The private garden and pool would have be fabulous had we not arrived in winter and during unusually bad weather for the area. After our initial booking Erik and Martine emailed us to ensure that we knew how to find them and to check what time we would be arriving so that they could meet us. We were very impressed by the level of service. Can't wait to go back, hopefully in summer so we can make use of the garden and pool. "

To keep you warm in the winter months, there’s an oil fin heater, and the double bed has an electric blanket too. Snug as a bug in a rug! :)

Our caravan, “the Bumblebee” has a double bed, and a fold out couch/bed at the other end, so it's a perfect combo for a couple, two friends, or solo traveller.

The space
Our caravan is located in our backyard, well away from the street, and is lockable from the inside and out. You'll also have access to a separate toilet and basin which is part of our home (but private use for you). There is no shower available on site (which is why we offer only one or two night stays).

There are two beds (one comfy double bed, and one fold out couch) available, so our space is perfect for solo travellers, couples, or friends, looking for a cheap fun place to stay.

High-speed wifi is available in the caravan, as well as a small TV on which you can watch DVDs (we have a small selection), or connect your device.

Other amenities in the caravan are: fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, heater, fan, lights, sockets, running cold water, and an electric blanket (on the double bed only).

Guest access
Along with sole use of the caravan, you'll have private use of a toilet and basin which is located in our house. There is no shower available in our caravan.

There is off-street parking available for your vehicle(s) on our property. If using public transport, the nearest bus stop is just 300m away (2 min walk), and bus 77 takes you into the centre of Dunedin - easy peasy!

Also, Woolworths supermarket is a 2 min walk away. Very convenient! If you prefer dining out there are multiple restaurants and takeaways on the main street of Mosgiel within 750m (8 min walk or 2 min drive).

You'll love our quiet and peaceful property and surroundings. Many guests have said they've had the best sleep ever in our caravan!

Other things to note
Washing machine, dryer, and some amenities for children are available upon request. A load of washing is $5 (payable in cash), or if you prefer there is a laundromat in central Mosgiel.

We own a large family home in Spreydon, just a hop, skip and a jump from the centre of Christchurch city!

We welcome worldwide travellers, business travellers, parents of students attending private schools or anyone needing a base while they search for their dream home or flat. No young children please. .

I'm happy to answer any questions before you book or to discuss extensions to your original bookings if your situation changes - we can be super flexible to meet your needs.

The space
In the back garden there is a trampoline, 5 laying chickens and we have a large tropical aquarium inside which is a relaxing way to pass the time.

We have a very friendly cavoodle called Coco who will be excited to meet you too!

During your stay
I give my guests space but am available when needed. I work full-time as an education advisor and often work from home. My 9 year old attends a local Anglican Christian school in a neighbouring borough. During term time we lead very busy lives so once the mealtime rush is over, we tend to disappear from 7pm. However we are always happy to chat or give advice about local facilities.

Other things to note
Kitchen use is restricted to light cooking only please. This is by far the busiest space in the house and we have found that it is only manageable if Guests use it sparingly.

Welcome to our peaceful home right by the beach! We are offering a comfortable double bedroom furnished with a queen-sized bed. You will have full access to the shared living space, bathroom, and kitchen.

We love this place because you can relax in the sun on warm days or infront of the fire on cold days. You will have plenty of things to do in the area. For example, the golf course, New Brighton hot pools, Saturday market, cafes, and bus stops that take you into town.

This two-story, 5 bedroom timber house offers a charming slice of holiday life in New Brighton. Just a 15-minute walk from New Brighton Beach and Pier, it features stunning views of the Avon River right across the road with an easy commute to the city center with a bus stop just around the corner.

The home boasts five double bedrooms, with two located on the bottom floor and three on the top floor, along with one bathroom on each floor. Both floors include inviting living and dining areas, with a heat pump. A fully equipped kitchen (downstairs) and kitchenette (upstairs) with all the necessary appliances, cookware, and utensils.

This property comes with 4 parking areas and several off-street parking.

The space
Our property is fully fenced. Your room gets lovely sun, has a queen-sized bed, side tables wardrobe, wall heater. There's a DVS system, unlimited WIFI and outdoor table and chairs for you to use. A chair and fold away desk can be provided should you like one.

Guest access
The room is part of our house so the bathroom, kitchen and lounge are shared spaces. There's also a covered deck accessible via the lounge. The laundry is also available for your use.

Currently, there is one lovely lady living at the property. I (the host) don't live there myself but live not far away. I can be contacted through the app, and will ensure your needs are looked after.
