room has a large room with a mezzanine, the double bed is located below, there is a reserved area with table, sofa and bookcase without forgetting the television and a radio.
The bathroom is small but functional with toilet, bidet, sink and bathtub with shower.
At the bottom of the land, there is a fenced park for animals, 2 goats (very monelle :)) and hens.
The property is large with many oak trees, olive trees, myrtle and many plants (aloe, rosemary, ...) The house is located 5/6 kilometers from the famous beach of rena majore and its small town where there are bars, grocery stores and a pizzeria restaurant, the village is also equipped with a sports center with swimming pool ..
If you are looking for tranquility and endless beaches, I recommend the beach of Monte Russu also located a few kilometers (8/9) from the property. - "Angelica is a caring host, very friendly. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities that you need. There are 3 places to sit outside, but at 2 of those we were bitten by the mosquitoes. The place near the rock with views of the sea, and the sunset was the nicest . The general area is very beautiful. Monti Russu Beach is the most beautiful beach we have ever visited, very clear and blue water, nice and sandy beach. When you take a small walk you can find a quiet place there. Rena Majore is a nice small town with a supermarket, shops and bars and restaurants. Many thanks Angelica."

There is a beautiful inner court yard ,a large covered terrace and a huge outside terrace with warm shower. The property is approx. 5000 square meter big and fenced with a natural hedge. In the kitchen there is an old, well working Sard oven, in which you can bake bread or Pizza or grill fish. 2 bicycles are available. The night sky is overwhelmingly beautiful, one sees the Milky Way very clearly, since there is no light pollution. There is a fire-place to heat the sleeping room, also mobile gas heating is available. Two more beds in a separate room for 2 more guests. The cottage is furnished with ethnic furnitures. Distance to the Sea is about 2.5 km and the next beach 4.5 km.

Further information about the furnishings: The 2nd room is connected to the bedroom with a door. In addition, there is a storage room for bikes and more. The house is located in an old typical sardinian agricultural area (vineyards, lemon and orange groves, vegetable cultivation etc but there are also many 'wheat' fields, which are no longer used.) There are a few more houses in the area, of which some are rented out in the summer. The nearest neighbour is about 100 metres away. The house belongs to the carpenter of the village.

Guests comments : The house is beautiful and absolutely deserves the title of romantic villa. The terrace is a dream, and the other rooms are very lovingly decorated, and even the refrigerator was filled for us that was totally nice and the kitchen was excellent, it wasn't missing anything. It was brilliant that there were two bicycles which we always used to get bread, or just for a trip by bicycle to the beach. Those that like to stay calm and like seclusion then this is just right. I would stay there any time, especially when traveling as a group where nobody bothers you and others do not feel disturbed, which is perfect, and you enjoy your holiday.The choice of beaches in the area is excellent. The cottage sits high on a hill with wonderful views in seven hectares of land which it shares with two other houses, out of sight of one another. It consists of two separate blocks, one bedroom and bathroom divided from the main body of the cottage by a few steps and a semi inclosed furnished veranda which incorporates the open plan living room/kitchen and larger bedroom with bathroom. Outside the whole front and side of the house is a stone patio with covered verandas. It has been built by the owner with many windows, wooden floors and natural plaster finish. It has a beautiful garden with rocks, wild olive trees, aloe, etc. The property is reachable by car and the last km of the road is unsurfaced and can be rough especially on the last 400mt.
Best suitable for SUV , 4x4 or cars with a good ground clearance.

This is a new cottage, built by the owners with a great deal of care to construction details and interior design to fit in the natural landscape, just finished in 2019.

You do need a car but you are only 5 mins from Fertilia and 10 mins from Alghero with a huge choice of quality restaurants. There are lots of activities, scenic drives and good beaches nearby. We loved our short break and would have no hesitation returning to this property. In terms of improving it for future renters then having the option to borrow some bikes would have been good. "

One km from the beautiful beach of Plagemesu, reachable on foot (the road has a bike path) is my house, surrounded by a large garden of grassy lawn, flower beds, palm trees, oleanders and an olive grove. A small country house for a couple with 2 children. Quiet, somewhat hidden, by the river, huge garden with a very large and 180 cm to 100 cm deep pool. (The round part has only 30cm water depth, so ideal for small children) This is not visible from the houses behind bushes and is also used by the guests of my 2nd Country house used on my 10000 sqm plot. (This has 1 bedroom) Two sandy beaches can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Bar and small market also 10 minutes away.
Some neighbors in the distance. No visual contact from the cottage to their houses.
Please keep in mind that on the property there is another cottage for a couple. You divide the pool and the lawn with them. But as the property is very generous everyone has his own space.
Two rooms, a covered outdoor terrace for dining, living and cooking. Well kept garden and lawn, but lots of wild nature around.
The living room is open, which means roofed but exposed to the wind. This also means that when the wind blows, leaves and flowers can be blown into this area. You live here in the countryside surrounded by nature. Dust and spider web can form quickly. Please do not book the country house if you are very sensitive. The croaking of the frogs should not disturb them, nor the chirping of the crickets and geckos on the walls. I am writing this in so much detail because we already had complaints about it. ;-)
