THE SPACE:
The entrance to Coral Bayside is located down a private, exterior staircase with only 12 steps with a handrail and solar lights. Coral Bayside is located only 100 feet above Coral Bay and your wraparound deck commands incredible 220 degree views of dozens of boats anchored just below you. Your complimentary Welcome Basket includes Two-1 liter bottles of Le Bleu water, coffee, tea, sugar and Splenda, 2% milk or soy. We will provide you with coffee and tea throughout your stay. Please note that the water at Coral Bayside is collected from rainwater that is treated with a dual filtration system then ultra violet light for maximum purification. Unlike most rentals, our water is perfectly safe to drink. We also provide 2 yoga mats should you like to practice during your stay. BEDROOM:
The studio has a whisper-quiet split air conditioner with remote. Or, for those who prefer a more natural experience, the room has 2 sliding glass doors with screens, 2 screened windows and a ceiling fan. It is furnished with a king size bed with a Deluxe Sealy Posturepedic mattress covered with a pillow soft mattress cover and super soft 500 count Pima cotton sheets and 4 deluxe soft king size down pillows. It also has a 5’ lighted slate and copper waterfall inside the studio that's on a timer so you can fall asleep listening to the gentle sounds of the water fall. For those who like to sleep late, your studio is equipped with light reducing mini blinds. Laundry wash, dry and fold service is available at $20 per load. DECK:
Your private wraparound porch is cool and breezy and furnished with large, luxuriously cushioned wicker lounge chairs with matching ottomans and decorative stone table custom-made on St. John with etched map of St. John. For your dining pleasure, a wrought iron bistro table for 2 and cushioned chairs are provided. There is also a table and chairs stored in the closet for indoor dining. You will also find a clothes line with clothes pins and a free standing drying rack to hang your beach towels and swim suits to dry.

BEACH/OUTDOOR GEAR:
We provide a soft-sided shoulder cooler with re-usable frozen ice pack (located in the freezer of your mini fridge), flotation mat and 4 plush oversize beach towels. For those adventurers We provide FREE high-end snorkel gear kits. We also provide a large canvas beach bag to hold all your beach towels and gear.

ROOM SERVICE:
Coral Bayside is unique in that it is the only rental available on St. John where your host, Julie Van Pelt, the executive chef and owner of East West Catering (retired after 22 years in the high end villas of St. John), and offers a room service menu for guests of Coral Bayside when available. Once you've booked with us, we will email you the menu if you wish. Julie features delicious cuisine in the East West style featuring fresh local fish and local, organic produce. Julie is also committed to vegetarians & vegans as well as those who are gluten-free or have food allergies. Enjoy stars and moonlight on your private deck at Coral Bayside with dinner by St. John's premier chef delivered to your door freshly prepared and ready to eat.

TRANSPORTATION
We will arrange for a taxi to pick you up in Cruz Bay and bring you to the property and return you to the ferry dock at the end of your stay. Additionally, DO NOT invite any guests to visit you while staying at Coral Bayside studio that are smokers or vapers. We are completely serious about this issue so please be honest with us and look elsewhere for accommodations if you are smokers or vapers. We are committed to keeping our Coral Bayside studio pristine (IT HAS NEVER BEEN SMOKED/VAPED IN) and a nicotine free space for those that enjoy a clean, unpolluted environment.

Everyone on St. John gets all of their water from rainfall collected from the roof in large tanks under the house so we ask that you be conservative with your water usage. Our water, unlike most other rentals, is treated by dual filtration and ultra violet light to kill any bacteria and is perfectly safe to drink.

- Please conserve electricity! Electricity in the Virgin Islands is several times what it costs in the States. Please be mindful of electricity use: turn off all lights, fans, fountains and A/C when not in the studio. Your conservation allows us to offer you such reasonable rates.

- 2 large folding luggage racks are provided in your walk in closet. All luggage must be placed on these racks. Never on dresser, bed or floor.

- Please do not leave any food out in the open either on the deck or in the studio. Place all open, non-refrigerated items in the Ziplock bags provided and any refrigerated items in one of the two mini fridges.

-We provide a microwave and toaster oven in your kitchenette but we do not allow ANY open flame or electric electric cooking devices to be used inside the studio. You may also use our full size gas grill on the main level upon request.

- We provide you with a covered plastic trash bin. Please tie up your trash bags provided and place them in the covered bin making sure the lid is secure. We will dispose of your trash for you when you bring the full bin to the top of your stairs.

- Please hose off all beach and sandy gear at the top of your stairs. There is a hose provided at the top of your stairs for your use to wash your beach chairs, feet and any sandy gear.

- We provide 4 large plush beach towels. Do not take the white bath towels to the beach.

- We urge you to make use of the St. John guide books provided, but please do not take them out onto the beach or on the water with you.

- ABSOLUTELY nothing in toilet but toilet paper. No feminine hygiene products (condoms) or any other paper items or foreign objects. There is no municipal sewage systems here on St. John to flush into. Instead every home has a self contained sewage treatment system. These systems are eco friendly and very sensitive and do not tolerate anything but waste and toilet paper or they will malfunction and back up. Trust us, not something you ever want to experience, and will be very expensive.

- ABSOLUTELY nothing down the bathroom sink as well. Same system as above.

-While you will enjoy total privacy on your own deck your hosts also live in the building so we ask that you be considerate and keep the noise levels down. If you want to get wild and loud please visit one of St. John's nightspots.

- "This was our 5th time to visit St John, and by far the best! Accommodations from Jack and Julie were exactly what we needed for our 8 day stay. The studio was clean and stocked with all the necessary supplies, including water. Julie's banana bread was a delicious breakfast for us. The studio was perfectly located over Coral Bay, close to restaurants and grocery stores. The expansive deck right outside the studio doors was fantastic. Morning sunrise and evening breezes were perfect for relaxing. We rented one of their Jeeps, that Jack takes very good care of, and drove all over the island. They provided everything that we needed for the beach: chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkel gear, loungers. All that really made our stay easy and relaxing. Our first stay in Coral Bay was fantastic and we will definitely return to Jack & Julie. Highly, highly, highly recommend!"

It's a perfect location to watch the sunrise while resting in a lounger, sipping your morning coffee- or perhaps sipping a frosty frozen treat while watching the moon's reflection on Coral Bay. - "Check-in was easy and property manger was very responsive and flexible with check-in. House is in great condition and well provisioned. Hard to beat the view. In a great location to the northshore beaches but long drive from Cruz Bay. No location on the island works for everything. Highly recommend. Would stay here again." - "The house was very spacious and had amazing views. The kitchen was fully equipped and very well stocked with handy pantry extras. The counters seemed like they weren’t super clean but I wiped them and it was fine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable with good mattresses, pillows and linens. Be aware there is only an outdoor staircase to the lower bedrooms so I was a little nervous with my kiddos downstairs but it was fine because they’re on the older end. I probably should’ve realized from the description but it didn’t really occur to me. The pool was a good size for the kids to play in and my husband and I to cool off and relax. And of course the views are incredible. Plenty of seating around the pool as well. We had good Wi-Fi and Mark was very helpful in meeting us at the base of the mountain and showing us around the house after guiding us up. If you’ve not been to St. John before the steep roads can be a little scary but you get used to it. The only part of our stay I wasn’t really satisfied with was that the washing machine is a front loader that had gotten mold on the gasket. It wasn’t a huge deal to me because we had enough swimsuits and clothes, so I didn’t bring it up to Mark, but if I was counting on doing laundry I would have. I did have other questions and he was helpful and responsive."

Coral Bayview sits 100' above Coral Harbor off a paved street and enjoys magnificent 220 degree views from your private deck, especially sunrise and moon rises. BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms have super quiet split A/C units with an additional ceiling fan. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with a pillow soft mattress cover and deluxe, soft, 500 count Pima cotton sheets and 4 deluxe soft king size pillows. A dresser, two night stands and closet complete the room. White noise machines are in both bedrooms. A hotel style safe in one of the bedrooms keeps your Passports and other valuables secure.

BATHROOM
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap are provided as are 4 sets of ultra-soft bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths.

LAUNDRY
A full size stacking washer and dryer (including laundry detergent/bleach/spot remover) are in the bathroom so you don't have to pack a lot of clothes.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is very large and has all that you need to prepare your own meals including oven, microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee(with filters), tea pot, pots and pans, tupperware, ziplock baggies, food film, aluminum foil, and all the china and cutlery you would ever need.

MEDIA
The living room has a 55" flat screen TV, with Dish satellite TV with Netflix and all the Dish TV channels. WiFi/Internet is provided at no charge as are several multi-port charging stations. (guests must bring their own adapters and chargers).

DECK
The oversize wrap around deck is filled with seating to accommodate any mood. There is a teak table and chairs for outside dining, a hanging swing for morning coffee or reflection, and four captains chairs to gain a commanding view of Coral Bay and the Caribbean beyond. Just beyond the deck are oleander, palms, bougainvillea, agave, and tamarind.

BEACH AND HIKING GEAR
St. John IS paradise for active vacationers. We provide you with a cooler with ice packs, flotation mat, beach towels, adjustable hiking poles, and beach chairs that double as backpacks to get you to those private beaches only accessible to adventurous hikers. We also supply you with numerous books and maps that offer clear, easy instructions on every beach, hike, and landmark on the island. High-end snorkels kits are provided for FREE. And if you still have questions, our Property Managers will be happy to assist you.

You will have exclusive and private access to the home via the front porch with no steps to negotiate. Jack & Julie, the Property Managers live next door and are always available to assist you. They are a VRBO "Super Host" and he is also the best auto mechanic on the island which is a massive benefit if you lock your keys in your Jeep or get a flat tire. The home offers complete privacy and the Property Managers will only interact with you at your request.

- "We had such a wonderful time at Jack & Julie's place! They communicated all of the ferry information beforehand so we'd know where to go and had a taxi waiting at the ferry dock to take us to the condo. It was pouring rain when we arrived - Jack met us at the taxi with umbrellas and helped us get into the condo. The condo itself was lovely. Everything you could need in the kitchen, eating areas both inside and outside, comfy beds with cold A/C, and a swing that overlooks Coral Bay (incredible sunrise!). One of the best things was being able to drink the tap water - it's triple-filtered and honestly better than some bottled water. We were able to save so much money on water during our stay! All of the extras that Jack & Julie provided really helped make it a relaxing vacation. They provide beach towels, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and snorkel gear - so awesome! And, of course, Julie's homemade bread for breakfast was just the icing on the cake - so so delicious. Jack & Julie are the nicest folks, and their place was such a lovely place to stay. 10/10 recommend!"

- "This was our 6th visit to St. John. The cottage was just what we needed. This is the first time we stayed on a property where the owner was actually onsite. Judy was a wonderful host! We were so grateful to have her staying in her apartment below us for our visit. Our trip was unusual as my husband had an accident and needed medical care. Judy was a tremendous support and resource for us! She even offered to drive us into the clinic. The porch on the cottage was a lovely spot to relax. And we made good use of it as my husband needed a day or two at homebase because of his injuries. Fergus, her little dog was so sweet! He would come up quietly when we would get back from the beach, greeting us, and welcoming us “home.” Once we said hello he toddled off. He’d just come up to say hello! Judy was there when we needed her but mostly busy with what she had going on, so it wasn’t intrusive at all having her below us. Despite my husband’s accident, we were able to relax and enjoy the rest of our stay. We loved that the home was self sufficient with energy and true to the concept of ecotourism, but still had the modern necessities. We cook in every night and we had everything we needed. I know that the constant fresh air that came through the cottage with those wonderful tropical breezes helped my husbands skin wounds to heal so much faster than if we had come back stateside right after his accident. Outside you can enjoy the cool sea breezes year round on the pool deck, which is furnished with chaises and chairs. There is a 42 foot pool to enjoy after a day at the beach. The beautiful north shore beaches (Maho Bay, Hawks Nest, Trunk Bay, etc.) are an easy 15 minute ride from the villa, as are the South Shore beaches (Salt Pond Bay) and the East End (Haulover, Round Bay).

Wake up each morning to stunning sunrises as you enjoy your coffee on either of two expansive balconies. There is nothing like enjoying a candle lit dinner and glass of wine on the veranda overlooking the breathtaking views of the Caribbean. It certainly feels like you are suspended on a cloud! From there, explore South or East to the less populated beaches like Salt Pond and Hansen Bay.

Sailors Cottage is is a stone home with nautical accents. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a meal at home and there is even a dishwasher to help with the clean up. The water is triple filtered and UV treated, so no need for plastic bottles. The property is beautifully landscaped with many different types of palms and lots of colorful flowers.

The property offers 2 bedrooms, one is a primary king suite with a bathroom, the second bedroom is more of a kids bunk room with 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have AC units for a great nights sleep. There is a second full bathroom in the main living area. (If you are looking for 2 couples, we have another rental called Blue Kai which offers 2 king suites)
We are kid friendly, but do want to point out that the bedrooms are on the lower level and both have exterior entrances. While the doors are very close, this may not be the best for very young children. The pool is on the upper level with the main living areas, the stairs between the 2 levels are exterior stairs and it is not possible to lock off access to the pool. We have had children of all ages stay with us and we leave it to your comfort level and discretion.
The road to this property is mostly gravel with a few paved sections. It is a bit adventurous and we recommend a Jeep or something similar, it is not dangerous but you will need a bit of ground clearance.

Drake's View has the same vista named by the magazine Caribbean Travel as 'the best view in the Caribbean'; a spectacular view of the British Virgin Islands and the East Shore of St. John. The villa has been voted 'Top Vacation Rental' for two years in a row now.

Drake's View is a four bedroom, 4.5 bath villa with a heated swimming pool, and hot tub that sleeps up to 8 people. Five tiled decks and a large tiled front porch provide ample outdoor lounging areas. One bedroom is in a separate cottage.

The traditional architecture of the house entrance with yellow stucco, red roof, and simple columns contrasts with a dramatic facade of glass along the east wall. No matter where you look in the house or cottage, you have a fantastic vista of Coral Bay, Drake's Passage, and the British Virgin Islands.

On a clear day, you can see the Baths at Virgin Gorda. Rainbows, mangrove cuckoos, kestrels and red tailed hawks are common sights. Drake's View has the ambiance of a home rather than a rental. The large great room is furnished with Indonesian, American antiques, and comfortable, plantation style furniture. The villa is filled with local art and a large reef painting and mobile by Robert Tharsing.

The well equipped kitchen is very spacious and includes one of two dining areas. Three bedrooms have king sized beds and one has a king, convertible to twins. Each bedroom has air conditioning, private bath and Swedish TempurPedic mattresses.

One to four couples or a large family will have ample room for privacy, different activities,and for relaxation at Drake's View.

Drake's View is centrally located, on Bordeaux Mtn the highest point on St. John. The roads leading to Drake's View are all paved. It is surrounded by lush local vegetation and a large, terraced tropical garden with lime, coconut and mango trees. It is a six minute drive to the Northshore Beaches; three minutes to the Reef Bay Trail; ten minutes to Coral Bay; and fifteen minutes the Cruz Bay. From the front door, you can hike the Bordeaux Mountain Trail to Lameshur Beach in one hour.

St. John has fabulous snorkeling, diving, and hiking. The snorkeling is among the best in the Caribbean. Since 2/3 of the island is National Park, many beaches have amenities but no developments mar the expanse of sand and palms. From St. John, it is easy to take day trips to visit other islands such as the popular yachting destinations of Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Peter, and Norman Islands.

The Park Service also offers snorkeling tours, hikes, birding tours, sails, archaeological digs, and lectures. Numerous park trails lead to stone ruins of old sugar mills and plantations, petroglyphs, and even waterfalls if rainfall is plentiful.

St. John is reached from St. Thomas via a twenty min. ferry ride.

Besides nature, the only distant sounds were roosters crowing and an occasional truck on the mountain highway. Dorothy and the maintenance/cleaning staff do an excellent job with the property. Every room is fairly comparable and a comfortable size. The house is large enough that we could break into smaller groups for some privacy too."

Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.

The Lower Suite includes a living room with dining area, kitchenette with a conduction cooktop, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave and full refrigerator. The private bedroom features a queen sized bed with sliding doors to access the spacious and unique bathroom. The balcony offers an electric grill, teak table with seating for four and two teak lounge chairs perfect for morning coffee and a good book. The view extends from Coral Bay all the way to the British Virgin Islands.

Coral Bay is the quieter side of St. John and is only a short drive from the stunning North Shore beaches. We are also close to several amazing hiking trails.

Just down the road you will find a fully stocked grocery store, restaurants, bars and shops.

Due to our location in Coral Bay, we do require our guests to obtain a rental vehicle and do recommend four wheel drive.

- "My family recently enjoyed a lovely abbreviated stay at Blue Palm during a visit to St. John for my husband’s 50th birthday. Due to airline errors, we missed our original connection in Miami and were stranded there during the first two nights of our reservation. Keleigh was in constant contact with me during that time and tried to help us find solutions to get us to St. John faster and change our car rental. Upon our late evening arrival, she went above any beyond to ensure my weary teens had dinner and groceries for the next day. When we finally met her at our new car rental location, all I could do was hug her and cry from gratitude! She saved our trip and my sanity in countless ways that week. The property is as clean and beautiful as it’s pictured, and the views of Coral Bay are amazing! It was unseasonably warm during our stay, so the efficient a/c units in the bedrooms were welcomed at bedtime! All of the appliances are new models and in good repair. Our iPhones also had excellent wifi reception. Be prepared to conserve energy and water while on island. This was our first trip to St. John, and the Caribbean for that matter, and we somehow didn’t get the memo about conservation. *facepalm* We should’ve assumed the need for conservation because we often vacation in the Rockies, and resource conservation is important there as well. This property felt like home during the mere four nights we were able to stay, and we would book this location again in a heartbeat."

Welcome to the Verde Cottage - your peaceful island getaway on Bordeaux Mountain!

The 2BR/1BA Cottage is a 20 minutes drive from Cruz Bay, located high atop Bordeaux Mountain. The Cottage is accessed by a long flight of stairs (67 steps in total) which is your gateway to peace and privacy.

The Verde (‘Green’) Cottage is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, enveloping you in the sights & sounds of nature. There is a beautiful water view peeking through the valley as you look East toward the rising sun.

Upon entry to the Cottage you will find a simple but efficient kitchen on your left and the main living area with a small seating area and 40” Samsung Smart TV on your right. The bathroom with a washer/dryer is straight ahead.

Up a set of stairs is a cozy loft bedroom fully enclosed by railings with a private dressing area. The queen bed looks out on a bonus water view above the treetops of the valley. Note: This bedroom is not suitable/ideal for young children because of the steep and narrow loft stairs.

The loft area, living room, kitchen and bathroom are in the main part of the home and are cooled by an air-conditioning unit located in the loft.

Back downstairs, stepping out through French doors onto the screen porch you will have your choice of comfy lounge areas - both swinging and seating options! There is a lovely dining table with seating for 4 placed on the corner of the screen porch.

The private Master bedroom is separately accessed from the screen porch. It is small but comfortable with a queen bed, dresser, comfortable mattress and soft linens. You will have full access to the Verde Cottage and private parking area during your stay.

Situated high atop Bordeaux Mountain at 1100 feet elevation the Verde Cottage offers lush mountain views and a water view of the East End of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.

The home is located in a very quiet residential area, on a safe and peaceful road with no pass-through traffic. You won't hear the sounds of roosters calling, trucks rumbling, or the bustle of town - just the peace and tranquility of your lush natural surroundings!

Bordeaux Mountain is slightly cooler than the rest of the island (you may want a long-sleeved option for the evenings) and the home faces east to make the most of the tropical tradewinds.

The Verde Cottage is located in close proximity to several V.I. National Park trailheads:
Bordeaux Mountain Trail (3/4 mile away)
Reef Bay Trail (1.5 mile)
L'Esperance Trail (3 miles)

The island is 70% protected by National Park and you will drive through a large section of it on your way to the home.

A rental car is absolutely necessary to access the house, but 4WD is not essential (unless you want to explore the further reaches of St. John!).

There is a large private parking area with space for 2 vehicles.

It's hard to find a quieter, more relaxing accommodation on St. John. Surrounded by jungle without a neighbor or road in sight, the Verde Cottage offers peace and tranquility.

The home is located 20 minutes from Cruz Bay, 12 min to Coral Bay and 10 min to the beautiful North Shore beaches.

As previously mentioned, there is a long (long!) flight of stairs to access the Cottage, please be aware there are 67 steps! This is only a property suitable for fit / active travelers.

Our cottage is nearly off-grid, featuring solar and Tesla Powerwalls for uninterrupted power (we ARE grid tied for those shady days). You will also enjoy fast and reliable internet as well.

The Verde Cottage is the place to fully unwind and recharge in a natural setting. You’ll enjoy soaking in the sounds of the peeping coqui (tree frogs) by night and be soothed by the tropical Caribbean breezes by day. We look forward to welcoming you!

Water + Sky is a 2BR/2.5BA villa at a 350 ft. elevation offering a private hot tub and unforgettable sunrise views over Coral Bay Harbor, East End and the BVI. Enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze from the private bedroom balcony, or the wrap-around porch on the main level!

The two level design offers both comfort and functionality with a main level great room, kitchen, living and dining area. Your 2 air conditioned bedrooms on the lower level each offer a private en-suite bathroom.

Enjoy the open concept living room with dining area and kitchen on the top floor with a wrap around deck on the ocean side, fitted with Adirondack chairs that provides ocean views and cool Caribbean breezes all day long. Head down the interior stairs to the 2 primary bedrooms directly across from each other. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower featuring a natural stone floor. Another private deck is in front of the 2 bedrooms and also offers seating with Adirondack chairs and a hammock.

Other things to note...
The road up to our home is bumpy and we can't control that. A 4x4 is suggested on St. John to enjoy all the beaches and hikes off the beaten path. The Coral Bay ocean view from our villa is spectacular, one of the best on Saint John and worth the climb. You’ll enjoy down island views to the East End and the BVI.

Tucked past the Tower villa at the end of our upper road is the Guava Villa.

When, you are in a spacious living area with large kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances including electric cooktop and oven, French door fridge with deep drawer freezer, as well as dishwasher for quick clean ups. The deep sink has a garbage disposal. Coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, microwave, toaster, juicer and other miscellaneous small kitchen appliances allow you to have all the conveniences of home.

A comfortable sofa and coffee table highlight the living room as well as a smart TV that can allow you to Netflix binge after a day at the beach. All televisions have access to Dish TV. The living area is rounded out with a dining room table for four to host gourmet meals or card games, visit our office for a selection of games. Through the living areas floor to ceiling windows, you will find a large balcony with stunning views of Coral Bay and the rest of the East End of St. John, as well as the British Virgin Islands and the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Outdoor living room and dining area make it possible to spend each waking hour outdoors, comfortably. Back inside the end of the living area is the bedroom with a smart TV, king sized bed, closet and full bathroom with shower.

The bathroom has recessed lighting for that late-night bathroom run without waking the whole house with bright lights as well as a beautiful tile and glass shower stall. Every indoor space has central air and fans for your comfort. Additionally, each home has a washer and dryer. Outside the front door is an outdoor shower, grill for your fresh catch and chairs and cooler (cold beers not included) to make your beach trip as easy as possible.

You will be less than a three minute drive down to Coral Bay with its restaurants and grocery stores. Lunazul Cottage is on a paved road high above the beautiful Caribbean waters. Parking area is provided with a walk down stone stairs to the Cottage. To achieve a view like this, it is important to be able to navigate stairs comfortably.

Whether you are snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs, hiking through lush trails, or sailing to nearby islands, St John offers endless adventures right at your fingertips.

The Orchid villa is named for the fauna planted around the patios. It sits on our upper road between the Tower and Royal Palm villas.

Once you pull your eyes away from the view, you'll appreciate the comfortable and stylish, fully air conditioned, open concept living, dining and kitchen spaces. Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.

As part of the experience and adventure when visiting St. John, we do always recommend renting a car. It's truly the best way to get around at your own pace and explore our beautiful island freely. We recommend booking this reservation well in advance if you’re booking a St John Jeep rental as they tend book up quickly both in season and out. Rentals from St Thomas are a great option too if you are willing to navigate taking the car ferry over to St John and back. It’s really not too difficult. Be sure to add a service package for St John when picking up so if you have any trouble they will handle getting you service on St John. :)

The locals use the word limin’ as an expression for hanging out. The word is associated with sitting under a lime tree or having nothing more demanding to do than squeezing limes. In honor of this local vernacular, we painted our home lime green and named her Lime Time. We hope during your stay here, you embrace this laid back attitude – it’s Lime Time!

Lime Time is a West Indies style home with high open beamed ceilings and splashes of Caribbean colors on the inside to invite you to come limin’. Lime Time is a private two-bedroom, one bath cottage nestled just above Coral Bay with both water views and valley views. From the deck, you will enjoy cooling trade wind breezes, see spectacular sunrises over the water, a rainbow in the valley after a rain shower, the ruins of a windmill constructed in the 1700s, and very little light pollution for incredible stargazing. The kitchen and living space are open concept with tons of counter space making it feel spacious and allowing ample room to cook, eat, and relax. There is a table for 6 both inside and outside and a full kitchen in case you just want to grill out and lime out. On the back deck is a hot tub and outdoor shower – both private yet with a view! Lime Time is perfect for a romantic getaway, for two couples, or a family of 4.

To add to your comfort, the cottage has battery backup should the island loose power. You are a half a mile away from the heart of Coral Bay - Love City Market, Lime Out, Johnny Lime, Jolly Dog, etc. And just a mile away from the famous Skinny Legs and Rhumb Lines!

Rent a Jeep as some of the best beaches require high clearance and are not paved. About 1/3 mile of the road to Lime Time is unpaved.
