- "The room is a disappointment. The pungent smell of the drainage in the room near the kitchen greets you as you open the door. The general appearance of the unit is fair. Very used sofa and beddings. The masters bathroom is locked and not usable leaving us with 1 decent full bathroom and a dirty small bathroom in the maid's room which was counted as a 3rd room and is not livable. Too hot with no windows with a big faucet in the room. This is the area where the bad smell is coming from. We did not use it. The concierge people are not helpful. Very judgmental and rude. We were prohibited to wait in the lobby while we were on the process of checking in and waiting for final procefures to finish. We were told to go outside to sit in the patio chairs while we wait, though there are available seats inside because the lady staff told us " it was crowded". We received no assistance or help when we encountered a problem in checking in. There are a few staff who were kind enough to assist our 3 senior companions who i intended to give a comfortable stay in a goodlooking condo building. There was not even a welcome bottled water provided. Nor any free drink - a can of soda or 2. Overall it was a bad stay. The only nice thing was the pool that my elderly mom enjoyed. Our 1st time here it was a disappointment.ALETHA🇺"

- "Location was perfect" - "The experience was ok. The hotel was just plain in everything. Don't expect for any fancy for a cheap price because it really just a basic place to stay. basic bed and basic amenities. " - "It is a cheap hotel but first impressions weren't too bad. However, no toilet seat and flushing the toilet using a bucket was not quite what I was expecting. I also should have remembered that cheap Philippine hotels have no hot water but there was no shower head, just a tap and the aforementioned bucket + a bailer so getting clean was done by filling the bucket and throwing water around. Inside, the stairwell was having it's tiles replaced so it felt like a building under construction as I climbed the stairs. The real killer started the first morning. The third floor room overlooked Jaro Market. And at 4.30am, a boombox down in the market started thumping out killing any hope of the rest of a good night's sleep. I asked if I could be moved away from the noise but the only option was a room with no windows which felt even worse. I made the mistake of opening a dried fruit snack one evening and not finishing it. The ants appreciated the snack though but they were no match for the insect killer I bought in a nearby supermarket. The hotel did have cable TV but the picture and sound quality left a bit to be desired. And the real crunch in this day and age was that the promised internet connection didn't connect. Sorry, it doesn't work, I was told. Because I got a good rate, I could not cancel. I moved out as soon as the reservation expired."

The minimalist room has a clean, bright, airy feel. This is perfect for couples or guests who wants a secure place for their luggage, get a shower before heading out and discover the city..then come back home to sleep in a safe area which is no more than 15 minutes (cab) ride from all the major attractions of Iloilo city. Extra occupants are fairly charged.

Please feel free to inquire about our much bigger room setup as we have other units available for both short-term and long-term rentals.

The space
Shown in photos is the 2-Bed guest room, which is about the size of a modest hotel room. It comes with basic amenities (AC, Wi-Fi.. TV if you like but it can be cramped) but we do not have a refrigerator (yet.. still evaluating this amenity). This room is ideal for those who are only visiting the city for a tour or short-term stay and would mostly want to have a safe, clean accommodation with ample space for a third guest (we'll charge a minimum fee for the third person).

There are other rooms, which are much bigger that can accommodate 4-6 people but these are semi-furnished units. We are very flexible on arrangements that will suit our guest needs appropriately. We just need to make sure that we clearly set guidelines and expectations for our would-be guests. Please do not hesitate to inquire further... There is no charge for asking :)

Guest access
The room can be accessed separately from our main living area so there should not be any problems. However, since the path to the guest room passes in front of our main door, we would appreciate a bit of discretion and hushed voices especially late at night.

During your stay
My parents are old and they stay home most of the day. They will appreciate your conversation even though they are both hard at hearing. We should be able to show you or tell you guys about the areas where to get your basic needs as well as the key attractions in the city. The house is within a 3-km raidus maybe 5-km at most, of all the sights and happening places in Iloilo.

This is a Private Aircon Room with two bunk beds & pull out beds perfect for up to 8 pax. Bookings with more than 8 pax will be given 2 private rooms. The house has fast and unlimited wifi access.
