One of our favorite things was that we constantly found new and fun surprises to explore like the daily night time shows at the forum, the library in casa Paz, the gorgeous spa and so on. A few minor complains are that we were charged a ghastly price for a second round of covid testing after our original flight was canceled so we had to retest. The tests were only advertised as complimentary all over their social media and website. Also don’t expect immediate 5 star service as staffing is quite sparse due to COVID-19 (which is understandable). With that being said I give the property 5 stars without question and would highly recommend to everyone!!"

No it’s not a high end luxury hotel but everything is as it should be. Beaches are quite nice, they maintain fairly well. Ofcourse a few rocky sections but plenty of clean soft white sand through the 5 resort chain. The food is acceptable, the nicer a-la-carte restaurants are better, the buffets are nothing to write home about but totally fine. Lots of selection. Facilities at the palace are nice, including covered, open air seating eating areas. Some of the rooms can be a longer walk depending on how much you want to pay but lovely walks, lots of beautiful vegetation, flowers etc. the one thing I found a bit goofy was distance to bathrooms from the beach at the palace more specifically. But they are always very clean bathroom. Very impressed with facility cleanliness overall and staff friendliness. There are activities offered from within the facility, some are paid, some aren’t. Anywhere you stay in Mexico is going to have paid services for any off-resort activities, but this all inclusive does a great job. If we didn’t go somewhere new every time we travel, I would absolutely go back."

- "Beautiful location set in a jungle and nearby the ocean with a great beach. Very convenient with it being a halfway point between the east side and downtown, about 20 min drive either direction. Breakfast buffet was great with being able to order fresh prepared eggs. Many of the other buffets were precooked and who knows how long it was sitting out. Be careful eating any veggies uncooked. I made the mistake on last day of eating a salad for lunch and got very, very sick. Other than that, a great experience and would go again but avoiding most of the buffet options unless cooked or knowing when it was prepared."

We don’t speak much Spanish, but they try to accommodate us (which is more than generous since we are in their country) and speak as much English as possible.
