The map shows another side of the hotel with an oceanfront pool that looks to be part of the same hotel but they said we couldn’t go there. Cabarete is a small safe and super beautiful town. You'll find everything you could need. Playa Cabarete is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. But you can also take a Guagua or Mototaxi all the way to the beach. Playa Cabarete is very popular with kiters and surfers. Since there are often beautiful waves here. The beach itself invites you to relax and unwind. There are a lot of different restaurants and bars right at the beach.

A little further north is Encuentro Strand. It is small, but it is worth visiting there.

The closest beach is 10km from Cabarete and is called Sousa beach. This is very lively with tourists and the water is very quite.
