This left our party of 7 (5 adults & 2 children) with one useable bathroom & only 2 bedrooms. Blinds were taped up, toilet paper holder downstairs bathroom was broken & lights didn't work, upstairs bathroom toilet seat was broken (with new seat ready for you to install), coffee pot was broken & dumped on my leg. Banister rail on upstairs main entrance is about to fall off & not secure (definitely a safety hazard). Clearly not the property we were promised. Home description shows 2 queen beds that are actually full size beds. We booked this home for 8 people for 2 nights. We were only given 1 washcloth, hand towel, and towel per person for the entire stay. They only had 1 trash bag in the entire house & then you have to haul off your trash when you leave. Upon check-in, property manager stated they only hand out keys & clean homes (obviously not being done but their going to charge you $85 for). Contacted Hotels.com for resolution. Definitely RENTER BEWARE when booking this property! I booked this home because it had an exceptional 10 review. Once we saw the condition of the home, my sister saw there was another bad review that was being hidden. I have photos."

It is sized perfectly for large family gatherings, yet cozy enough for just a few. Just off Beech Mountain are the charming towns of Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. Each of these are home to great restaurants and shopping. Spend time at Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Caverns, Mystery Hill and the original Mast General Store. With whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, caving, or fly fishing, there is no shortage of world class outdoor activities within a 30-minute drive.

The town of Boone, home to Appalachian State University is close by. There is shopping at the quaint shops and nice restaurants in the downtown area.

The Town of Beech Mountain requires that you have a vehicle that is properly equipped in the event of inclement weather during the winter months. You must have a vehicle with 4WD or chains if there is snow or ice to keep you safe during your visit.

The week of Christmas and the week of New Year must be rented for 4 nights and must begin on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday before the Holiday. The first family to rent their week will determine what days will be left for check-in.

The cabin had a well equipped kitchen, main living room with a fire place, nice beds and baths. We would book this property again. A few maintenance items the owner might want to address, the area rug in the living room is curled up along the edge which is a tripping hazard ,Ask me how ii know, there is a closet door broken up stairs ,the air hockey table has a broken power cord which is a fire hazard so we unplugged it."

Built in 2020, Yes, Deer has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a cozy king bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a pull out twin trundle. The fully stocked kitchen is a dream and ready to meet your needs, whether that’s cooking in or simply using the Keurig for your morning coffee. There are also two porches, one with a hot tub, for you to enjoy!

With two spacious porches to enjoy, you can spend your time on the front porch enjoying seasonal views of the mountain range, or out back soaking in the 6 person hot tub. We have a gas grill and fire pit out back as well as outdoor furniture for lounging or dining. Located on a heavily wooded lot, Yes, Deer offers the perfect secluded setting for enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

We want you to feel right at home when you vacation with us. We offer 5G fiber internet, cable, a smart TV for streaming from your favorite apps, a dedicated work space, and so much more. All linens and toiletries are provided. We also have a Pack-N-Play and booster seat on site if needed for the littlest of guests.

LOCATION
Less than 2 miles to the slopes, Yes, Deer is nestled in the perfect location to enjoy all Beech Mountain has to offer. Local Beech Mountain restaurants and shops are all just a short drive away. It’s also just less than 7 miles to Banner Elk which offers an array of fantastic restaurants, a park, winery, brewery, and an awesome Alpaca farm (a family favorite!). But we understand if you never want to leave the house once you arrive. Grab a throw blanket and snuggle up by the fire or explore the vast woods and creek right outside the door if that is more your speed. We have plenty of board games and puzzles for guests to enjoy so please help yourself!

WEATHER
Ideal circumstances would be snow on the slopes and not on the roads, but please be prepared for snowy conditions. The Town of Beech Mountain does a wonderful job keeping the roads clear, but sometimes it can take time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds due to weather conditions. Since snow is part of the fun, we hope you take precautionary measures to ensure your safety when traveling.

We brought sanitizing wipes to go over things that would be tried and we didn’t notice any dirt or dust after wiping things down. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and discovered a nice array of cleaning products available for guest use. Property is also well stocked with basic needs which were also well appreciated. The hot tub was clean and private (it could be viewable from the small neighborhood road, but we just moved our car to block any view - if that’s a need). Furniture was comfy for lounging around. And the additional features were well placed and fun to discover. One note: the property does have a couple other properties within view from the deck. Granted - it was heavily screened with trees, but we made sure our time outside was sippping coffee and listening to the creek. Our drive home was full of discussions about new found likes and what surprises we discovered. And there were enough that we both look forward to booking again!"

Step in the door to modern mountain luxury. The open concept main floor boasts a living room with a plush couch, accent seating, and a flat-screen tv mounted above the stone gas fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen has stainless appliances and granite countertops with an island including two bar stools. Relax or dine on the main floor deck which includes a gas grill, or take the steps leading to the lower hot tub deck.

Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles and potentially chains are required during winter months for accessing any home on Beech Mountain.
- Parking space for up to 3 vehicles.
- The home has one security camera monitoring the driveway.
- Guests returning to Treetop Retreat may receive a discount of 5% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.

Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Our group had 3 couples in their 40s with two teenage boys, over a 3 day weekend. Property was well stocked and had all the basics needed. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The boys shared a room with double bunk beds. They also had a bathroom. Lots of room. Could have slept 2-4 more children comfortably. Lots of space. Parking more than 2 vehicles is an issue if you have multiple families meeting there. There is really only room for 2 vehicles to park, which is fine if everyone is arriving together."

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.

Enjoy great views, deer sightings, and various festivals throughout the summer and fall. Within close walking distance to Restaurants! We are members of the Beech Mountain Contry Club, if you wish to use te conutry club during your stay the transfer fee requested by the club is $300 which is not included in your total, this gives you access to use the club facilities including: pool, social activities, dinning venues, fitness center, ski lodge and fitness classes * fees may apply. The membership transfer has to be completed at least 3 days before check in.

The Beech Mountain Club activities start on Mother’s Day weekend and the club usually closes the third weekend in October. The pool opens on Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day weekend.

Pet fee- $50 per pet $75 for a longer than a week stay. The payment request will be sent once the booking is completed.

Little touches like a designated mat for our dog's food and helpful notes around the property made it feel less like a rental and more like staying at a friend's place. Our 3 bedroom (+ loft bedroom), 2.5 bath picture-perfect mountain cabin on Beech Mountain offers everything you and your family needs to have a fun getaway. The inviting, open-floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table, and cozy family room with gas-log fireplace. Includes a spacious deck with seating, BBQ grill, and hot tub, as well as a fully fenced-in yard and firepit beyond the deck area. Great views and location as you are 2 miles from Beech Mountain Resort.

Our home offers 3 private bedrooms + additional sleeping space in the loft. Plenty of space to hang out in the open concept family room and dinning room with the kitchen directly attached, or if you prefer being outdoors enjoy the large patio with plenty of seating and hot tub.

Bedroom #1 features an ensuite with a queen size bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, smart TV and sliding glass doors to back deck. Loft space has a queen size bed with bathroom. Downstairs bedroom has twin bunk beds.

Family room, loft and master bedroom feature Smart TV’s.

The staircase to the loft is a bit steep but has a safety rail. Spiral staircase leads to lower level - there is also an exterior downstairs entry if you prefer to enter that way.

Your 'management' fee ($55) covers all cleaning and maintenance to the hot tub before you arrive. We ask that all hot tub rules are followed to ensure the hot tub stays up and running year-round, $150 fee if rules are not followed and the hot tub needs draining or additional maintenance. If the hot tub were to malfunction then please let us know immediately so we can help. Any issues with the hot tub may result in reimbursement of the management fee. Please use hot tub at your own risk.

Located at over 4600 ft in elevation in a quiet neighborhood on Beech Mountain. The Mossy Rock Cabin is a 2 minute drive (1 mile) or 10 minute walk(1/2 mile) from the ski resort. It provides the perfect backdrop for all of your cabin making memories. As you pull up the drive you are greeted by the large mossy rocks, outdoor fire pit and generous deck. The front porch boasts rocking chairs, a new grill and seasonal views of the mountain ranges.

Other conveniences include: brand new grill, outdoor seating, laundry room. Air Conditioning is available, via split units, in the living room, kitchen, sunroom, mid bedroom, and back bedroom. The Master bedroom does not yet have a split unit, but it will cool down leaving the door opened during the day. Electric Vehicle Type 2 charger is available, in the parking area, with a J1772 connector type. Please bring an adapter for Tesla or other models that do not support this connector type.

Abundant Acres Retreat is a cozy cabin nestled in some of the most naturally developed mountains in NC. A place where you can unwind or have some of the wildest times you and your family can conjure up. There are trails just out the door and wildlife everywhere! Abundant Acres is just off the main road up on Beech Mountain at approximately 4,409 ft in elevation! We are a private home with 2 bedrooms (both queen beds), 2 full bathrooms, and an additional loft that sleeps 5 more guests upstairs (that makes room for 9). Freshly remodeled and decorated with all new appliances. Our main patio opens up to the wilderness with a trail just outside the back gate and has plenty of space to seat 10+ guests at our rather large handcrafted table. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is a mere 5 minute drive and the historic downtown Banner Elk 15 minutes!
