- "I love it ❤️" - "We loved our stay, but there was a few negatives We didn’t have warm water our entire 8 day stay, and no effort to resolve the issue. Multiple times our fridge wasn’t restocked with water, and the rooms were extremely humid. It felt like sleeping in a wet towel. Our room was beautiful, we had a great view of the ships coming into the port. There was no service around the pool, we weren’t used to that, servers at the pool bar Alexandre, and Gerald were excellent always remembering our drink order. The restaurant for lunch always took over 1.5- 2 hours for food , we were thankful it was raining . We never went back. Sports bar service was good when it wasn’t busy, busy and raining waited over 2 hours for nachos.. that never came.. service is all around slow. Restaurants. You HAVE to make a reservation .. no walk ups.. the Japanese was quick and very tasty. Italian and steakhouse were also very delicious, we ate a lot at the buffet because it was the quickest for lunches and dinners when we didn’t know to make a RESO Entertainment. Wow. Pollo and his crew kept us entertained everyday. Beach volleyball and crazy games by the pool. So much fun. "

There is a scenic walkway that is a lovely walk with all kinds of flowers and different fruit trees and bushes that are labeled, i just can’t say enough about my stay there. Wish i lived closer so i could visit often, but if i am ever back in the DR i will definitely be staying there again! I don’t usually leave reviews unless i had a horrible experience and want to warn others but i feel this place deserves to be bragged on. Highly recommend!"

One thing bring IMODIUM. The resort staff took about 4 days to warm up to me. I was a single male and from what I have seen they do have drunk gropers. The staff was really good with children. The staff was also very good with entertainment, my mom would of loved to see the Cabaret show. I like snorkeling at Sosua it was 50 dollars, make sure you bring a tip the lead person is very good. The only bad thing about the trip is the vendors on the beach. They try to sell you junk. The one would not leave me along. He tried to charge me 80 dollars for a necklace I saw for 10 dollars and 50 dollars for a bottle of Dominican Rum, he was so annoying I never went to the beach to lay down just to watch the surf. This was a real vacation killer. "

It’s about 25 minutes from the airport with traffic. Definitely close not too far from a big city, but not exactly where everything is super close, but there is a nice little private beach walking distance from this day and I think that is very great for people who are not interested in traveling the town, Nikki is super sweet, super attentive and is extremely helpful . it definitely is a little paradise away from all the chaotic that you may get from being at a resort for that I chose this place for me and my fiancé. We had a nice reasonable extremely accommodating stay while we adventured out for most of our days. The local security is also extremely nice. Everyone in the area is super welcoming. If you stay here, I would definitely recommend a vehicle just in case you need a late night drink or something you’re able to hit the stores earlier in the day. Awesome stay!"

As eco-lodges go, this one was not as secluded as some. You will definitely hear noise from neighbors, road noise, dogs, roosters, etc. View is spectacular. Staff excellent. We were glad we opted for the family dinner. The food was good and the portions generous. We were not bothered by mosquitoes in our room at all, despite it being completely open-air - however we appreciated the mosquito netting around the beds. The few mosquitoes lurking in the common washroom were the only ones we saw. "
