- "We love the resort, so much for kids to do while parents relax at the pool. We love that we feel safe letting the kids go on there own to the arcade, lazy river, slides, & activities. We had a group of 9 families this year & we love the closeness to our condos, pool, & bar, & walking distance to restaurants. We utilized the grilling station twice this year & absolutely loved it, there could be 2 picnic table in that area & it would be perfect. The only negative I have to say it our unit didn’t have a drain stopper called front desk 1st & 2nd day they never brought one. ( It was spring break week) The staff is absolutely amazing our car broke down as we pulled into the resort in the pouring down rain the grounds maintenance guy was amazing he brought my husband tools & even offered to change our battery or anything else we needed. He came back around in the rain a few times to make sure my husband was good to go. Snow cone time was the kids favorite time of day. We will definitely be back next year"

This fully air conditioned unit in Oakwater resort is called Laughing Out Loud and is a wonderful home away from home during your vacation.

The main living area boasts a flat screen tv, with extended cable and a DVD player as well. The room has a large sofa and chair, and is decorated with jewel tones and tranquil colors that offer a stylish and relaxing atmosphere. There is high speed Internet access, and a house phone with free calling within USA.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and all the other large and small appliances you need to be comfortable. All linens, towels, kitchen utensils and dishes are provided as well. The main are of the condo is open and bright, with the kitchen looking out over the dining room and living room.

There are three spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a wall mounted, flat screen tv and a full ensuite with a walk in shower. This bedroom is located towards the back of the condo and overlooks the pool and clubhouse area. The queen bedroom also has a wall mounted, flat screen TV. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds. These bedrooms share the hall bath.

Sliding patio doors from the living room lead onto a screened in patio, from which you can enjoy a view of the Oakwater lake with walking paths. Oakwater Resort has a great, zero entry pool, a spa and a splash deck for the kids. There is a lovely lake with a walking trail, and fishing available! The resort also has an exercise room, games room, tennis court, basketball court and sand volleyball court.

Oakwater resort, in addition to being close to Disney World, is also very close to all the other major theme parks and attractions. There are several golf course close by. The resort is located close to shopping and restaurants.

- "This quaint townhome was well-situated for visiting Disney and all the area attractions. Quiet, safe neighborhood, welcoming Disney touches, and a comfortable layout made for a stress-free, relaxed experience. Most essentials are provided. Check out was easy and the owner was responsive. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay!" - "Bathroom Tub upstairs leaked down through the ceiling , it has one it before as the Coating on the Gyprock was coming off and the sofa below it had water stains on it. The screened in patio had a lot of Pine Needles and cones on top of it and even on the patio when we arrived they were on the floor of it, Lots of Cob webs. Ensuite bathroom window sill had Black Mould starting on it. Blinds in Master Bedroom were not working so you could open them. The track for the Patio door does not look like it was cleaned in months as it was completely brown with dirt. Could have started a garden there. Sink plugged in the bathroom with the tub and the toilet did without using it so that means there is a problem in that bathroom so we did not use it for the last 4 days. Send messages to the owner and they sent a plumber to fix the tub and all they did was put Plumbers Putty over the hole of the overflow of the tub. The owner did acknowledge that they had a leak before but she said that it was probably coming from the unit next door, which is not right. She did offer 30% off of 2 night stay and when i sent her more information after the Plumber came she did not respond to me so we received nothing from her. This could be a very nice place if they would just clean it up properly. I expect that they would not keep their own home like this . Yes we like the unit but disappointed in the Cleanliness and the action taken by the owner. The pictures advertising the unit do not represent the unit when you arrive."

- "The unit we were placed in was very nice and newly updated. Overall, the resort was great. There are many amenities, such as on-property restaurants and bars, a fitness center and numerous pools. However, I was under the impression this was a three bedroom all in one unit, which was not the case. We were placed in “connecting” units-one was a 2 bed, 2 bath condo and the other a 1 bed 1 bath suite. The way the units were “connected” was via a common entryway accessed from outdoors, which was accessed with a private card key but didn’t have additional security locks. Once inside each unit separately there was no access between the two internally. If all guests are adults, this is fine. If the guests include young children, this could be terrible. I would also like to mention the Westgate property checkout time is 10:00 but the VRBO listing indicates checkout is 11:00 am."

- "I rented this property because they advertised pet-friendly and heated pool. Upon arrival the code was not working and I reached out to the host and was given a different code that worked. The pool was not heated and I advised the host of it he responded saying they had the pool guy come out and that it was working. I also advised the locked to the back door was not working and that a room had the closet door loose off the hinges, have to be careful with small kids. I paid over $1,500 to ensure the pool was heated as I was traveling with my kids and they wanted to enjoy the pool. No one came out to fix the issues. The pool was freezing (could not get in) and an adult always had to stay behind because the locking mechanism of the back door was not working. On the last day of my stay I received an email from the company managing the property that I had brought two dogs to the property and they were not aware and they were going to need to charge a fee. I advised that their home advertised “pet-friendly and heated pool” which was not accurate. When I booked the home I input I was traveling with pet. I have two service dogs I need to travel. I reached out with my concerns and they apologized and said someone will get back to me with my concerns. It’s been over 1 week and no one has. I have rented other homes and the host corrects the concerns immediately. It’s unfortunate the service they provide because the home is nice."

Wash towels: In accordance with Airbnb's hygiene recommendations and COVID 19 guidelines, the WASH TOWEL is considered a disposable and personal item, so we recommend that you bring your own.
The other towels (bath towel, hand towel and pool towel) will be provided and will be available at the house, in proportion to the number of guests staying.

HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a professional cleaning company. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit. Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.

TRASH DISPOSAL: Please observe trash collection days and place trash in the resort dumpster daily to keep a clean home.

POOL HEATER: VERY IMPORTANT
1-Cost: $35 per day.

5-Attached spa is NOT a jacuzzi. It does not have jets. It can only be heated if the entire pool is heated. They both will have the same temperature.
6-Heaters works through HEAT EXCHANGE and WILL NOT WORK in cold weather. If you still would like to heat the pool during cold conditions and it does not reach the desired temperature, we will not be able to offer a refund.

Our pool heater pumps have a safety system that prevents overheating of the element when the pump is working overtime in cold weather conditions. This way causes a temporary shut off of services automatically until the pump can regain its functionality efficiently. (This is optional and may not be available at times.)

* Resort's Detailed Pet Policy: One dog or one cat is allowed per unit. Pet must not exceed 60 pounds. The following breeds are not allowed on property: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chow and Presa Canario. The Pet/Cleaning Fee is $170.00. Additionally, we require a refundable pet deposit of $100.00, which is returned if there is no damage to the unit. At check-in, guests are required to advise the Front Desk that they have a pet. If the guest does not advise the Front Desk that they have a pet, and a pet is found in the room, they will be charged $190.00, in addition to the $100.00 deposit. Guests are fully responsible for their pet's actions and any damages that may occur. While the pet is in the unit it is expected to be supervised at all times. At the time housekeeping services are provided, the housekeepers will not service the unit if the pet is left unattended. It is the guest's responsibility to confirm with the resort Front Desk staff as to the locations outside of the guest's unit where pet will be permitted. When pet is out of the unit and on property, it is expected that the pet be on a leash and under the control of the handler. It is expected that the handler will pick up and properly dispose of any pet deposits. In the event a pet soils or stains fabric, additional charges may be assessed accordingly. Pet must not disturb other guests. The pet is not allowed in the Restaurants, Spa, Marketplace, Pool Areas, Game Rooms, and/or common retail space or amenities. This policy does not apply to service animals. Owners and Guests with service animals are not charged any of the above fees. Swimming pools are newly renovated, we have FREE Wi-Fi in all the rooms, and a nice fitness center with dumbbells and multi-function weight station.

Playgrounds, sand volleyball court, a putting green, and our on-site Express Cafe offering exceptional custom coffee beverages and food round-out the great amenities. Be sure to try a Cafe con Leche, one of their custom sandwiches, or frozen fruit juices. Our guests receive 10% off their first order!

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm on your date of arrival. Check-out is at 11:00 am on your date of departure.

Housekeeping services is provided at no additional charge every other day of your stay. If you do not wish to have our room attendants enter your room, just place a Do-Not-Disturb sign on your door.
