The private garden and pool would have be fabulous had we not arrived in winter and during unusually bad weather for the area. After our initial booking Erik and Martine emailed us to ensure that we knew how to find them and to check what time we would be arriving so that they could meet us. We were very impressed by the level of service. Can't wait to go back, hopefully in summer so we can make use of the garden and pool. "

During your stay
I give my guests space but am available when needed. I work full-time as an education advisor and often work from home. My 9 year old attends a local Anglican Christian school in a neighbouring borough. During term time we lead very busy lives so once the mealtime rush is over, we tend to disappear from 7pm. However we are always happy to chat or give advice about local facilities.

Other things to note
Kitchen use is restricted to light cooking only please. This is by far the busiest space in the house and we have found that it is only manageable if Guests use it sparingly.

It’s a three story house. Your room will be in ensuite downstairs. upstairs you will have a shared kitchen lounge. Oven is not included for use.

A guest will have his own access to his room and one designated parking will be available.

Welcome to our peaceful home right by the beach! We are offering a comfortable double bedroom furnished with a queen-sized bed. You will have full access to the shared living space, bathroom, and kitchen.

We love this place because you can relax in the sun on warm days or infront of the fire on cold days. You will have plenty of things to do in the area. For example, the golf course, New Brighton hot pools, Saturday market, cafes, and bus stops that take you into town.

This two-story, 5 bedroom timber house offers a charming slice of holiday life in New Brighton. Just a 15-minute walk from New Brighton Beach and Pier, it features stunning views of the Avon River right across the road with an easy commute to the city center with a bus stop just around the corner.

The space
The home boasts five double bedrooms, with two located on the bottom floor and three on the top floor, along with one bathroom on each floor. Both floors include inviting living and dining areas, with a heat pump. A fully equipped kitchen (downstairs) and kitchenette (upstairs) with all the necessary appliances, cookware, and utensils.

This property comes with 4 parking areas and several off-street parking.

This listing is for a queen bed room on the top floor.

The house may be shared with other guests staying downstairs and upstairs and with shared facilities (i.e. bathroom, main kitchen, kitchenette, living and dining areas).

There is one entrance, which is used by everyone. Access to the second story is via an internal staircase.

Late check-out fees will be charged as $10 per hour (up to 3pm, on the condition that there are no bookings for that date).

The space
Our property is fully fenced. Your room gets lovely sun, has a queen-sized bed, side tables wardrobe, wall heater. There's a DVS system, unlimited WIFI and outdoor table and chairs for you to use. A chair and fold away desk can be provided should you like one.

Guest access
The room is part of our house so the bathroom, kitchen and lounge are shared spaces. There's also a covered deck accessible via the lounge. The laundry is also available for your use.

During your stay
Currently, there is one lovely lady living at the property. I (the host) don't live there myself but live not far away. I can be contacted through the app, and will ensure your needs are looked after.

Located @ closed street, no traffic noise. Short ride to airport & S-markets, parks nearby. Sunny bedroom with desk/chair, wardrobe, king-size bed, plus your own private bathroom! Heater provided.
Share an extra-large lounge with us, or have it just for yourself when we are upstair.
Fully functional kitchen, cookware & dinnerware provided.
