Other than that the appartment was good, it had a kitchinet and a washer machine (no dryer, shame we got wet under the rain and had no way to dry our clothes). The other issue was the swimming pool. They include a swimming pool picture and we thought it was part of the facility. The pool is by the beach, a few blocks away from the appartment. This is not a service included in the rental. "

We gathered on the terrace of the lower apartment for amazing views of the lake. The kitchen was very well equipped, enabling us to cook meals on several evenings. How wonderful to have A/C throughout - it was essential in the heatwave. The property manager Jennifer was incredibly responsive and very helpful making arrangements for us. We enjoyed walking down to the ferry (20 mins - longer on the way up!). The Convent exceeded expectations - highly recommended."

We wanted to spend a few days nearer to Como town and Cernobbio proved to be a cracking location and this apartment matched that. It was clean, well equipped and the air con was a blessing during the recent heat wave. Getting around was easy, relatively short walk to the lake shore and ferry to drop into Como. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and places to chill-out. Our hostess Chris was fantastic! Unlike many other spots at the lake it had A/C in each room and the living room, the whole place felt modern, taken care of and the furniture and decor made it feel like the perfect place to enjoy Lake Como. I especially enjoyed using the binoculars to observe the lake, towns and moon. You’ll definitely need a car to get here and go down into town, the curves can be a bit adventurous at first but after driving up and down a few times it becomes second nature and fun! Location is amazing, Cernobbio has so much to offer and you’re only a 10 minute drive away from Como. Veronica and the Rent team were attentive, kind and quick to respond. We felt like a part of this small town, the neighbors are locals and were all really friendly. The church nearby is gorgeous, there are hikes, pasta classes and so many other things we wouldn’t have discovered had we not stayed here. The trash system needs to be learned and understood since it’s got so many colors and categories but this is the case everywhere in Italy due to their trash collection system. We strongly recommend it and would love to come back."

- "We ended up staying at this house and the property next door because of a electrical issue (a nuisance rather than a safety issue). Both were very nice properties with some features that were slightly different but overall you couldn't go wrong with, as Dr. Seuss would say, "House 1" or "House 2". We enjoyed the neighborhood and liked the fact that we could walk to and from town (good exercise on the way up the hill!) or take an exhilarating, but safe ride up and down the hairpin turns.
