Blinds were taped up, toilet paper holder downstairs bathroom was broken & lights didn't work, upstairs bathroom toilet seat was broken (with new seat ready for you to install), coffee pot was broken & dumped on my leg. Banister rail on upstairs main entrance is about to fall off & not secure (definitely a safety hazard). Clearly not the property we were promised. Home description shows 2 queen beds that are actually full size beds. We booked this home for 8 people for 2 nights. We were only given 1 washcloth, hand towel, and towel per person for the entire stay. They only had 1 trash bag in the entire house & then you have to haul off your trash when you leave. Upon check-in, property manager stated they only hand out keys & clean homes (obviously not being done but their going to charge you $85 for). Contacted Hotels.com for resolution. Definitely RENTER BEWARE when booking this property! I booked this home because it had an exceptional 10 review. Once we saw the condition of the home, my sister saw there was another bad review that was being hidden. I have photos."

The Town of Beech Mountain requires that you have a vehicle that is properly equipped in the event of inclement weather during the winter months. You must have a vehicle with 4WD or chains if there is snow or ice to keep you safe during your visit.

The cabin had a well equipped kitchen, main living room with a fire place, nice beds and baths. We would book this property again. A few maintenance items the owner might want to address, the area rug in the living room is curled up along the edge which is a tripping hazard ,Ask me how ii know, there is a closet door broken up stairs ,the air hockey table has a broken power cord which is a fire hazard so we unplugged it."

The winter season brings a touch of magic to the mountain. Enjoy sitting around the Gas log fire and enjoying your hot cocoa or glass of wine. If you have used the ski area we have a small boot dryer in guest suite so you can dry out quickly. Sit back and relax and enjoy all the mountain has to offer and make everlasting memories.

THIS COTTAGE--clean, cute, comfortable--is also convenient too! Located just 1/2 mile beyond the Beech Mtn. Club pool, tennis, fitness center, and just beyond Coffey Lake fishing pond/walking path, it's close and accessible to activities, yet serene in its quiet, natural setting. Go beyond the house and you'll arrive on St. Andrews Road which follows along the golf course, another fine amenity. Add that to the sunny view of distant mountains, fire pit below the house and fairly easy ingress into the house (8 stair steps) and you've got a home that promises to be warm, welcoming and worthy of your consideration.
The main level touts 2 guest bedrooms (1 king and 1 twin trundle) that share a bath. The kitchen/dining/living area is fresh, bright and open. The kitchen is fully equipped and a joy to use, with more accouterments than most. The dining area takes in the view, and the living room is cozy and inviting, with a stone faced fireplace and gas logs. The main deck has a big gas grill and nice dining set up. Downstairs is where you'll find a large master bedroom/suite with a plump king bed, large private bath, impressive closet and private balcony too. A den with the 2nd tv, sofa bed, office "nook" and the third bathroom complete the rest of the space on this level. This house is ideal for a couple with occasional guests, or a small family...perfect for up to 6 people.
Each season on Beech has its own wonderful activities and attractions. For summer, in addition to hiking, bicycling, fish and fowling, shopping, dining, music and art outings, Beech Mountain Club privileges are available. (All member transfer & usage fees shall be paid by renters.) Enjoy golf, tennis, pickle ball, fitness, private dining facilities. For winter, Ski Beech Resort, is less than 10 minute drive away--skiing, boarding, skating and sledding. As with all locations on Beech we recommend that you come equipped with 4WD or tire chains in winter, as we hope for snow. And, at 5500 ft. elev Beech is "the coolest" year 'round.

Take a look in the cabinets under the benches - you will find numerous board games and some toys/art supplies.

The deck outside the kitchen has an 4 person dining table and a sectional. It also has string lights! Sit and relax while listening to the trickling water.

There is a deluxe stone fire pit area complete with lighting and adirondack chairs, so bring your s'mores supplies for an cool, crisp evening around the fire.

In the event of snow, a snow shovel and salt is provided for your use at the property. The town scrapes the roads but it can take a while for them to get to all of the roads. As mentioned in the rules, a 4 wheel drive vehicle or snow chains are required in the event that it snows/ices. You will get stuck and be unable to leave if it snows and you aren't prepared.

Speaking of snow, please be prepared with groceries. Always bring extra food just in case you are snowed in. We have Fred's general store which has some basics, as well as Food Lion off the mountain. It is often easier to get what you need for the first night if possible.

Starter essential supplies are provided: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, a dishwasher pod and a laundry pod. You will likely need to bring extra supplies.

In the bathrooms, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion are provided.

Spices, flour, sugar, cooking spray, aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc. are provided as well as a few k-cups of coffee/hot chocolate. Cleaning supplies, if needed, are available in the laundry room as well as under the kitchen sink. Our coffee maker has both single serve and the full size coffee pot. All cooking utensils, etc are provided. You should have everything you need but feel free to message and ask!

Baby items are available in the laundry room: Pack n' play, high chair, booster seat and two sets of bed bumpers.

A few things were missed like leftover soap in bathroom 1, the keurig had leftover grinds, ice machine was already filled with ice & the fire pit ran out of propane the 1st night. All small matters (no biggie). Things that actually mattered were great. Linen towels, linen on beds, etc. Also being close the Beech Mountain Resort was perfect. A full run down was printed so I could follow to the T. I would most definitely recommend this property. A must stay if you want privacy & space."

Although the Town of Beech Mountain does a great job clearing snow off of the main roads quickly in the winter months it is highly recommended to have 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain. During winter months we highly recommend bringing snow chains to assist.

Our 3 bedroom (+ loft bedroom), 2.5 bath picture-perfect mountain cabin on Beech Mountain offers everything you and your family needs to have a fun getaway. The inviting, open-floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table, and cozy family room with gas-log fireplace. Includes a spacious deck with seating, BBQ grill, and hot tub, as well as a fully fenced-in yard and firepit beyond the deck area. Great views and location as you are 2 miles from Beech Mountain Resort.

Our home offers 3 private bedrooms + additional sleeping space in the loft. Plenty of space to hang out in the open concept family room and dinning room with the kitchen directly attached, or if you prefer being outdoors enjoy the large patio with plenty of seating and hot tub.

Bedroom #1 features an ensuite with a queen size bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, smart TV and sliding glass doors to back deck. Loft space has a queen size bed with bathroom. Downstairs bedroom has twin bunk beds.

Family room, loft and master bedroom feature Smart TV’s.

The staircase to the loft is a bit steep but has a safety rail. Spiral staircase leads to lower level - there is also an exterior downstairs entry if you prefer to enter that way.

Your 'management' fee ($55) covers all cleaning and maintenance to the hot tub before you arrive. We ask that all hot tub rules are followed to ensure the hot tub stays up and running year-round, $150 fee if rules are not followed and the hot tub needs draining or additional maintenance. If the hot tub were to malfunction then please let us know immediately so we can help. Any issues with the hot tub may result in reimbursement of the management fee. Please use hot tub at your own risk.

With a brand new kitchenette and walk-in shower, fast Wifi and all the essentials you'll need to unwind and relax at the end of an adventurous day, you'll find comfort amongst Nature at an amazing value!

The space
Thoughtfully designed with a private entrance and separate mud room, walking in you are greeted with a brand new kitchenette providing all of the essentials. Opening to the main room, there is a flex space sitting area/table with comfy fold out chairs and dresser unit. A comfy queen sized bed faces a retractable flat screen smart TV with an upgraded sound system. From here, a stylish, sliding barn door leads into the newly renovated bathroom with a brand new, tiled walk-in shower.

Private, outside entrance with access code. Private mudroom area leads to the unit entrance door that can be locked.
*A stairwell from the mudroom leads to a locked door for the owner's unit above, but the stairwell will not be used.

Please note that while you cannot park outside the unit, you may use the access road at the end of Northridge road for dropping off and picking up (luggage and people). AWD vehicles are required in the winter months. If there is heavy snow and ice, the access road will be closed.

From the parking area, there are approximately 75 steps to access the unit. Obviously much easier going down than going up, but if take your time, you can have a nice leg warmup without feeling out of breath.

Other things to note
There is a $30 pet fee. For those folks who are allergic to pets, please note, this pet fee goes toward deep cleanings to ensure the unit is free of any pet dander for all travelers.

The space
This fully renovated true 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit is beautifully appointed. It has a fully stocked kitchen, laundry in the unit, and all the comforts of home. Sheets and towels are provided, as are basic paper goods and cleaning supplies. There is new Sealy King bed in the bedroom and the sleeper sofa is a Queen sized Leggett & Platt AirDream Hypoallergenic Inflatable Mattress (instructions provided)

There's no need for air conditioning - our cool summer breezes are divine. In the winter, baseboard heat keeps you comfy when it's chilly outside- and the fireplaces give added warmth and coziness.

Just in case you feel like staying in - there are two Roku TVs loaded with apps, two cozy gas fireplaces, a variety of board games, cards, and a DVD player. The unit has WiFi and Spectrum cable.

Looking to explore the great outdoors? Enjoy skiing, tubing, mountain biking, hiking, or ride the lift for morning yoga/great views/cocktails at the 5506 Skybar. The snow tubing park operates (weather permitting) in the ski resort and provides 700 foot runs with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Should the need arise, there is a stacking washer inside the condo. Please be aware it's a small unit for convenience. If you have large items or loads, please use coin operated washer across the street in the clubhouse.

It's a nice comfy private retreat for you to enjoy in after a busy day exploring the high country. Most of the time we don't even see the guests, only if we're both going to our cars, so you will have plenty of privacy. We stay on the top 2 floors and the guest suite is on the basement level so you'll be the only ones on that whole floor too.

You'll have the guest suite area all to yourself and your very own picnic table & hammock outside of the room for you to enjoy on a nice day. The backyard is open to guests too w/ a fire pit, grill, picnic table, yard area, stream... & tree swing coming soon!

there is a $30 pet fee( 2 dogs), 2 or more dogs $40 pet fee, payable with cash upon your arrival-thanks!

The space
This condo is beautifully decorated with all the essential conveniences from home! it has free WiFi, a brand new flat screen TV with a Charter premium package including NFL Network, Showtime, and much more. We have Roku so you can watch your favorite shows on Netflix or any other apps and you can find a Wii as well.

We have made some new changes to the condo as well! We have added new flooring to the entire unit in addition to the new door we have installed! We have also updated our windows and bathroom vanity for an enhanced guest experience!

This gorgeous condo has two queen beds. Our place sleeps of to 4 guests. All linens, towels, dishes, toiletries, coffee, coffee filters, and spices are provided. It is very convenient when all the parking lots fill up, you can simply park outside the unit and never have to crank your car. Our unit connects from a little bridge to the Ski Resort that has all your Biking/Hiking needs!
You can hear a creek passing nearby as well as you are crossing the bridge! We have a king size bed with luxury sheets and blankets that will let you have a relaxing stay that guests absolutely love!

Enjoy our comfortable fireplace in front of our brand new smart TV located right next to the Beech Mountain Ski Resort and located moments away from hiking trails, biking trails, snowboarding, skiing, and everything else that makes beech Mountain a great place to visit!

We just finished our renovation so and kitchen appliance updates we have stocked the kitchen with new cookware and brand new vanities in the bathroom!

+For our guests’ convenience we have a keyless entry electronic lock system! We will provide you a unique code for your stay a day before or the day of arrival. No need to meet anyone or coordinate arrival times.

+Upon access to our condo you will find the place clean and ready to go! No need to worry about sheets for bedding, washing dishes, ect. Just arrive, relax, and have fun!

+This rental offers the opportunity to access a Beech Mountain Club Sports Membership for amenities like golf, tennis, pickleball, and a swimming pool (optional) . A separate country club membership transfer fee of $300, not included in the nightly rental, is required by the country club.

Please let us know in advance if you would like to access the club, and we will be happy to send you the details. (Available from mother's day to thanksgving)

The serene setting and mesmerizing natural surroundings provide plenty of attractions and places of interest for you to visit. Both Beech Mountain & Banner Elk offer skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, zip-lining, mountain biking, off-road ATVs, rafting, fly fishing, hiking, golf, fine dining, and shopping all at your fingertips.

• A lot of homes in the mountains are not equipped with air conditioning.
