There were some sketchy reviews, so we were skeptical, but I'm glad we decided to find out for ourselves. The only things that could have made the stay perfect would be if we had hot water for showers and they should provide rugs for the bathroom. We tracked so much sand in from the beach. Damaged by the last hurricanes the restoration in progress is amazing hats off to the owners for their courage and rebuilding this place" - "I came for a night and extended my stay. The owners are sweet and helpful. I checked in early and checked out late. They called and arranged for a taxi upon my departure. I booked the smallest room and it was much larger than I expected. The rainfall shower was a dream after being on a sailboat for a week. There is a small fridge in the room, water bottles, and an electric pot for heating water for coffee. There are also luxurious robes and fluffy towels. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner is new and efficient. I put the rooftop pool to good use and the views are amazing. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. Amazing shopping is right around the corner. I found a market within walking distance and plenty of restaurants. I walked to the hotel from the ferry and took a short taxi ride to the airport. I plan to return for a longer visit 😎"

The property has a great deck with a pool where we enjoyed a few sunsets with a great view from above Charlotte Amalie. A couple friendly dogs kept us company when on the deck and were welcome company for us. Scott was super helpful with directions from the airport and with great recommendations for our time on the island. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

- "This property was recently remodeled. It is beautiful. My sister and son stayed here for a week. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, a large kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, air fryer and dishwasher. Bonus wine/beer refrigerator. It was great having a washer and dryer. They are beach chairs and beach towels. My son really liked the Bluetooth speakers! They also provided laundry pods, bath wash, and dish soap. The property is very safe. Frequently saw security patrolling the area. The location is great. You are in front of the marina. Steps away from the pool and beach. You can walk up the hill to Sudi's Bar or walk the other way and go to the Beach Bar and breakfast spot. We had a great time here. I would definitely book here again."

The open floor plan boasts the LARGEST square footage of any 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit in the community. Our condo also happens to be the ONLY east facing 1 bedroom unit, which means you can use your private balcony all day in the relaxing shade. Or you could potentially take a relaxing swim in one of the 3 gorgeous pools located within the community or maybe even a game of tennis. Maybe you would rather take a short 2 minute walk to enjoy Bolongo Bay Beach, where you can swim, snorkel or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful view.

Step into your fully renovated kitchen featuring all the amenities needed to ensure the best possible experience without compromise. Some of these amenities include a beautiful hand made hard surface countertop with custom tile back splash, fully equipped kitchen including all essential kitchen supplies for cooking and baking. There is an over the range microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, Corelle dishes, stainless pots and pans and plenty of silverware and other essential kitchen utensils and of course a dishwasher.

Indulge in a relaxing sleep in the bedroom that features a king sized Dr Oz memory foam mattress, large Roku smart TV, blackout blinds, lots of closet space, ceiling fan, pedestal fan, matching night stands with USB charging ports and premium linens and plush pillows.

The living room is very spacious with a high end king sized Luonto sleeper sofa. Enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book or simply enjoy the sight of the ocean in our matching Luonto swivel recliner chair. There is also a Twin XL day bed with a Dr Oz memory foam mattress and 65” Smart TV. The unit has central AC which was just replaced and up-sized to maximize cooling capacity, high speed Wi-Fi internet and high capacity washer and dryer. Keyless entry for your convenience.

The bathroom is newly renovated and updated. We have ample towels for your stay. We also have beach towels for you to use when head out to the pool or to the beach.

Please note that there’s a set of stairs to get up to our condo. There’s no elevator available. There’s one parking space included. There’s a lot of taxi services in St. Thomas but renting a car is highly recommended.

About the area:
Sea Cliff is walking distance to Bolongo Bay Beach Resort where you can swim, snorkel or just relax and enjoy the view. You can also plan a sailing trip with their Heavenly Day Catamaran, dine at their Iggies Beach Bar and Grill and enjoy nightly entertainment.
We are walking distance to Mim’s Seaside Bistro. Enjoy their famous coconut curry lobster and delicious seafood dishes.

And just about 10 minutes away to Red Hook. Red Hook is the proverbial anchor of the East End of St. Thomas. Red Hook has a lot to offer! There is: a marina; fishing and boating excursions; ferries to St. John and BVI); island-style shops; restaurants and bars; offices; banks and more! Stroll, shop, have a drink or dine.

- "My wife and I stayed at this location for 4 nights before moving to a different location for a wedding we were attending. At first I was a little skeptical about the condo because of the price. I had never been to St. Thomas before and my brother said that the pricing seem a little low for some of the nicer places. We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up. Absolutely beautiful condo with a balcony that overlooks the bay. We didn't have a car, but the property is situated right between Charlotte Amelia and Red Hook, so both are a short drive away with plenty to do. Perfect size for two, with extra room for more people if needed. A couple of good restaurants in walking distance. The neighbor is quite and the few neighbors we meet were very friendly and helpful. The property owners where supper helpful with a complete book of everything you would needs, including restaurant and taxi recommendations. Anytime I had any questions about our stay, they were always available and replied very quickly. I would highly recommend this place for your next stay in St. Thomas."

Then, of course, views for days! Shibusa at Shibui is in the most private spot in the complex—on a small cul-de-sac. Steps from a gorgeous swimming pool in the sky that feels like it’s your own, it’s that secluded!

There is another (more shaded) seating area at the entrance to the residence, next to the outside wall. This shared area (with the downstairs unit) has a pergola with table and chairs, and a propane grill

Really important in the tropics are things like air conditioning and good screens—we have them!

The famous beaches of St. Thomas are less than 10 minutes from your doorstep, and Magen's Bay Beach —known as one of the best beaches in the world— is only 15 minutes away! Downtown Charlotte Amalie with its restaurants, bars and shopping is 10 minutes away, and historic Frenchtown is only 5 minutes away.

Other things to note
- Shibusa is an eco-friendly home. We operate partially on solar power in the day (our fans and lights) and electricity in the evening. Our water is collected from our own cistern and is heated with an eco heater that heats up within 5 minutes. All of this is wonderfully friendly to the environment, with no inconvenience to our guests.

VERY IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NEED A CAR!!! Taxis are expensive and may not pick you up or drop you off where we are if there are not enough people to make it worth their trip! Driving on the left side is quite easy, going slow is the key!

Perfect East End location at Point Pleasant - 2 minutes to Coki Beach, 4 mins to Sapphire Beach, next door to Margaritaville, 5 minutes to night life and restaurants in Red Hook, Marinas, Fishing and Boat Charters!

I recommend a car although taxis are available

Interesting enough, St. Thomas has few street signs, so a GPS is important. I used a favorite maps app and Map Quest. Waze was not very effective.

If you are new Airbnb, please keep in mind that you are renting a private villa and you won't have the same services and staff available to you as you would in a hotel (such as concierge service, daily housekeeping, linen changes or turn down service). Our vacation home is your home for the week or for however long you have booked!

Occasionally the island electric company WAPA will have an issue with their service and you may experience an unexpected power outage; sometimes this is island-wide and sometimes it only affects certain areas but it has nothing to do with the resort or our villa so unfortunately there isn’t anything we can do about it. It could be for 10 minutes or for several hours.
Should this happen, you’ll also temporarily lose running water (which also means no toilet flushing) but there should be bottles of water under the bathroom sink to pour in the tank if needed. Should you experience a power outage, the restaurants on Point Pleasant have independent generators and so does the lobby, but it’s a perfect opportunity to unplug and go to the beach or explore different places on the island. Most locals are used to this but I truly understand this is not the norm for everyone else – hopefully you can roll with it and look around at the beautiful views and appreciate the beauty along with the quirks of island life!

As private Hosts, we offer unique dates in our property and highly recommend purchasing "cancel for any reason" travel insurance which may cover many risks including airline cancellations and health emergencies at a minimal cost. We do not provide refunds due to airline cancellations, health emergencies, or power/wifi outages.

The location of the resort is so convenient to so many beaches as well as restaurants and to the ferry. The condo supplied everything we needed as well has extra treats in the fridge. My husband and I aren’t the best sleepers but we slept like babies on the comfortable mattress and appreciated the well working AC. and ceiling fans. We enjoyed going to The Sun and Sea restaurant that sits right by the water on the resort when we just felt like relaxing. Great affordable food and drinks with awesome owners and staff. We were a little apprehensive at first as there were no reviews, but as soon as we met Kris and boarded the boat, all our apprehension went away! Kris is a very kind and patient person. He is a very experienced sailor and told us many stories of his past sailing expeditions – including going to Antarctica! The boat had plenty of space for us all to spread out. We had sent Kris our ideal itinerary in advance, and he told us it was optimistic. We had great weather for our week, and were able to get in every spot we wanted to stop at, and then some! The first night Kris had Painkillers ready for us – and they were amazing - even better than that at the Soggy Dollar Bar! We cooked most of our meals on the boat – which took some time as the stove and oven are a bit small for cooking for 9 people – but we had no issues. We helped Kris with the moorings and he even let my son drive the boat at times. We very much appreciated all the amenities on the boat including: snorkel gear, a paddleboard, a single kayak and an inflatable tandem kayak, pool noodles and chair floats to float in. Kris also has an Optimist which is a mini sailboat that he used to teach kids how to sail on. Most of our group had a turn learning to sail – even the men! Kris took his time and taught each person individually as much as much as they wanted. If you are considering this kind of vacation – we highly recommend Kris and his catamaran!"
