- "I love it ❤️" - "We loved our stay, but there was a few negatives We didn’t have warm water our entire 8 day stay, and no effort to resolve the issue. Multiple times our fridge wasn’t restocked with water, and the rooms were extremely humid. It felt like sleeping in a wet towel. Our room was beautiful, we had a great view of the ships coming into the port. There was no service around the pool, we weren’t used to that, servers at the pool bar Alexandre, and Gerald were excellent always remembering our drink order. The restaurant for lunch always took over 1.5- 2 hours for food , we were thankful it was raining . We never went back. Sports bar service was good when it wasn’t busy, busy and raining waited over 2 hours for nachos.. that never came.. service is all around slow. Restaurants. You HAVE to make a reservation .. no walk ups.. the Japanese was quick and very tasty. Italian and steakhouse were also very delicious, we ate a lot at the buffet because it was the quickest for lunches and dinners when we didn’t know to make a RESO Entertainment. Wow. Pollo and his crew kept us entertained everyday. Beach volleyball and crazy games by the pool. So much fun. "

There is a scenic walkway that is a lovely walk with all kinds of flowers and different fruit trees and bushes that are labeled, i just can’t say enough about my stay there. Wish i lived closer so i could visit often, but if i am ever back in the DR i will definitely be staying there again! I don’t usually leave reviews unless i had a horrible experience and want to warn others but i feel this place deserves to be bragged on. Highly recommend!"

I don't drink alcohol but they do serve you the cheap stuff. They have three restaurants, I ate at the buffet. I can't rate the meals because I eat M.R.E.'s. I love the meals at the buffet. One thing bring IMODIUM. The resort staff took about 4 days to warm up to me. I was a single male and from what I have seen they do have drunk gropers. The staff was really good with children. The staff was also very good with entertainment, my mom would of loved to see the Cabaret show. I like snorkeling at Sosua it was 50 dollars, make sure you bring a tip the lead person is very good. The only bad thing about the trip is the vendors on the beach. They try to sell you junk. The one would not leave me along. He tried to charge me 80 dollars for a necklace I saw for 10 dollars and 50 dollars for a bottle of Dominican Rum, he was so annoying I never went to the beach to lay down just to watch the surf. This was a real vacation killer. "

Cabarete is a small safe and super beautiful town. You'll find everything you could need. Playa Cabarete is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. But you can also take a Guagua or Mototaxi all the way to the beach. Playa Cabarete is very popular with kiters and surfers. Since there are often beautiful waves here. The beach itself invites you to relax and unwind. There are a lot of different restaurants and bars right at the beach.

A little further north is Encuentro Strand. It is small, but it is worth visiting there.

The closest beach is 10km from Cabarete and is called Sousa beach. This is very lively with tourists and the water is very quite.
