While this house is in the mountains top notch restaurants, hiking and everything PR has to offer are within a short drive. The airport is 45min from the house, Condado beach is only 30 min, Palmas del Mar beach is 45 min to the east side, while taking the ferry in Fajardo to Vieques or Culebra will only take about 55 minutes.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is a great, safe, gated community with security guards at the gate and guards making constant rounds. Every neighbor is very respectful to each other and very nice.

Getting around

It is necessary to rent a car**.

The house is located 18 miles from Condado- San Juan.

Public transportation on the island doesn't work as well as it does in larger US cities. Large families will be able to fit up to 5 Cars in our driveway & garage. There's also more parking in the back if needed.

House Rules

There's simple basic rules, no smoking or fireworks inside the house, don't break anything and everything will be great.

- "Very much enjoyed the location. For what the place offered, it was inexpensive. Had a large living and kitchen area. Huge patio right by the living area for hanging out, exceptionally good during the days when it was windy and relaxing. Lower patio has a large space we rarely used, EXCEPT for the pool room outside. Bedrooms were great and each had their own PTAC unit for cooling. The only complaint, if any, would be that there is no AC in the living areas outside of the bedrooms. But, with it likely being a remodel, it made sense. Even during the heat wave while we were there, the wind blowing through on the patio kept us comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you have a group of 4 or more."

We have a fully modernized living area with 5 rooms four bathrooms and his own laundry. We have a place with chairs, tables, its own bar, a second kitchen and private bathrooms. For your fun we have a tennis and basketball court, GYM, Game room with queen sofa bed, swimming pool, billiards, ping pong, BBQ area, grill a place for children to play and much more to offer. - "We loved our stay at Hacienda Trinity! We had a group of 10 adults (friends and family). The 5 bedrooms, fully furnished with king size beds were perfect for us! 3 out of the 5 bedrooms have their own bathroom, two of which also have a deck. The other two bedrooms, that share a hallway bathroom, have sliding doors that overlook the beautiful, castle-like terrace and pool. There are also two additional bathrooms downstairs in the covered patio and exercise room. Kitchen was well stocked and even had a Keurig, Ninja blender, toaster, and mini oven/air fryer! We cooked a lot of our meals at home. This house is really amazing with all it has to offer! From big TVs, ping pong table, pool table, arcade room, tennis/basketball court, kids playground, generously sized pool and hot tub! The list is never ending! It also had a separate “outdoor” kitchen downstairs, outdoor bar by the pool, outdoor bbq and a separate area to roast a whole pig should you choose to. I can’t speak enough of the gorgeous Mountain View’s and beautiful terrace along with the sound of the coqui frogs! I am in love with this place! I also don’t have enough words to explain how nice, responsive, helpful and attentive Ricardo was with us. We will most definitely return! ❤️💙"

In an adjacent structure you will have access to a traditional bathroom with a shower, small refrigerator, and microwave. You will have the basic commodities but live like Grandpa.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire property. The grandpa's house and the mason house (where the traditional bathroom with shower, refrigerator, and microwave are located).

This is a rural and country property, surrounded by nature and creeks, with direct access to Cidra Lake. Drive carefully, but all vehicles can get access without problems. Vehicles like a Toyota Camry, SUV, or 4x4.

Other things to note:
Use only Google Maps to drive to the property; you can get lost if you use other apps like Apple Maps.
Remember this is a rural area with just a few traffic lights; we highly recommend arriving early the 1st time to get familiarized with the area.

You will be in direct contact and access with the nature, flora, and fauna. If you do not like bugs or forest animals, this experience is not the right one for you.

Welcome to our beautiful house in Caguas, where you will enjoy the mountain views and nature sounds. The house is equipped with solar energy system, water cistern, A/C unit in each room, high speed internet, laundry with washer/dryer.

The house offers 3 bedrooms and a TV room. Kitchen, dining and living room. 3 full bathrooms. A terrace and deck overlooking the mountains. Very safe neighborhood tucked in the mountains. Still close to center, stores and restaurants. The house is about 40 min/ 24 miles from San Juan airport and 15 minutes from the center of Caguas.
Some of the amenities provided include hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, paper towel, toilet paper , dish soap, and a dish sponge. While we make sure to provide you with the essentials, please note that we do not offer unlimited disposable amenities. 1 bath towel per guest and beach towels. It is your responsibility to review the services we provide and stock with anything else you may need for your stay. Gas for the grill is provided.
Because coffee is important to us, we provide a small bag of coffee grounds for your first cup in the morning.
The house is in the countryside, and you can find insects, mosquitoes, ants, domestic animals (roosters, cats, dogs), among others around the property.
The house is on a hill and parts of the roads leading to the home are narrow and steep but drivable with a regular car, a truck or 4 WD isn’t necessary.
Detailed information on how to arrive to the house will be provided along with phone numbers you could call in case you miss a turn :)

House Manual/Rules:
- No smoking, no vaping.
- No parties or events allowed.
- Turn off AC units if you are going to be out for most of the day.
- Please leave the house neat and free of rubbish on your departure to avoid being charge an extra fee.
- Wash dishes after use.
-Please discard food waste and clean grill after use accordingly to maintain the control of pests, insects, and malodor.
- No drinks and no sitting on the pool table, cover back when done.
- Take trash out to large black bin by the laundry room.
- No extra guests allowed.

In the pantry cabinet you will find a first aid kit, umbrella, flash light and fire extinguisher.

Parking: Feel free to park top or lower level. The main entrance to the house is on the top level. If you drive a low car, be advised that the underside of the car may rub the ground as you enter the top level garage.

The space
Brand New home at Cayey, PR.
-Located in the mountains of Cayey very close to the city (7-10 mins driving) and Cayey’s best restaurants.

Enjoy the peace and privacy of cayey’s rural area while also having cayey’s urban areas very close to you! Only 7 mins from highway and city! You need a car to move around, uber is NOT accessible in the area. The house is about 40 minutes from San Juan, the Int. Airport and Old San Juan and about 1.5 hours from El Yunque.

House is a small 2 story building with an AMAZING view from every part of the house. It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

In the second floor we have 2 bedrooms , master room has a king sized bed and a whole bathroom , second room has a full sized bed. In the first floor we have equipped Kitchen with stove, fridge, air fryer, microwave and coffee maker. We also have in the first floor the dining room, family and 1/2 bathroom . We have tv in each room and in the dining room as well as a/c in both rooms, kitchen and living room. We also have Bose sound system, pool , garden, outdoor patio furniture, fire pit, outdoor table, private parking and wifi.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

SECURITY CAMERAS: Video surveillance cameras are installed in the entrance of the property, the parking and pool area .

POOL MAINTENANCE: The pool man may pass by during your stay to clean the pool. If you have any inconvenience with this and don’t wish to have maintenance during your stay please let us know so we can rearrange his visit.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Sleeps 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king sized bed. The second room has a full sized bed and a queen sized air mattress.

LOCATION:
La Casita Negra is perfectly located in the mountains, the rural area of Cayey and 7 minutes away from the highway and city. We have great restaurants nearby, bakery, gas stations, pharmacies,Walmart, mall, theaters and fast foods 7-10 mins driving distance. We are about 45 mins driving from San Juan PR , the airport, el viejo San Juan , San Juan beaches, condado, Isla verde and many other places to visit.
Other things to note
POOL MAINTENANCE may pass by to clean during your stay. If you have any inconvenience with that please notify us so that we can postpone pool maintenance until your checkout.

CHECK IN: strongly suggest your check in time is while there is still daylight since it is easier to find any place you visit for the first time .

My tiny home is a unique place to stay, it is secluded, very secure, brand new and lakefront in the mountains of PR. Everything is close by, like restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, a Walgreens 1 minute away and just a 45 minute drive from the airport and Old San Juan. You will absolutely love to stay here. Its a romantic and adventurous escapade, but also fun and exiting to go with friends and family. THE RENTAL INCLUDES A 2 PPL KAYAK, 4 PPL PEDAL BOAT, BBQ W/ STOVE & NETFLIX TO CHILL.
The space
The tiny home has a Kitchenette, a mezzanine with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed. The outside area is just beautiful and super private. We have a parking spot for our guests. Once you arrive, its a short walk, like 2 minutes from the main house to the tiny home, we have a golf cart to help you or you can use it from the tiny to the parking. This TH is definitely an expirience you won't forget.

You have your own parking space, once you park, you pass through the main house terrace (stairs) and then you walk all the way to the Tiny Home, its a short walk, 280 feets exactly from the parking space.

Welcome to our charming rustic retreat nestled in the mountains of Cayey! Located in a small gated community with two other houses, our tranquil escape is just a 5-minute drive from Highway PR-52 E.

We're delighted to host you! Your apartment is conveniently attached to the rear of the house. After parking in front, a pleasant stroll along the terrace and patio leads to the separate entrance of your cozy abode.

Inside, enjoy filtered water, coffee, and tea for your convenience. Store snacks in the mini refrigerator. The room has a ceiling fan, and an extra portable fan is available, though nights are generally cool. Keep a jacket handy for slightly chilly mornings and evenings.

Your room, with a separate entrance, spacious patio, and outdoor space, invites you to embrace nature's soothing sounds. Chirping birds, coquis, and occasional geckos add to the natural ambiance. Despite our diligent cleaning, harmless wonders like insects or lizards may make occasional appearances. We are lucky to be in a microclimate where there are almost no mosquitos in spite of our proximity to nature and trees.

Meet Michu, our friendly cat, a longtime resident who's curious yet polite. She may explore your room if the door is open; a simple request will see her on her way.

For longer stays, laundry is available on demand. Just let us know, and we'll pick up and return your laundry the same day.
