The staff was friendly and helpful although I only saw them when I checked in. There are a lot of rules particularly around where you can smoke and cook, which again I appreciated. Although the property is located on a busy road it is quite far back from the road and the bedroom was on the back side of the building, so I wasn't bothered by the road noise at all. The price was really good, you might even say affordable! At least $20 a night less than the other places around that have kitchens. I would stay here again and I think it would be really good for longer term stays too."

Our home was built in 1962. Important note: there are steps leading up to the home. As you walk into the front door, you enter the living room which opens up to the kitchen. To the right of the living room is a hallway. The hallway leads to three guest bedrooms and the guest hall bath which two guest bedrooms share.

The Christiansburg Recreation Center and the state of the arts Aquatic Center is only minutes away from your corporate home away from home. The recreation center is only $5.00 a day or $30 per month to use the facility and the aquatic center is only $15 per month to use during your stay in Christianburg. While you’re in town make sure you check out an athletic event or performance at Virginia Tech just 8 miles away. This peaceful home away from home has everything you will need to enjoy for a short term or for a longer term stay.

a private room with a king-sized bed in the basement of a house that is a half mile north of campus. the amenities are all the high quality that your host uses for himself, so you know that your experience will be luxurious.

upstairs bedrooms have a grad student and sometimes the host, who mostly lives out of town

downstairs bedrooms include this and one other on Airbnb. both bedrooms share a bathroom, a theater, and a kitchenette.

The space
the room has a king-sized bed, HEPA filter, space heater, Sonos speaker, white noise maker, and essential oils, all to make sure that the space is super comfy! each side of the bed also has charging cables, because that's just important.

two friendly and well-behaved cats live in the house (Yuk and Kink). they will love meeting you!

you'll have access to your room in the basement, along with the kitchenette and bathroom down the hall. you can also share the theater with other guests, my roommate, and me. feel free to come upstairs in the morning for a cup of coffee!
