The main area has new flooring in 2023 and plenty of seating, windows for a view, and big screen TV. The downstairs family room has all the amenities of home including a satellite receiver, DVR, big screen TV, Nintendo Wii gaming system (with games or bring your own) and a DVD player. Stay connected with wireless internet throughout.

Three bedrooms that include the loft all with queen beds will sleep six. Additional sleeping areas will accommodate air beds (provided). The master bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, deck with a view, and bathroom. The second bedroom on the lower level also has a queen bed and bath across the hall. The loft bedroom with queen bed has envious views of the Southern Black Hills. The two baths are fully stocked with towels and basic toiletries. Welcome to the historic Burdette house. Built in 1891, the Burdette house has a rich history and is one of Hot Springs premier Victorian retreats. Nestled in the breathtaking Black Hills. Next to Moccasin Hot Springs, it is located just one block from Hot Springs charming historic downtown with its river walk, shops, and restaurants. We offer two lovely and unique suites. The second-floor suite is the Western suite, and the third floor is the Victorian suite.

Your private suite is the entire second floor with accommodations that include a living room with a full sleeper sofa and a love seat sleeper sofa, as well as additional seating, DIRECTV stream, and an electric fireplace. The kitchen has new stainless-steel appliances and is fully equipped (French door fridge and chef grade 6 burner electric stove with convection oven) including an antique island table from an 1800's miner shed that is perfect for gathering. The house was built in the 1800's so there are two side by side back bedrooms with a one bath suite (with a full bathroom) that has to be accessed by going through the back master bedroom. A room divider is provided for your use if additional privacy is needed. Each bedroom has queen beds, heated mattress pads, and electric fireplaces, creating a cozy atmosphere for sleeping. We provide plenty of extra towels and linen. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use.

At your disposal we have a large property with private and shared outdoor spaces. On the second floor you have a shared front balcony with table and chairs and is a wonderful space to have your morning coffee and plan your day. Also on the second floor, right off the back bedroom you have access to your private deck with table and chairs, a propane heater and an additional side yard with a gas grill and picnic table. Follow the outside stairs down to the gorgeous, shared courtyard and you will come to an outside fire pit, the Redwood dry sauna, a man-made seasonal waterfall and nature pond that is home to our two turtles Franklin and Sheldon. You will often times see them sunning on the rocks or swimming in the pond. There is a shared adjacent yard with a gas grill, two picnic tables, a children's playset, and a nice Redwood swing. It is a wonderful area for children to play in and has a nice view of the historic downtown area.

Pets are allowed at the Burdette house on the second-floor suite, but be aware parties are not allowed. For your convenience, it is self-check in and self-check-out. There is a guestbook located on the kitchen table to help guide you. We live on the first floor and are around if you need assistance. We also provide one space that is outdoor covered parking in the carport and plenty of street parking is available. We welcome you, are grateful for your business, and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Big Country was description from our 4 year old nephew. He lives in the city and enjoys our big open country. Other guests describe it as a million dollar view and it truly is. It is rare to find this seclusion, beauty and peacefulness. We have been blessed, and we want to share it with you.

Living area is a large open area with ample room for socializing. TV, recliners (7) and reclining sofa, fireplace, 2 large tables and chairs to play games, eat and socialize.

Full roomy bath with tub/shower; another bathroom has walk-in handicapped shower with built-in bench. Another vanity/sink with large mirror in laundry room. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer provided.

For the allergy and smell sensitive -- We are original owners of this home (finished in 2012) and there has never been pets, smoking, or use of scented candles in this home. Nor has there been water damage, therefore no musty, moldy smells. Bedding and towels are washed with Tide Free.

The property borders Black Hills National Forest, therefore building a FIRE is NOT ALLOWED. Out of respect to other renters PETS and SMOKING are NOT ALLOWED.

- "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Upon arrival there was a thank you card and basket with homemade cookies. It was the perfect location within walking distance from the Main Street, shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We couldn’t figure out the Keurig coffee maker as it didn’t seem to be working. The house is remodeled and looks like the showrooms at IKEA. The plumbing is all tied together so the bathroom sink gurgles upstairs while the basement bathroom is being used, but there was nothing wrong with it. We just closed the bathroom door at night so we didn’t hear it. Overall great stay!"

King bed in one bedroom, second bedroom has a queen bed. These two bedrooms are roomy enough for pac and play, or to make bed on floor for toddlers.

Third bedroom has a queen bed and bunkbeds with full mattresses. Bunkbed has sturdy steps, not a ladder. There’s also an extra rail that sits on original rail of bed that can be used for young children.

All three bedrooms have ceiling fans, room darkening curtains and split unit air conditioning unit (no noisy fans). Each bedroom has its own control for heat and cooling. The bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a door from second floor hallway to patio area to enjoy views. The bedrooms are assessable from outside to load/unload luggage or to help with handicapped guests get to bedrooms.

Bathroom has full walk-in shower.

Air conditioning, fiber internet wifi with additional booster units, satellite TV, Weber bbq grill. Cove heating in bedrooms and in-floor heating on first floor.

Columbine Cabin (formerly Kamryn's Kottage) at Highland Meadows Resort is a one-room cabin located atop a private mesa overlooking Hot Springs, South Dakota. A short drive from The Mammoth Site, Wind Cave, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park — among many other attractions.

Relax out back in a private hammock, grill up some burgers on your private grill, or sit back in Adirondacks and enjoy an evening fire. This cabin comes with a gas fire pit. A shared wood fire pit is accessible nearby.

The house is located in central Hot Springs in a peaceful and pretty neighborhood. You can build a fire in the fireplace out in the yard or go walking around town right from here. You are welcome to cook and use the large dining room. You may sit and visit in the large living room. I will probably be here and I like people and visiting. I am pet friendly!

Other things to note
This property is motorcycle friendly. I am an enthusiast with several motorcycles and there are plenty of tools and experience here on the property to assist you if you need to wrench on your machine. I can offer plenty of advice on where to ride and what to see! Jeff

This turn of the century modernized studio apartment has a riverfront location in downtown Hot Springs with on street parking.

This studio apartment has a shared remodeled kitchen with a dishwasher and cooking supplies.

In the room is a Private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Main room has a setting bar with two bar stool for work and eating. There is a sink and counter for prepping food in the room. Theirs is also and a small refrigerator with freezer. The couch is a futon bed for watching TV and sleeping on. We provide pillows and bedding.

Base price for the room is for 2 Guest, extra guests are $15 each per night. Make sure you verify all guests and pets before your arrival, Pet fee $15 per night.

Deer and turkeys are seen nearly every day but hunting is not allowed on my property.

Across the street is the putting green, golf cart trailer parking, beautiful gazebo and Clubhouse with food and refreshments. It's an award winning course and is rated as one of the best 18-hole golf courses in America.

Please note: This is located in what used to be an RV Park so there's also free RV parking and a huge loop turn around big enough for any size RV rig. Only 110v outside plugs are available. There are NO RV 50 or 30 Amp plugs available. The City of Hot Springs provides a free RV dump station downtown at the Mueller Civic Center parking lot.

This is very nice inside. It's has a modular home type of Cottage/Cabin look and feel to it and it includes a Picnic, BBQ, Tent, or RV camping area.

There's a small fenced in backyard and dog house under the back porch for your pets.

Also, the Clubhouse and gazebo patio dining areas can be utilized for your impromptu get together events. Or you could make arrangements with the office for larger events.

There are two nearby hot springs facilities which are opened year round:

Take the plunge at “Evan’s Plunge” which is known as the biggest natural mineral hot springs in all of America. Enjoy both dry and steam saunas, jetted hot tubs, gymnasium, snack bar and recreational water slides for the kids. During the off season on Thursdays enjoy the Senior Day discount for just a few dollars entry fee. Closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.

Then there's Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Spa which has really hot water and it's own restaurant. Entry fee is more costly than the Evan's Plunge.

The Mammoth Site Dig and Museum.

The Wild Horse Ranch.

The downtown Centennial Park, Farmer's Market, and the Fall River FreedomTrail.

Just a few minutes away, visit Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Badlands, and Wind Caves National Parks where the buffalo roam as you drive by. Every Fall Season you can watch cowboys and cowgirls as they roundup and drive the herd of approximately 1,300 buffalo. Not only is the roundup a spectacular sight to see, it is also a critical management tool in maintaining a strong and healthy herd. The Annual Buffalo Roundup Arts Festival at Custer State Park has up to 150 vendors who will offer their fine arts and crafts for sale, including many South Dakota made products.

There's also several nearby fishing lakes and a trout fishing farm. If you're a hunter then in several of the Black Hills public lands hunting areas you'll find plenty of turkeys, white tail and mule deer, and even elk near Pringle the Elk City of South Dakota. The closest public lands hunting is near Cottonwood Springs Campground and Day Use Lake which is only 4 miles away. It's run by the Army Corp of Engineers. The all year Day Use Lake area even has a small parking lot at the trailhead for hunters to use. It can get snowed in rather quickly so be careful when planning your hunting trips.

Hunting is Not Allowed on my property.

If you head out toward Custer State Park on Hwy 385 then you'll also go through Wind Caves National Park (only about 15 minutes from Hot Springs). This way you'll probably get to see some buffalo roaming around freely, (99% chance). Please stay in your car. Also, maybe look for some elk, pronghorn antelope, and bald eagles flying around.

This Country Bungalow is a great get away. One block from downtown and the local grocery store. Great sitting place in the enclosed front porch. Two bedroom- one bathroom. Nothing fancy but adequate and clean. Kitchen has all you will need for cooking. Electric heat and window A/C unit in kitchen. No Wi-Fi or cable television, but does have a DVD player.

You will have access of the entire house, including enclosed porch. Also a small area in the back with barbecue grill. No Access to backyard, including carport.

Upon check out please put trash in trashcan on the other side of the red shed.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The camping cabin offers a camping experience with some of the comforts of home. The cabin is located in the Sunrise Ridge Campground.

The space
The cabin features 2 queen beds, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, grill, outdoor dining and a deck for enjoying our beautiful sunrises over Battle Mountain. You will have 24 hour access to the campground bath house that is a few yards from the cabin.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in a modern round house with panoramic views of the Black Hills and Seven Sisters Hills. Located on a quiet ranch, this room offers a queen-size bed, private bathroom, and an 18-foot privacy wall (no door). The space is perfect for 1-2 guests or a couple with a child (a cot is provided for children ages 4-15).

The space
Home is located in a ranching area on a gravel road with pastured horses. It is a short drive to the town of Hot Springs, Restaurants, Evans Plunge and Cascade Falls, and centrally located for other Southern and Northern Black Hills attractions.
Host family of one. I live in a separate part of the house; therefore, guest have a private entrance and use of the living room and kitchen. Guest Bedroom has an 18-foot privacy wall partitioning it from the living room. There is no door. You cross an open hallway to get to your bathroom. Guest closet contains a small refrigerator. Please see pictures. Space is comfortably suited for one or two people or couple with a child 4-15 years (A cot is provided for a child). I enjoy having guests but am conscious of maintaining my guests' privacy. Please read house rules. Feel free to ask questions.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy the kitchen, living room, and outdoor space. Separate entrance into home through quaint mudroom allows for easy access throughout your stay. The cozy loft above the kitchen allows for more space if traveling in a group. Privacy wall without door separates guest bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Privacy screen is available to close off the bedroom entrance to provide comfort.
There’s a ceiling fan, AC, and a peaceful spot to relax and watch the horses and cattle from nearby ranches.

During your stay
I respect your privacy but will be available if you need anything during your stay. I will be present during the guest's stay in a separate part of the home. Guests have access to kitchen to prepare meals and have a small refrigerator in the bedroom closet. I provide coffee and tea-making supplies, and you can contact me via text if you need assistance. I will provide my phone number as a direct contact 1-2 days before your arrival.

Other things to note
Please plan to arrive before dark, as there are no streetlights in this rural area. I’ll send written directions and my phone number ahead of time because GPS can sometimes be unreliable. Please call me if you have missed your turnoff.

The entrance to Lone Elk Ranch is right off of highway 89. Your tiny home stay is located near the entrance to the property. The house will be unlocked upon your arrival. Should you need a key as you come and go, we would be happy to provide one.

We personally built our tiny home in 2016 in a small town in North Dakota. It was used as a lake home for 3 summers until we relocated to the Black Hills.
Much of the lumber used in construction was repurposed from a family farm.

A quaint house built in the 1920's, filled with Gramma's charming furniture and cowgirl memorabilia. It is in a small town quiet neighborhood three blocks from the World Famous Mammoth Site, a ten minute walk from historic downtown Hot Springs with Evans Plunge Natural Hot Springs, 15 minute walk from renowned Moccasin Hot Springs and area restaurants. It is very convenient to Wind Cave National Park, Angostura State Park and Lake, Custer State Park and all Black Hills attractions.

The space
Guest has full use of my main floor suite consisting of 610 sq. feet. My house is located in a quiet neighborhood with wide streets. It is perfect for walking and biking. I provide fresh coffee beans, coffee mill, and a french press. You are welcome to any condiments or whatever you can find in my frig! Cooking utensils, dishes etc. are provided.

Claudia stays in a vintage trailer in back yard and is available for any questions or advice on fun things to do. A quiet renter lives in the downstairs of the cottage with a separate entrance. Guests use the front entrance private for their own use.

Other things to note
Two laundromats are located within three blocks of the Cottage. TV is available with ROKU. (Netflix, news, YOUTUBE and more) Claudia does not use chemical cleaners or highly scented detergents.

Studio apt in Historic Building built in 1910 features full kitchen and full bathroom. Updated renovations include modern floor tiles, new counter tops, fresh paint and new shower. This unit provides a very modern loft look. Amenities include TV, cable, internet, washer & dryer, all appliances, etc. There is a luxurious queen bed for a great nights sleep. We are in downtown and within walking distance to shops, parks and more. Must climb steep stairs to access unit.

The space
As you enter the downstairs apartment you will immediately see the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is outfitted with a double burner cook plate as well as a multi-function microwave/oven/air fryer. To the left of the entry is the living area and bedroom. The bathroom is down the hall to the right. The door across from the bathroom leads to the owner's area and will be locked.

Also upstairs with me are two cats (who usually get along with each other) and my lab, Sam. While he looks friendly, Sam sometimes has his own opinions about people. Please don't reach over the fence to pet him or enter his area uninvited.

Town is a short walk or drive away. A stroll along the Freedom Trail is beautiful any time of year. Other local activities include the Moccasin Springs, golf, pickleball, Evan's Plunge, The Mammoth Center, Wild Horse Sanctuary, summer festivals, and so much more!

Many tourist attractions, hikes, and lakes are within a short drive. If I can assist you with any info about local activities, just ask!

Guests have a complete apartment area as well as outdoor spaces. The lower deck is a private outdoor space. You may also enjoy the yard with the exception of my dog's fenced area.

There is a large outdoor firepit available with permission.

The RV parking slab on the left hand side of the garage can be used if the street parking is occupied by event attendees at the school across the street.

Other things to note
Road construction continues in town with hopes that it will be completed by the end of 2024. Parking is available downtown and all businesses are accessible.

There was a mountain lion seen on the apartment Ring doorbell summer 2023. They are occasionally spotted in the area - usually on doorbell cameras. There's no need for fear, but be aware of your surroundings especially in early morning hours. I recommend keeping the motion activated exterior light on for this reason.

Come get comfortable at this unique and family-friendly place. Within walking distance of all amenities of Hot Springs. This place will have everything that you need!

This property has two very nice porches. One is a sun porch, beautiful setting for morning tea and coffee or just a place to relax. One very large bedroom with French doors that has two beds, one queen and one twin. A very large living room with large couch that folds into a queen size bed. And also a chase that makes into a twin size bed. Very large formal dining room. And an eating kitchen. However no laundry. Remodeled bathroom with claw foot bathtub. Please make sure to have all curtain shut while showering to keep water off of floor. This property has everything that you will need from towels and linens, bedding, All kitchen utensils, and plenty of spices for making meals.

This Carriage House is in the heart of downtown Hot Springs & across the street from Moccasin Hot Springs Spa. Our yellow victorian home sits high on a hill which creates a feeling of privacy. The home was built in 1889 before the road, electricity or plumbing. The Carriage House, where guests stay, was used by Charles Hargans Jr , a Saturday Post artist. We made it the cozy place it is today. We offer a clean & comfortable stay in our historic sandstone town!

The space
The loft is a one-room, open concept area. Sleeping accommodations include a queen-sized bed, built-in bunk beds designed for privacy with curtains, USB ports and reading lights and a futon. There are handmade quilts for all of the beds and window coverings.

There is a full kitchen with an island sink that has everything you should need to cook or just have a cup of coffee. The tiled bathroom has an unusually tall shower! There is a dedicated area for a dining room table for meals or playing games.

In building Feathergrass Studio, all of the wood work was repurposed from our old garage or from Black Hills blue-stained pine milled in our back yard. Works of art built into the loft include a wall that can best be described as a wood quilt; stone-worked electric fireplace with stones gathered on our travels, custom designed cabinets and kitchen island with a wooden mosaic front.

The fenced-in back yard encloses some open space as well as our flower and vegetable gardens- feel free to check them out!. Depending on the time of year, you will be parking either in the alley & use the back gate or park in the driveway and use the front gate. Either way, you’ll have a private entrance to the loft.

There is a $45 charge a night per each person in a tent. During the Sturgis rally (Aug 1 - 10) we will accomodate as many tents as we can fit in the back yard. Tent campers in the booking group will have access to water spiket/hose, 72 in picnic table, shade trees, washer/dryer and facities in the camper.
