We are a 25 minutes ride to beaches in the East and 30 minutes ride to the ones in the North.
We have in Caguas, The Sheraton Four Points Hotel and Casino with music for dancing on weekends.

There are 2 balconies, a large open TV room/living , an open kitchen with an island-- you'll love this house.

While this house is in the mountains top notch restaurants, hiking and everything PR has to offer are within a short drive. The airport is 45min from the house, Condado beach is only 30 min, Palmas del Mar beach is 45 min to the east side, while taking the ferry in Fajardo to Vieques or Culebra will only take about 55 minutes.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is a great, safe, gated community with security guards at the gate and guards making constant rounds. Every neighbor is very respectful to each other and very nice.

Getting around

It is necessary to rent a car**.

The house is located 18 miles from Condado- San Juan.

Public transportation on the island doesn't work as well as it does in larger US cities. Large families will be able to fit up to 5 Cars in our driveway & garage. There's also more parking in the back if needed.

House Rules

There's simple basic rules, no smoking or fireworks inside the house, don't break anything and everything will be great.

- "Very much enjoyed the location. For what the place offered, it was inexpensive. Had a large living and kitchen area. Huge patio right by the living area for hanging out, exceptionally good during the days when it was windy and relaxing. Lower patio has a large space we rarely used, EXCEPT for the pool room outside. Bedrooms were great and each had their own PTAC unit for cooling. The only complaint, if any, would be that there is no AC in the living areas outside of the bedrooms. But, with it likely being a remodel, it made sense. Even during the heat wave while we were there, the wind blowing through on the patio kept us comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you have a group of 4 or more."

Disclosure: Since Hurricane Maria hit PR on 2017 the apartment complex are fighting with the insurance and vacancies. Finally our building is being paint. This issue do not affect the habitability, safety, interior or apartment.

Late checkout or early check-in = this is an apartment complex and you can hear the eco on the stairs. We had some complaints about noises. We want our community happy, for this reason if you want to do a late check-in (after 8pm) you will need to leave your luggage in the car until the next morning. If you need a early checkout (before 7am) please leave your luggage on your car the day before.

THIRD PARTY RESERVATIONS: if you are working for co-workers, family members or 3rd party: PLEASE share the listing before booking. No refund will issue for not reading description. A/C only on master bedroom, only 1 parking assigned, no dryer on premises.

- "My family often travels to Puerto Rico to see relatives and we usually stay in San Juan. We thought, let’s try something different. We’re so glad we did. Lomita Linda is a clean, comfortable, well appointed 3BR apartment in the hills outside of Caguas. The views of the valley are great, the neighborhood is small and peaceful, and we woke up to roosters (in the best way). The apartment is a 10 min drive into the center of Caguas, which is a nice place to eat out, hang in the central plaza, explore. There are many museums but we’re closed over the holiday. Beyond Caguas, we were just 25-30 min to San Juan (just avoid rush hour) and within an hour of multiple beaches, hikes, waterfalls, and towns to explore. The interior of PR is beautiful and much less touristy and built up than the coast. Staying in Caguas was a great way to enjoy the variety of PR while having a home base that felt increasingly “like home”. We had such a good time that we extended our trip 5 days! We will be back."

Late checkout or early check-in = this is an apartment complex and you can hear the eco on the stairs. We had some complaints about noises. We want our community happy, for this reason if you want to do a late check-in (after 8pm) you will need to leave your luggage in the car until the next morning. If you need a early checkout (before 7am) please leave your luggage on your car the day before.

THIRD PARTY RESERVATIONS: if you are booking for a 3rd party, co-workers or family members: PLEASE share this listing before you book. No refund will issue for not reading the description. This apartment is on 4th floor, only 1 parking assigned, A/C only in master bedroom and no dryer on premises.

The unit itself was very clean and updated. I stayed there because it was very close to family I have in Caguas. The neighborhood looks nice and upscale, but then the apartment complex has some seriously dilapidated or vacant buildings-“humble” is a bit of an understatement. It was concerning since I was traveling alone with my 3 teenage girls and we left before sunrise for an early flight. This 6-unit building was secure with locked entry door, fully occupied and clean, the apartment was very modern and spacious. Once inside, it’s newly renovated, clean and full of many conveniences (WiFi, laundry, Netflix, porch). Host communicated quickly. Comfortable 1-night stay."

The property is located in a private area and can accommodate two persons. The house is designed as open spaces and have one bathroom, one bedroom, living room, kitchen, balcony area and pool/jacuzzi.

What is included?
• Kitchen - there refrigerator, electric, stove (2 burners), microwave, sink, modern dishes, modern cutlery, pots and pans, Huge wine glasses and more. In effect a full kitchen with all the utensils.

• Living room - there a sofa, 6 bottle wine cava, huge frame to leave the wine corks signed and a 50 inches TV.

• Bedroom - there a queen bed (bedding is included), two modern ottomans, 32 inches TV and an amazing view to the mountains.

• Bathroom - there a modern shower, toilet, vanity and a Bathtub with an amazing view to the mountains also. Towels, soap, conditioner, lotion and bath-bomb for the bathtub are included.

• Pool area - there a 13 inches per 8 inches pool with a waterfall, pool can be used as a jacuzzi also, heater is programmed from 6:00pm to 12:00am but additional time can be provided as requested.

• Balcony area - there two modern egg seats, a fire pit and an electric smoker grill (traeger grill). This area have artificial grass.

A bottle of wine, two custom wine charms and chocolates are included with the reserve.

Welcome to our beautiful house in Caguas, where you will enjoy the mountain views and nature sounds. The house is equipped with solar energy system, water cistern, A/C unit in each room, high speed internet, laundry with washer/dryer.

The house offers 3 bedrooms and a TV room. Kitchen, dining and living room. 3 full bathrooms. A terrace and deck overlooking the mountains. Very safe neighborhood tucked in the mountains. Still close to center, stores and restaurants. The house is about 40 min/ 24 miles from San Juan airport and 15 minutes from the center of Caguas.
Some of the amenities provided include hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, paper towel, toilet paper , dish soap, and a dish sponge. While we make sure to provide you with the essentials, please note that we do not offer unlimited disposable amenities. 1 bath towel per guest and beach towels. It is your responsibility to review the services we provide and stock with anything else you may need for your stay. Gas for the grill is provided.
Because coffee is important to us, we provide a small bag of coffee grounds for your first cup in the morning.
The house is in the countryside, and you can find insects, mosquitoes, ants, domestic animals (roosters, cats, dogs), among others around the property.
The house is on a hill and parts of the roads leading to the home are narrow and steep but drivable with a regular car, a truck or 4 WD isn’t necessary.
Detailed information on how to arrive to the house will be provided along with phone numbers you could call in case you miss a turn :)

House Manual/Rules:
- No smoking, no vaping.
- No parties or events allowed.
- Turn off AC units if you are going to be out for most of the day.
- Please leave the house neat and free of rubbish on your departure to avoid being charge an extra fee.
- Wash dishes after use.
-Please discard food waste and clean grill after use accordingly to maintain the control of pests, insects, and malodor.
- No drinks and no sitting on the pool table, cover back when done.
- Take trash out to large black bin by the laundry room.
- No extra guests allowed.

In the pantry cabinet you will find a first aid kit, umbrella, flash light and fire extinguisher.

Parking: Feel free to park top or lower level. The main entrance to the house is on the top level. If you drive a low car, be advised that the underside of the car may rub the ground as you enter the top level garage.

Notify us right away if something is not functioning properly.

We used all of the house! The peace and serenity was priceless and the views were to die for. We saw something new everyday. The views, the privacy, the home itself can only be truly appreciated by staying here. We had a hard time leaving the house to go into the city because it is THAT beautiful and tranquil. From the time of booking to the time that we departed both hosts were ALWAYS available. A quick example of how amazing the hosts are...on our last morning there the power went out due to a storm...we encountered 1 of the hosts as we were leaving bringing us breakfast sandwiches due to the inconvenience. Renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle is HIGHLY recommended as this property sits atop a hill and requires a little confident driving. We are already scheduling our next stay!"

- "This is the first (hopefully only) negative review I have ever made. Overall the apartment was comfortable, clean and modern as described in the listing and shown in the photos, but this was countered by what I deem several serious problems. Our stay started with difficulty handling the security key for the entry doors. The MAJOR PROBLEM was that there was NO HOT WATER at the kitchen and bathroom sinks, and the shower ranged from tepid to mostly cold. We heated water on the stove and in the microwave to help fill the sinks for doing anything. The host said the reason that this issue was not mentioned on the listing was that VRBO's platform does not give an opportunity to provide this type of information. Whether true or not, renting a vacation property without prior knowledge that there would be NO HOT WATER seems totally unreasonable. The stove's electricity was not connected so the electronic ignition did not function, and without any written instructions about how to make it operate, we only got it figured out when the host arrived several hours after we checked in. The lighting for the living, dining and bedroom areas were large semi-flush squares with recessed lights and blinking, changing color LED lights at the ceiling level. The host was unable to find the remote control to turn off these blinking LEDs which created a disco bar atmosphere, not a relaxing environment. Direct lighting was nonexistent over the sink and stove, making it hard to see what I was doing. Battery operated LED under-cabinet lights would be an easy solution. Additional minor problems included a ceiling leak into the bedroom and outside hallway. For the above reasons, I can only give this review one star."
