- "Very beautiful property! We stayed in the tent for one night. Amazing view facing a stunning sunset and with a little creek running right in front of us. Tent was very clean, bed was comfortable, looks exactly as pictured. The drive to the site was breathtaking and it was pretty quiet all night even though there is a road nearby. There was lawn games you are able to play with and bathroom/ showers so close by. I do wish there was more information on checking out as a tent since we left hoping we did everything properly, but we did appreciate the calm and easy manner it was to get our tent when checking in. Owners were very responsive through email when we first booked to answer any questions. Would stay again if crossing Wyoming in the future."

- "Our stay was nothing short of AMAZING for Rodeo Week!!! Ellie has an absolute beautiful place to stay on Main Street. We had everything that we could possibly need for a week’s vacation. Just steps from the place is a great coffee shop (Bison Union), yummy places to eat (Frackletons, Cowboy Cafe, and Midtown Cafe), and stores to shop (King’s, High Mercantile, and Surf Wyoming). I am not a drinker but the Mint Bar is just within the same block. I also felt very safe doing my 5:30 am jogs in the Main Street area. I’ll definitely be returning to Sheridan and will book with Ellie again!!"

- "This remote property was comfortable and worked out for our family. The cabin was stocked with great linens, dishes and laundry area. The view is amazing and sunsets were beautiful. Internet was great. It was a super hot week and we were comfortable with the provided AC units and fans. Cabin has great artwork and loved the artistic touches and birds. We were visiting family 20 minutes away. I grew up on the opposite side of the BigHorns, so we had many days enjoying this side. Yellowstone, Cody and Beartooth canyon were nearby day trips. Amazing views and loved seeing wildlife. The dogs loved the walks in the country and in the mountains."

Overview:
This sleek one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of our standalone garage/shop on our beautiful 2-acre lot. This unique location will provide a memorable stay. Only 8 minutes from downtown Sheridan, 9 minutes from the Big Horn Equestrian Center and 20 minutes to the base of the Bighorn Mountains, makes it easily accessible. You will find this to be cozy and very clean living space. This new construction was completed in March 2018 and we are thrilled to provide a home away from home for our visitors. We live in the main house a few yards away and are available as needed.

As the photos illustrate there are 3 large windows giving plenty of light. It is a bright, warm and an inviting place. Heat and A/C. Also, it does come with a fan to circulate air and create “white noise” if desired.

The kitchen offers full size appliances with an ice and water dispenser on the fridge. A coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots, pans, utensils, and everything you need to create your favorite meal are available as well.

Outdoor exterior stairs provide access to the apartment.

Located only 20 minutes from Sheridan and 1 hour 45 minutes from Billings you're sure to find an airport that works for you. One of the last few homes before the canyon trailhead, you're likely to see the abundant resident wildlife (whitetails, mule deer, turkey, eagles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional elk, moose, bear or bobcat). The Wild West Loft sleeps four in total with its one bedroom, one bathroom, and spacious living room with a queen sleeper.

This is a beautiful 100-year-old upstairs apartment full of history; the Wild West Loft was built shortly after Wyoming became a state! Outlaws and cowboys used to roam across the beautiful hills that Sheridan occupies today. Although the history of this house is very much alive, the Wild West Loft has been tastefully updated to combine its past with modern comforts.

-There is another short-term rental below the upstairs apartment. Noise can travel in old homes (i.e. its historic wooden floors can sometimes be squeaky) so please be respectful of any neighbors and they will
be respectful of you. We ask all guests to observe quiet hours between 10pm-6am.
-The Wild West Loft has all the uniqueness and mystery deserving of its past- a hundred years of quirks, oddities, and treasures are yours to discover!

This property is listed as a shower only property. The water tank in the home is not large enough to fill the walk in tub.

If you spill water / ice on the flooring please wipe it up the flooring will buckle under sitting water.

Please do not leave the screen doors propped open. Push on the door if you prop it, to release the lock.

History Captured in Wyoming Vacation Paradise
The Trapper Guest House is part of the historic Trapper Ranch, established in 1896 and located in the hamlet of Shell, Wyoming – East of Yellowstone National Park and Cody, at the foot of the little known Big Horn Mountains and National Forest. At 4200 feet, The Trapper Ranch is surrounded by breathtaking scenery in all directions. This area was first settled by pioneers in The Shell Valley and home to one of the first guest ranches in the area where famous travelers like Owen Wister, Teddy Roosevelt, Hemmingway, NC Wyeth, Julian Huxley (founder of WWF) and others vacationed. The Guest House is 3-bedroom log cottage build in 1928 and renovated in 2014. The pristine Trapper Creek runs miles through the property and next to The Guest House.

Enjoy the peace of small-town life, with the beauty of 650,000 acres of public lands as your back yard. For families traveling with ATV's, you can drive directly out from the Guest House onto miles and miles of trails leading into the Bighorn mountains. Nearby, you can enjoy fly-fishing and we would be happy to recommend our favorite local guides! We do also have a few stocked ponds on the property for your self-guided enjoyment. Watch the mountains begin to glow from the comfort of your front porch chair, as the sun rises and sets over the Bighorns. There's plenty of wildlife to see on our property, including mule deer, pronghorns, birds, and more. You might even catch a glimpse of The Hideout Herd of horses, as guests set off for their daily trail rides in the area!

Gas & Groceries can be found in Greybull, just a 20-minute drive away. For minor essentials, or a great lunch and cup of coffee you can head to the local Shell Store; or enjoy a beverage at the beautiful Shell Bar, which is open Weds-Saturday evenings. In a town of 74 people, every place feels like family.

For Paleontology and dinosaur lovers, the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite is about 10 minutes away, visit the Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site, or The Bighorn Basin GeoScience Center and Greybull Museum in the nearby town of Greybull, WY; just a 20-minute drive. This area is rich with history! Don't forget to stop by the Medicine Wheel, or just take a scenic drive on the Bighorn Scenic Byway (Hwy 14), and stop at the many overlooks along the way; with numerous hiking trails available!

The town of Cody, WY is only 1 hour West of Shell; and holds the title of the "Rodeo Capitol of the World"! Enjoy the Cody Nite Rodeo, which runs 7 days a week from June 1st to August 31st. There's plenty of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife as well.

This cozy Craftsman bungalow is located in the quiet and historic Residence Hill neighborhood just a few blocks and a short walk from downtown Sheridan.
It has the quiet low traffic pace of a cul-de-sac -- mostly only residents drive through the 4 block long neighborhood.

You'll have easy front door access to the home when you park right in front. A lovely front porch with a glimpse of the Bighorn Mountains from your seat at the retro wrought-iron blue table just out the front door, perfect for your morning coffee. If there is a separate reservation for the downstairs, then the laundry room and back door with access to the screened porch, patio and backyard might be shared.

This is such a cute house, upstairs and down. If you want more space, let me know and, depending on availability, we can possibly arrange a reservation for the whole home. If not, you'll have the main floor, filled with art, color, cozy furnishings, and thoughtful updates throughout.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Folks park in their driveways, or on the street directly in front of their property. Please be courteous and mindful of the neighbors by parking directly in front of the cottage or in front of the garage in the alley if you reserve access to the whole house.

Garbage pickup is in the large greenish/black bin in the alley every Thursday. Recycling includes everything but plastic bags, styrofoam and glass every other Thursday from the smaller blue bins in the alley. Glass can be taken to the recycling center or left for me to pick up and recycle. Plastic bags can be bundled and taken to recycle at Walmart or Albertson's grocery store.
Sprinklers will run either late at night or early in the morning during summer months. You will find the sidewalk shoveled in expectation of your arrival, and a shovel will be available for you to use if needed throughout your stay.

Welcome to Shell Town Cabin! This charming cabin is located on the main street in the small western town of Shell, Wyoming. Shell is located at the base of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains where there is ample hiking, fishing, and exploring.

This log cabin offers a living room with a gas fireplace, antler chandelier and a cozy atmosphere. Recently installed central heat and air provide optimal comfort during your stay. There is a dining room set for four and a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer for your convenience. There are also window AC units for your comfort during the warmer summer months. Both bedrooms are on the lower level with egress windows. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, a built-in vanity, and an attached half bathroom (no tub or shower). Bedroom 2 offers two single twin beds. The full bathroom is on the main level and has a tub/shower combo.

Outside you find a sitting area up front and a large, uncovered porch out back with an additional sitting area and a picnic table. To add to the charm of this property, there is a small stream that runs between the cabin and historic Old Shell Store. The new Shell Bar is just across the street to enjoy food, drinks and games with friends. Make this quaint, comfortable cabin in a great location your base point on your next trip to Wyoming!

The apartment is just 3 short blocks from Historic Main Street which offers historic buildings, great coffee shops, bars, restaurants, art displays and shops. Also, every Thursday in the summer is farmers market at Grinnell Street, and every 3rd Thursday, Main Street is closed in the afternoon to traffic for a street festival.

The apartment is also just 4 blocks from Kendrick Park which offers walkways along Little Goose Creek, playgrounds, and a band shell hosting bands as well as theater events through the summer months. Don’t forget to stop by the historic ice cream shop there in the park as well. There are also miles and miles of walking/bicycle trails in and around Sheridan.

Located just a short drive from the Big Horn mountains, you will find wide empty spaces of wilderness with breathtaking views in all directions. One of our favorite parts of Jefferson 201 is that the apartment is situated completely away from the clamor of Main Street.

It is a restful and peaceful location where guests can enjoy days of activities and later relax in a apartment that has been truly designed to offer the highest amenities of a home to our guests.

When we envisioned Jefferson, 201, we wanted to have a place where an individual or a couple could really rest and fully enjoy their time alone or together in beautiful Sheridan. Jefferson 201 as well as the rest of the home is equipped with a whole house water filtration system. The home was built with little to no VOC (volatile organic compounds) and the bed is CertiPUR-US® certified.

This home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with an open floor plan living space. The home has a recently installed central heat and air conditioning system for optimal comfort. The living space is surrounded by picture windows letting in an abundance of natural light. The inviting living space has a large screen television and a pellet stove fireplace. Newly added leather sofa and chair fit in with the Wyoming décor. The fully equipped kitchen has abundant counter space for prepping and cooking up family meals. All three cabins have full kitchens with all the appliances and utensils you'd need and patio space with outdoor dining, lounge chairs, smokeless fire pit, and hot tub. Inside each bedroom closet you'll find robes and a luggage rack.

The cabins overlook the working ranch and beautiful hills and valleys to the west and the majestic Bighorn Mountains to the east.

Our home is on the ranch so we're available if needed, but you'll have privacy and the entire area where all three cabins are to yourself. We provide a welcome guide, both via email and a physical copy in each cabin, with all our favorite recommendations: activities, hikes, restaurants, day trips, etc.

We have 2 RV hookups with 30/50 amp service, water and sewer hookups. Horse corrals with automatic/heated waters. We do not have a camper to rent, only the space.

Other things to note
Welcome! We want to make sure you have a great stay in our cozy basement apartment. Since it is located below ground level, we want to let you know that noise can carry more easily than in some other spaces. However, to help minimize any potential disruptions, we have taken several measures including double layers of ceiling material, soundproof insulation and caulking all the floor boards with a soundproof caulk. You'll be pleased to know that with these measures, you won't be able to hear the television from the other apartment, even at full blast!

That said, you will hear some footsteps from above but we have left some noise machines and earplugs beside the bed to help you sleep better. Additionally, the radiant heat pipes can make some noises, like cracking and popping, during the spring and fall seasons. This is simply a characteristic of older homes with radiant heat and not anything to be concerned about.

****As of 2/24, our neighbors are remodeling their home. You may hear some banging or general constructions sounds. Estimated completion is late summer 2024.****

Our basement apartment doesn't have any AC, but being below ground level it maintains a comfortable temperature, usually in the low to mid 70s, all year long. We do have a dehumidifier tucked under the table that constantly blows a fan, feel free to turn it off if it is annoyance.

Plus, we love welcoming pets and allow them to stay with a small fee of $30.

Our team, consisting of my father, wife, and myself, makes sure to maintain the property ourselves, from yard work to snow shoveling, cleaning the units, and more. You may see us around from time to time, as well as upstairs guests.

This is a beautiful 100-year-old upstairs apartment full of history; the Wild West Loft was built shortly after Wyoming became a state! Outlaws and cowboys used to roam across the beautiful hills that Sheridan occupies today. Although the history of this house is very much alive, the Wild West Loft has been tastefully updated to combine its past with modern comforts.

During the summer months; Bikes, tennis rackets, towels, basketballs and other park equipment is available to our guests at no extra charge. Please note the neighbors are incredibly friendly, you are staying in a very safe and friendly neighborhood, you will have 100% privacy and your own house.

Please note that this house has been thoroughly disinfected after each guest for your comfort and safety with all CDC recommended guidelines followed strictly.

Absolutely no smoking anywhere on-premises. $300 fine for any smoking/vaping on-premises.

Wyo Stays Pet Policy: $15 Per Pet Per Day.
Please clean up after pets and to not have pets on furniture! $300 fine for any pet mess not cleaned up after including yard!

Our apartment is a private area upstairs in our shop. There is parking inside our shop upon request. Beautiful views of the Big Horn Mountains and wildlife as well. You will enjoy a quiet country setting, but we are only @ 5 miles from shopping and the airport and 15 minutes from our hospital.

Entire apartment is available. There are two fold-out floor mattresses available if needed.

Guests can use garage space if needed and outside grounds are also available, with a picnic table down by our creek.

1 guest 88$ ea per night and if additional guests is an additional 20$ ea per night (to a MAX 3 guests). Small stand alone house-3 miles from downtown Buffalo - close to shopping/restaurants. Full grass yard with trees. Outside patio with BBQ. Quaint and comfortable - a place away from it all.

1 queen bedroom downstairs and upstairs loft has a double bed -galley kitchen with natural gas stove /oven and lg fridge / microwave - living room and east facing sunroom with lots of light serves as dining room area with a work station and electric fireplace.

Close to horseback riding, mountains, hiking, fishing, hunting. It Is a quiet, peaceful retreat Your own cellphone provider service should work. The wifi will operate the roku tv but is NOT sufficient capacity for downloading/uploading large files such as movies, gaming, gambling and is not available for your devices.

The bedroom is in the loft above a working ceramics studio. The bathroom is on the main floor with one flight of stairs. We are located about two miles from the base of the Bighorn Mountains with a beautiful view and lots of privacy. It is a perfect getaway for two people who can handle the stairs.

The space is not suitable for children under 18 or pets. We are unable to accommodate service dogs due to host's allergies.

The space
The 'kitchen' is limited. Equipment includes a small dorm-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, electric frying pan and utensils.

This is a working ceramics studio and we just ask for access from noon to 4:00 pm. These hours are flexible to fit the guest's schedule.

There are outdoor chairs, a picnic table, and creekside seating. You can cross country ski or show shoe in and out when there is enough snow.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located, older but well maintained home. Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, and a quick 10 minute drive to the Bighorn Mountains. This Main Street bungalow is the perfect place for a quick layover or an extended stay.

The space
Our home is just steps from downtown Buffalo and a short drive to the Big Horn Mountains. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, smart TV, closet space, and plenty of room for a portable crib. The second room has two twin beds, closet, and standing desk. One bathroom with a tub, vanity with counter space, and a bidet. The main living space has room to relax in front of the wood burning fire place and dining space for 4 comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet your cooking and baking needs. Our favorite part of the house are the two outdoor seating areas. The back deck has a grill and table with chairs, while the front porch has a small tea table perfect for morning coffee. There is a washer and dryer available for use, as well a bike, an inflatable kayak, rollerblades and more.

There is ample parking. A cement driveway, large enough for a vehicle with trailer and 4 additional spaces located in the back of the house with alley access.

A gem in the heart of downtown Buffalo! The Hidden Gem is over 100 years old but was recently renovated. The space captures the history of the building while providing a luxury, modern feel. Although located in a small town, this studio apartment with high ceilings has metropolitan vibes. Two beds make this perfect for individuals, couples or small families. Giant spruce trees shade this cute bungalow. Park offstreet in front of garage & conveniently access the DOWNSTAIRS APARTMENT thru the back door. Enter the shared mud/laundry rm, then your private locked entry door & DOWNSTAIRS into the kitchenette w/ the den around the corner. Lots of light from 3 large casement windows brighten the cozy LOWER-LEVEL space. Keep it simple w/ basics in the microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, or grill up in the fenced backyd w/ a local brew on screened back porch.

The space
This is such a cute house, upstairs and down. If you want more space, let me know and, depending on availability, we can possibly arrange a reservation for the whole home. If not, you'll have the DOWNSTAIRS LEVEL, filled with art, color, cozy furnishings, and thoughtful updates throughout.

You'll have easy back door access to the home when you park right in front of the garage. The side gate will take you to the screened porch and up to the back door. If there is a separate reservation for the UPSTAIRS level, then the laundry room and back door with access to the screened porch, patio and backyard might be SHARED. Enjoy the lovely view of the fenced back yard and birdfeeders from the table or futon on the screened back porch or patio furniture, perfect spots for your morning coffee. If there is a separate reservation for the upstairs, then the laundry room and back door with access to the screened porch, patio and backyard might be shared.

Other things to note
Garbage pickup is in the large greenish/black bin in the alley EVERY THURSDAY. Recycling includes everything BUT plastic bags, styrofoam and glass EVERY OTHER Thursday from the smaller blue bins in the alley. Glass can be taken to the recycling center or left for me to pick up and recycle. Plastic bags can be bundled and taken to recycle at Walmart or Albertson's grocery store.
Sprinklers will run either late at night or early in the morning during summer months. You will find the sidewalk shoveled in expectation of your arrival, and a shovel will be available for you to use if needed throughout your stay.

The space
The apartment consists of one bedroom with an attached full bath, a living room, and a full kitchen. The couch is probably too small for a tall adult to sleep on but is perfect for a child or a shorter person.

Other things to note
The apartment is above my wife’s MedSpa but has its own private entrance. The spa is nice and quiet so you won’t get much if any noise from it.

The space
The Erhart is one of four uniquely modern vintage apartments located in downtown Buffalo, Wyoming. The Baker building which was built in 1910 housed the businesses and people that gave inspiration to the names. Erhart bookstore and tearoom was downstairs in the 1940's.

The apartment is fully furnished and ready for you to relax and make your home away from home. There is also a coin operated wash machine and dryer in the communal hallway.

Other things to note
Due to the age of the building it is not handy cap accessible. There is off street parking in the back of the building. The entrance is in the front. Keyless entry for your convenience. Washer and dryer are coin operated.
