Eight lucky guests can be comfortably accommodated in our home. The space is also very kid-friendly as there are many things for them to do during their stay. This is a great place to disconnect and have an amazing time outdoors. Entertainment for all members of the family is guaranteed. From theaters, casinos, forests, parks and festivals there is no room for boredom. Walk down to the lake and fish in the dock.or enjoy our fire Pit .Go kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, sightseeing, the list is endless.

There are a number of restaurants with Puerto Rican specialties right down the street, and Rex Cream, our favorite ice cream shop, is a short drive away in Guayama. - "The Ocean view is amazing. Main room is a little tight. The 2 rooms are in a trailer added to the kitchen and bathroom. There's no living room because the terrace is the Best living room ever! This place highly recomended if you love the Ocean sounds and view and want to relax. . " - "First off the host was very accommodating from our initial booking. We booked one floor and later needed the second floor and he helped make it all work. The property is off a little side dirt road off a main road that takes you into a neighborhood, the property is not part of that neighborhood. It’s situated across from the ocean however the beach area isn’t the cleanest, lots of sea vegetation and unfortunately trash washed up on the beach across from the house. If you walk to the left side of the beach there was cleaner areas that way and we found multiple large conch shells which was neat. The place is close to the Estadio Cheo Cruz which was the location of where my son’s tournament. We stayed a full week and had no real issues.Note the entrance gate to the property did not function so it had to be opened manually and it would come off its track at times but it wasn’t a big deal. Also the bedrooms are the only rooms with AC, so the living area and kitchen areas were pretty warm. The host insisted we turn the AC down as cold as it would go and leave the bedroom door open during the day to try and cool off the other areas. It worked some but it was still pretty warm. We ended up not cooking as it would probably be warm in there. Keep in mind this has been an unseasonably warm summer in Puerto Rico. The only other issue was there are some tiny little ants all over the place so we kept our food items in the fridge or secured. Overall it was great, would recommend! "

Enjoy our ROOFTOP and POOL with BEACH VIEW. Near the property there are very good restaurants (usaully open weekends), if you like surfing,fishing,kayaking and mangroves this is the PERFECT SPOT.
Also in less than 5 min (by car) there is a boat ramp ,take your boat an hang out in Bahia Guayama

LOVE NATURE??? We are in a mangrove spot where you can find from manatees ( depending on season PLAYA LIMONES 5min from Villa) thru gorgeous fishes (SNORKELING TIME)

VILLA is located in a very peaceful área not crowded beaches or party spot.

We protect security of our guests. For this reason we have installed a security system. There are also the following outdoor cameras in use:
1. Outdoor camera front door entrance (covering entry area ,pool,stairs and some parking area)
2. Outdoor road camera (covers palms &hammock area and parking)
3.Outdoor camera left side/back of the house (covers outside bathroom and patio/parking area )

The house has ALEXA devices for your entertainment in kitchen ( camera at ALL moment IS and NEED to be OFF is NOT ALLOW to activate at any time)

We do also have an extra House next to this house for up to 8 more persons(if needed)

Good place for surf,kite boarding and snorkeling , also to enjoy great food nearby the property (weekends always open) weekdays around 2 or 3 restaurants you will find open.

This house offers a spacious outdoor area, relaxation, entertainment and space to share with your loved ones.

Inside, three bedrooms, each equipped with its own air conditioning mini-split unit to ensure a comfortable night sleep and TV. The main bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom offers a cozy queen-sized bed. The third bedroom is designed with a custom bunk bed arrangement, great for children or additional guests. Ideal for up to 6 guests. If you would like to accommodate more guests, please contact us, we can offer air mattresses.

You'll have two kitchens. The interior one is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, with the exception of an oven. Adjacent to the kitchen is a charming dining bar, complete with seating for six guests, a perfect setting for intimate meals or lively gatherings.

The living room is tastefully furnished and equipped with a smart TV, offering a cozy space to unwind and enjoy your favorite shows or movies.

A remodeled bathroom serve guests while inside the house. A separate toilet room and outside shower are available by the pool.

Stepping outside, you'll enjoy a bright patio area with a spacious terrace, providing ample space for outdoor dining and small events. The highlight of the outdoor space is undoubtedly the pool and jacuzzi, offering a oasis where you can chill and enjoy the weather.

Also on the outside, you'll have a washer and dryer available for use. Just bring your preferred detergent.

- "The house was great with all the amenities. There is no oven and the gas grill is actually a charcoal one so just plan for that when determining a grocery list. The hosts were welcoming and great at responding to questions. Easy check in/out process. The private pool and outdoor shower were great to have especially with kids. Each room has its own AC unit which was also nice. The only down side is the location which is about a 1.5-2 hour drive one way from the airport, ferry, beaches, and hikes. The neighbors were friendly but have some pretty loud chickens/roosters so bring ear plugs. :)"

'Casa Carite by the Lake' is a nature minimalist retreat with multiple vacation rental cabins at the lake, 60 minutes away SJU. We have several cabins perfect for couples or groups looking to relax and enjoy nature, fishing, kayaking, and outdoor living. The house and cabins can be booked individually or together as part of a package for events or friends and family gatherings.

Escape the city and connect with nature. This lake house for couples, groups and families offer a unique lodging experience. Hang out and unwind in this rustic style country house. All built of wood with doors and windows that open in an old-fashioned way. Relax in the hammock on the balcony, take out the kayaks or paddle boards to explore the lake, or soak up the sun on the dock. Enjoy night-time soundscapes featuring Coqui frogs. We're open to serve and provide everything you might need during your stay.

The interior is an open house with a full kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, air fryer, sink, refrigerator, four rooms, 4.5 bathrooms, balcony, and hammock. The location has warm water, we provide towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.

Casa Carite by the Lake encourage our guests to check-in before sunset. We may allow you to check-in earlier if the previous occupants have checked out. Maybe we'll need some time to complete the cleaning process but you're welcome to drop-off your luggage and enjoy our facilities. Let us know your check-in schedule in advance to help.

Depending on your cellular provider you will most likely have no service or one (1) bar and no data connection. Plan accordingly as you may not be able to reach us via phone call during your check in.

We're 'pet friendly' and as we are in the countryside there are dogs, cats, lizards, frogs and our beautiful coqui in the surroundings. If you don't like dogs, let us know in advance.

Don't forget your coat and be sure to bring food you would normally bring when camping (food, water, and drinks). El Merendero Bar and Grill is 7 minutes away, a great option to eat and have fun, but the nearest store is about 30 minutes away. We are open to provide everything you need depending on your need and budget. Let us know to help!

Pay attention and use caution when walking, swimming, and playing around at the property. The nearest hospital is 45 minutes away.

The use of kayaks, paddle boards and lifejackets are included at your own risk. The participation is entirely voluntary, requires signing a release and follow applicable rules and excellent standards of conduct.

- Head south on Expreso Luis A. Ferré or PR-52.
- Take exit 32 toward Cidra-Cayey-Guavate - 450 m
- Turn left onto PR-184 - 9.0 km
- Turn right onto PR-179 - 10.5 km
- Turn right onto PR-7741 - 600 m
- Slight right onto PR-742 - 1.0 km
- Turn right onto unnamed road located at kilometer (km) 1.6
- Continue straight on the unnamed road until you come to a brown gate. The brown gate is always unlocked but sometimes it is closed, if it is closed you will need to open it.

Continue through the gate until you reach the end of the road and turn right to go down the hill.

Continue down the hill, the first gate on the right hand side.
