- "The resort itself was beautiful and the hotel has excellent facilities; however, unfortunately the Reception staff are not very welcoming and it is difficult to get a hold of anyone by phone or email. We emailed the hotel to arrange pick up from the bus terminal. After a few days we had still not received any response so we emailed again. The hotel did not respond to either of our emails. I phoned the hotel the day before I was due to check in to try again to arrange pick up and complained about not receiving an email response to which the Receptionist insisted that they had emailed back and then hung up on me. Also they could have been more helpful in arranging a tour of the underground river when their tour operator was fully booked by informing us that we could have arranged for it ourselves even after we told them that this was the reason that we came to Palawan. However, the rest of the staff we experienced were very attentive and helpful."

- "My partner and I had a pretty unpleasant experience with this accommodation. A solid handful of the amenities listed in the description were nowhere to be found. The cleanliness was not up to par. The pool was unswimmable with its murky green waters. Their wifi only works within a close range of the front desk and all the rooms are quite far from it. There is also no access to any transportation except at exuberant rates. Very minimal food options all around and no kitchen access. If certain things had been made clear before our arrival/booking we would have had a different outlook. Luckily the other resorts close by were very helpful and helped us get back to town after one night into our 4 night stay. After trying to negotiate a refund because of the blatant omission of facts and overall lack of amenities the owner was having none of it and refused everything. Even to help us get back to the city."

- "Fight Club Philippines is the newest, upcoming center to train and to relax. It is nestled in the secluded mountains just north of Puerto Princesa. Beyond the training, the resort is well manicured, an excellent restaurant, infinity pool, games room, and massage facilities. If you've been to the island of Palawan, you'll know that there are rolling black outs and internet connectivity issues. BUT NOT AT FIGHT CLUB PHILIPPINES. The facility has it's own power generator and Starlink internet. I've been able to get some computer work done in between training sessions. About the training, you'll have access to all equipment and be trained in boxing, kick boxing, and jujitsu. I am a beginner to these sports and the trainers were so great to cater to my skill. And not to forget about the friendly and accommodating staff members, always ready to get you what you need. In my opinion, it's great place to bring a group of like-minded friends to up your skill or to get some exercise on vacation."

The space
Next to my bamboo house is a bungalow house with shared room. It is a traditional Filipino house in the middle of passion fruit trees and palm trees. Its just around 15 minutes from the centre of Puerto Princesa, so you can get to know the local cultures and Filipino taste of living of people around here. My place is good for meditation, feeling free and relaxation. There are different places where you can sit together, eat and cook or just chill in one of six hammocks in my beautiful garden. For lovers of nature, arts and to reconnect within yourself this is the place to experience. Furthermore you can book tours and activities easily from here.
