- "This a great hotel! We stayed for 18 days and I highly recommend it. The people are very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable with nice quality sheets. This was the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. There were no stray hairs in corners, dust on top of the tv, etc. Really tidy. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy, but a nice selection and well cooked and well presented. The b-fast staff goes out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The mall is across the street and has some nice restaurants and shopping, including a huge grocery store. We cooked a few simple meals in our room on nights we didn’t feel like going out. There is another mall and shopping within walking distance. The cons: water pressure could be better. Crossing the busy street out front was an adventure each day but doable with patience. I called in advance to let them know when I was arriving. I asked to get picked up from the airport at a certain time and they accommodated. I arrived at the hotel and check in was easy. The room was spacious, felt like an apartment. I got a room with a queen sized bed on the 4th floor. I liked how the whole place looked. Everything was clean for me and I was satisfied. There is no A/C, but there were two windows that allowed air in. Bogotá's climate is pretty cool so there is no need for an A/C in my opinion. Breakfast was included in my reservation. The food was good, so take advantage of it. There are so many restaurants around the hotel. You can walk to so many places. It's a safer neighborhood. Something else that can ease your worries is that you have to buzz in to enter the hotel. If you are having a guest over, they will ask for their identification and there is a curfew for guests, could stay until 10 or 11pm. This is for safety reasons and I think that's a great perk. The morning shift receptionist and morning cleaning worker were so nice. Talked with them throughout the week. Would be a reason to return to the hotel. Thought the place was pet friendly, but I was told they weren't on my last day at night. The listing says they are, but maybe you have to ask in advance to allow pets. I would love to come back, so next time I'll contact them in advance about the pets."

My studio apartment was clean and comfortable; it was on the highest residential floor and provided a nice view from my window/balcony of a piece of the urban landscape and some of Cordillera Oriental. The kitchen had all the utensils, dishes, and pots that I needed for making and eating my meals. (You will need to buy/have your own dish soap to wash them.) The microwave oven and the stove worked well without any problems. I LOVED having hot water for my showers, a nice comfort considering that Bogotá can be quite chilly. My bed was wide and comfortable. *My ONLY small gripe was that I was unable to get any reception on the television set, and I did not know whom to ask for assistance with this. The remote control was impossible to figure out, at least for me. This was no tragedy, as I do not watch a lot of TV; but sometimes I do like to have it on as background sound or just to see the latest news or sports headlines. "

The house has a family atmosphere, has everything necessary to guarantee guests the necessary tranquility and comfort (furniture and furnishings), as well as green areas with fruit trees and a spectacular view of the landscape (on clear days can be seen from the balcony the snow-covered of the Tolima and the Ruiz). It is perfect to rest in family or to enjoy with friends. Welcome everyone and everyone will always be welcomed with the doors open.

The space
The house is two floors, the first floor has a four-bedroom apartment with its respective bookshelf, beds, blankets and sheets, a shared bathroom, a room with private bathroom, and a kitchen (all have all necessary utensils). The first and second floors connect with an external iron staircase; both apartments have a kitchen, laundry room and private bathroom, these have a balcony as a shared area. At the back of the house there is a laundry room with a laundry room, however if the guests stay several days the washing machine is available.

Guest access
The first floor guests have access to the entire apartment, the front balcony, the green areas, the sand area with the benches, the alternating corridors of the house, the parking lot and the laundry room.
Guests on the second floor have access to all of the above except for the front sector when there are hosts on the first floor.
The common areas are the parking lot, the alternating corridors of the house, the green areas, the balconies of the second floor for 2 silver hosts, the sand area with the benches and the laundry room.

Other things to note
La encintada a de la vereda la Soledad se encuentra en buenas condiciones, sin embargo existe un tramo sin pavimentar en la bajada un poco complicado, sería bueno que nos comunicaran si vienen en carro pequeño para guardarlo en una de las fincas de los vecinos conocidos o ingresarlo con las precauciones y los cuidados necesarios.
