There are no cars on the island. You can walk or use a habal-habal (motorbike) for a small fee.

This quiet and simple house, self-contained in water and electricity allows you to visit Cabilao and Bohol immersed in Filipino island life.
Our house offers several bedrooms, an outdoor barbecue, an open kitchen and a terrace for your stay. Fiber is installed and there are several offices, perfect for working with a view of the sea.
Beautiful snorekelling spots are right in front of the house, ideal for observing benches of sardines, corals and turtles!

The space
We are self-sufficient in water and electricity. There's no running water on the island, so we get the rainwater we filter. It is not unlimited, but part of the rent is provided for you to refill it in case of a dry period.
We are also self-sufficient in electricity, Cabilao's electricity grid is not always reliable. We are equipped with 3kW of solar panels and 4 batteries to ensure a continuous supply of electricity day and night for normal daily use (no problem for tv, computers, fans...).

The house is quite secluded, there are not many tourists in the area. So the locals are very nice and welcoming and will be happy to connect with us or help you out.
There is no supermarket on the island, be sure to shop before coming. However, on the island you will find several fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, meats and fish) as well as some small side grocery stores.

The house is intended primarily for guests who want a different experience from the Philippines. You will have less comfort in this home than in a resort, but the setting is beautiful and quiet. You will not share the house with other visitors, and our employee will be there to welcome you and assist you during your stay.

We will also be able to recommend local guides if you wish to do "Island Hopping" in this part of Bohol.

You will have exclusive access to the house (3 bedrooms, a living room open to the kitchen, a bathroom, a balcony and a terrace) on the first, a covered terrace with toilets, tables, chairs and barbecue on the ground floor as well as the garden and the beach. A washing machine is also present on the ground floor with a hanging rack under the solar panels.

To get to our house from Tagbilaran:
- Go to Cogon Terminal and take a jeepney to the port of Sandingan (terminus, 65php/person).
- Once at the port of Sandingan, ask the boats to go to Cambaquiz, the house of "Mam Yang". The crossing takes about 10 minutes and they will drop you off on the beach in front of the house. Our employee will be waiting for you there and will give you the keys and visit.

The guesthouse has 4 separate rooms on 2 floors with private shower room/toilet and balcony/terrace as well as small shared kitchen. At the main house is the swimming pool. Direct access to the sea by a hit. Ideal for snorkeling, kayak with glass floor available for rent.

It is inspired by a modern Bahay Kubo with local materials made of bamboo called Amakan. This house is brand new complete with all modern amenities.

It is located in the main town proper of Loon Bohol, 5 minutes to local churches, market place, 10 minutes to a local beach and public swimming pool.

During your stay, you’ll have full access to the entire compound—including the house, spacious decks, and beautifully maintained gardens. For your comfort and security, our trusted caretaker resides just outside the gated entrance, ensuring your privacy and safety at all times.

Firefly Villa is quietly tucked 200 meters away from Bohol’s main highway, offering both convenience and tranquility. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the nearest point where you can catch a local taxi to nearby markets and restaurants. Though close to the road, the house remains peaceful, free from the noise of passing traffic.

This main highway provides easy access to many of Bohol’s top tourist attractions: the iconic Chocolate Hills (which turn brown only during summer), the Tarsier Sanctuary, Loboc River Cruise, historic churches, the white sand beaches of Panglao, and dolphin-watching tours to Pamilacan Island.

We’re located 22 kilometers north of Tagbilaran City, about a 30-minute drive. If you’re flying in or out of Bohol–Panglao International Airport, the commute takes roughly one hour.

For guests with private vehicles, we offer a secure two-car garage. If needed, we’re happy to assist with arranging car rentals, vans with drivers, or taxis—all at affordable local rates.

The Library is full of books about Oceans and the Pacific, we would love you to enjoy them and just return them before you leave to ensure the next guests can enjoy them.
For guests with children, we have cribs and toys available in the house for you to use.

The house is based within a local fishing village. You may even be able to buy some extremely fresh-caught fish right in front of the house, or for the more adventurous go for a snorkel in the coral garden in front of the Villa.
