- "Wij hadden 's ochtends op de dag van aankomst via sms aangegeven hoe laat wij bij de beheerder zouden zijn. Zij stond ons al op te wachten en reed voor ons uit naar de accommodatie. Zij wees ons waar alles te vinden was. De hulp van haar Engels sprekende dochter was welkom. De accommodatie was precies zoals gepresenteerd op de site van Topic Travel: ruim, licht, prachtig uitzicht, vrijwel van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis ligt net in het wijngebied, heeft aan de ene zijde zicht op de Apennijnen en aan de andere zijde zicht (over de eerste heuvels heen) op de Po-vlakte en bij helder weer zelfs de Alpen. Dorpje Ziano heeft een fijne, relaxte atmosfeer en heeft de belangrijkste voorzieningen. Mooi vertrekpunt voor bezoek aan steden en dorpen in de omgeving. Jammer dat de ramen op de bovenverdieping geen horren hebben, dat bemoeilijkte het ventileren zonder binnenlaten van vliegen en wespen, tenzij er een flinke bries stond. Zeer veel privacy en aan alle kanten van het huis ruimte en zon/schaduw om te zitten. Eén maal een zeer flinke regenbui gehad, in combinatie met de harde wind zorgde dat voor binnendringing van water, dus dat was even dweilen."

The Family Farm "Il Casale del Sapere e del Sapore" is located in the hills closest to the Po river, near Piacenza in one of the most renowned vineyards of Italy, right in the middle of the Padana Valley, next to the Po river.
It takes less than one hour to reach at least 5 major historical towns (Milano, Piacenza, Pavia, Lodi,Cremona) and the Ligure sea is less than an hour and a half away.
The Farm house, where the apartment is located, has been build in 1894 and has been restructured to keep the colors and shapes of the old Italian country houses.

The space
It is located on a hill, about 400 meters high, in an agricultural area in the province of Piacenza. It is surrounded by woods, partly cultivated fields and partially uncultivated and vineyards. The village is largely made up of uninhabited houses because the people left the countryside and moved to the city. The last 600 mt. of the access road to the house are not asphalted.
It's a hunting area so you can see roe deer, wild boars, hares, pheasants. It is a quiet home, immersed in nature, away from the noise of big cities. You can relax and sip a glass of homemade homemade wine from our vineyard.
A car is essential, from which you can visit numerous medieval villages with castles and characteristic markets. The best known are Bobbio, Grazzano Visconti, Castellarquato, Vigoleno. Not far from even Salò Maggiore's ancient spa town and wellness center.
There are many opportunities to walk around the area, especially in the historic towns of the Po Valley river such as Piacenza, Cremona or Pavia, or in the Apennine mountains. For swimming there are two swimming pools 10 km away.
During the summer there are several festivals in the various countries in the area where you can enjoy genuine food and listen to music.
The house is small but comfortable. You can eat outdoors and in the small garden terrace enjoy the wonderful sunsets and the starry sky. Ideal for a couple of lovers. Ther'is internet .
