The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. Family friendly (and pet-friendly) home in a quiet cul-de-sac in central Taupo with lake views and a large established/private garden with outdoor seating under a covered porch area, spa pool, bbq and lots of space to relax. 5 min walk to local restaurant/bar (Mole & Chicken), and a 10 min walk to the lakefront. Off street parking available for 2-3 cars. Additional 4th bedroom (King size bed) + toilet which guests can access for additional $50 per night. The room is locked if guests choose not to use it.

The property is a split-level home, across 3 levels. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on the same level with 2 x King size beds and 1 x King Single bed. These bedrooms are also on the same level as the kitchen, dining and outdoor porch area. There is a fireplace in the kitchen/dining area and wall heaters in the bedrooms which make the house nice and cosy over the colder winter months. Upstairs is a large lounge with seating for 6-7 people and views of the lake.

Note: Downstairs there is an additional 4th bedroom with 1 x King size bed which guests can access for additional $50 per night. There is a seperate toilet next to this room. The room is locked if guests choose not to use it.

There are two office spaces - 1 desk in the single bedroom and 1 in the mezzanine (off the lounge) for working remotely.

*Well behaved pets are welcome for an additional cleaning fee ($100 per pet).
Pet policy: Pets MUST be declared before arrival to avoid a pet violation fee of $500. A $500 bond is refundable following inspection after check out. Pets are not allowed on furniture (incl beds) to avoid scratching and damage.

Electric vehicle charging: Please advise if you are planning on charging your vehicle during your stay. There is an additional charge for power of $20 per EV charge.

We have a number of outside games and sports items that guests may wish to use including pétanque, frisbees for frisbee golf (at Spa Park), a junior croquet set, basketball (there is a hoop at the church just up the road), 2x sets of golf clubs and 1 trundler (golf sets on request, and please only for adults / experienced players).

We have two security cameras on the property - one down the side of the house and one on the back porch. The cameras are switched off during guest stays.

We stayed in Taupo for a month for work reasons. Our stay was very very good. We enjoyed very much all corners of the house. There were plenty of games and toys like darts and bocce and a beautiful garden with a great Jacuzzi. Beds were very comfortable and luxurious. The appliances efficient and convenient.

The 3 bedroom home is a 20-25 min walk from the city center or natural hot-pools. There is a nice comfy bed waiting for you to rest after an active day, and a cute alcove in the room with a desk where you can catch up on your travel blog, work or family. We have (electric) mountain bikes for hire.

The space
This house is build 50 years ago, and we recently gave it a good fresh up with some nice colorfull paint and unique wallpaper. The double doors from the livingroom open onto a sunny deck where you can sit and relax, shaltered from the wind.

Guest access
You have your own room and key. You share the living room, kitchen with dining table and the outside deck with any other guest that might stay. We live next door and if you stay for a lomger time you are free to use washing machine

During your stay
This house only has Airbnb rooms (3 bedrooms in total) so it can have a very pleasant community feel in it. We live next door.

Jonny is working for his own business so will be coming and going. Be sure to talk to him if you are interested in any bike riding while you are here!

My place is a unit on a back section about 5 - 10 minutes drive from the centre of Taupo and a 5 minute drive to the lake. I am a keen traveler and have enjoyed my experiences meeting a diverse range of people from many backgrounds both hosting and as a user of Airbnb's myself. When you arrive you will be welcomed by my very friendly cat Tequila so please be aware that a cat lives on the premises.

This is a small bedroom with two long single beds with plenty of storage. Private smart TV in bedroom. There is key lock on bedroom door for your security and privacy.

Two bathrooms and an extra separate toilet are shared by all the guests staying in our large Bed and Breakfast.
I clean the shared guest bathrooms regularly in a discrete and unobtrusive manner during guests stay.
Stairs access to our home and stairs within our home.
Huge backyard with orchard, bar b que and outdoor entertainment area.
Homemade bread, muesli, yogurt and fruit is provided for breakfast.

Guest access
The bathrooms are shared by all of our guests who are staying at our large Bed and Breakfast.
You are welcome to use the shared guest bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and lounge. You will be provided with a remote control key for the electric gate to gain access to the property. This provides secure off street parking.

My daughters and I are keen snow skiers.
There are plenty of mountain biking trails and walking tracks in the vicinity. Lake Taupo is the largest lake in the Southern hemisphere.
