Great pool and it's right by the ocean and right next to an amazing disc golf course called Playa Lucia. Make sure you say hi to the owner, this is a family place and the owner is constantly working. - "This quaint and out of the way hotel was very clean and quiet. While the decor was a bit austere and dated, the cleanliness and privacy was awesome. Well kept inside and out. The beach was nice and I had it to myself. Water is calm on that side of PR so I tried out my first snorkel. Beds were comfortable. They put a stereo outside and turned on music in the morning: I was dreading loud music but instead it was meditative music at the right volume. The free and great (customized) breakfast was an unexpected bonus. "

For your comfort and peace of mind, the home is equipped with backup inverter generators in case of a power outage as well as backup water supply.

For your safety, always supervise the gas stove/oven when in use and ensure the extractor is on for ventilation. Use the ignition button before turning on the gas. Contact me if you need help turning on the gas stove/oven.

Children must be monitored at all times especially near the pool and in the kitchen.

- "We chose this home although a good 50 minutes away from our wedding venue in San Juan as the dual villa was a great caveat to keep the wedding party separate when needed. Not to mention , the 4 bathrooms was perfect for accommodating our guest for wedding preparation. Our host was amazing !! Jorge was willing to allow my decoration packages arrive early with personal pickup . The property was new to VRBO with no reviews so when I appeared skeptical , Jorge personally visited the dwelling making me a personal video which provided all the reassurance. The property was recently update with modern fixtures. Three of the bedrooms open poolside from both villas which became a perfect meeting place for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Everything we need was on site . Oh and I cannot forget the Coquito left in each villa upon arrival . Let me tell you i am still looking for this drink to this very day . It was the best cream liqueur I ever tasted my entire life. have already attempted to rebook this place as this is now our second home. We love it here!!!!"

- "This home truly exceeded our expectations. Via large glass moving wall, the main living area and kitchen are wide open to a comfortable patio with the most amazing view. This feature really made the home feel very roomy and open despite being there with a large family.The private pool was just icing on the cake. The view of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the tropical landscape surrounding the property made this an unforgettable vacation. I could have spent every moment here if not for all the great things to do nearby. The home is very well equipped, even for all seven of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. A stop at the grocery store and we were set for the trip. That is except for those meals we enjoyed at several of the local restaurants. Linens, bathroom necessities, beach chairs and toys. It’s all provided. There were even board games, and a video library that we never actually found time to enjoy. To many other things to do. I had read several comments in reviews about there only being A/C in the bedrooms. I can tell you from our experience, this was not an issue at all. The units cool the room’s extremely well, and the combination of several ceiling fans, the open window wall and the ocean breeze; made the common area very comfortable. The gated access was easy to use and the community property well maintained. I really have only good things to say about this property. Way too many to list. "

- "The house was as described, clean, beautiful views, and steps from the beach. There are games, DVDs, floats for the pool, beach umbrellas/chairs, and coolers, which was great. My husband and I stayed 10 days and throughout that time our friends were able to stagger their visits. The last week there were 8 adults and 2 children, we had plenty of space for sleeping and handing out. We had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth and her spouse, who are so nice and friendly. I loved that Elizabeth’s parents lived next door, they were extremely nice and helpful!! You will need a car to get to the local grocery store (Ralphs) or nearby restaurants. This is a great place to stay when you want to feel like you are at a retreat where you get to enjoy the views of both the ocean and the forest. I would recommend this home and I will stay there again. Thank you again Elizabeth!!"

There are plenty of good local places to eat within a 10 minute drive. Emma was super responsive throughout the process. It is our dream to return in the future."

Our ocean oasis is a large two villa building (one ground level and one second floor) 3268 SF six bedroom and four bath room ground level Spanish style villa on the Eastern shore of Puerto Rico facing the Caribbean Sea. Our beach villa comfortably sleeps fifteen all in beds - beds consist of two king bed masters, two queen beds, three full beds, one twin bed, two queen aero beds.

The 1st floor 2nd bedroom has full size bed (sleeps 2). The bed faces a large window looking out to the infinity pool and Caribbean Sea.

The 1st floor 3rd bedroom has a Mahogany hand carved queen size poster bed and flat screen smart TV.

The 2nd floor master 4th bedroom has a king size bed (sleeps 2) with private full bath. There is also a den/office area with a desk with a day bed (sleeps 1). There is a large Armoire with flat screen TV with cable and plenty of storage. The room also boasts French doors which open out to the wrap around balcony overlooking the infinity pool and Caribbean Sea.

The 2nd floor 5th bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full size bed (sleeps 4), with a TV.

Then 2nd floor 6th bedroom has full sized bed (sleeps 2) and an armoire with smart TV.

The 2nd floor also boasts a large wrap around balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea with amazing views day and night (star-gazing). Take in the sea breeze while you relax in the over-sized balcony chairs.

Both levels have a laundry room with washer and dryer, shelving with plenty of storage and an iron with ironing board.

Exterior surveillance at all entry doors, sides of buildings, yard and pool. This is for your safety as well as ours. No footage is stored long term.

The kitchen and bathroom sinks have room temperature water only (80+/- degrees). Showers have hot water.

You may hear cars playing loud music as they drive by or music from the corner bar. You may hear neighborhood dogs barking.

Vista Montemar is a comfortable two story house overlooking the Caribbean Sea in a serene and secure gated community. Two spacious L-shaped verandas and a rooftop terrace afford panoramic views and the best in outdoor living. Ceiling fans throughout the house and verandas plus a/c units in bedrooms and kitchen add to the comfort provided by the ocean breezes. Bask in the gorgeous tropical flora and be lulled to sleep by the sounds of coquís (Puerto Rican tree frogs) and island birds. In the quiet of the early morning or late evening, you can even hear the surf!

The kitchen comes fully equipped, the house is tastefully furnished, and has a separate, indoor laundry room.

Each of the three bedrooms has its own door leading to the second floor balcony, and window shades to block the early morning sun, if desired. The centrally located upstairs full bathroom is shared by all three bedrooms. There is also another bathroom on the first floor, which features an attached outdoor shower, and a separate outdoor shower behind the house which is for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach. Ample outdoor seating is provided in both covered verandas, as well as two hammocks on the second story veranda. A spiral staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, where additional patio furniture creates a relaxing environment in which to enjoy a cool drink amid stunning panoramic views by day and a starry sky by night.

The property is beautifully landscaped with all manner of tropical flora, including flowering flamboyant trees and amapolas (the official flower). There is plenty of parking space within the gated property.

- "Beautiful property, amazing outdoor spaces, and a beautiful beach just a short walk away" - "Vista Montemar was the perfect home away from home for us on our trip to Puerto Rico! The community is gated and there is a gate in front of the house as well, so we all felt safe and comfortable at all times. The house was clean and Norma even let us check in early since we came in on a red eye flight from LAX. Norma was an excellent host, communicating with her was quick and seamless. She answered text messages quickly and gave us some fun suggestions of things to do on the island. The walk down the hill to the beach was great, Norma provided a key fob since the entry to the beach is gated. Beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas & other toys were provided. I planned other excursions as well, most of them ranged from a 30 to 45 minute drive from the house. We enjoyed this because it allowed us to get a sense of what living on the island is like since the house isn't in a heavy tourist area. We had fun singing songs on our drives too! We got groceries at the Walmart in Humaco for our stay, the Walmart was about a 15 minute drive from the house. It was on our routes to and from the house so it was easy to pop in and grab items on our way home as well. Overall, this is a great choice if you are planning a trip to Puerto Rico. The location puts you in a beautiful spot where the forest comes alive and night and you can wake up to the gorgeous blue Caribbean waters. Norma is an excellent host, if we come back to Puerto Rico we will defiantly be staying here again!!"

Casa Coralina is a modern beach house located in El Cocal Beach Club, a gatedcommunity in Yabucoa. It is the perfect space for large families or groups of friends. The Space
On the main level, Casa Coralina features a large amount of covered outdoor space to enjoy with a bar and a 10-person dining table. Nearby is the infinity pool with multiple chairs to sunbathe, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a day at the beach. Discover the luxurious master suite with a smart TV, a lounge area, and an attached full bathroom. Additionally, relax on the faux leather sectional in the cozy den while watching a movie on the smart TV or reading one of our carefully curated books. Off the den, is another attached full bathroom. Cook with convenience and enjoy the kitchenette, one of two kitchens at Casa Coralina, equipped with a fridge, a desk, and a stovetop.

Head upstairs to the covered balcony and soak in the view of El Cocal Beach. Have a seat on the large sectional couch and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Inside the upper level, is a large fully equipped kitchen with a kitchen table and all the necessities. Down the hallway off the kitchen, are three bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a washer/dryer.
Guest access
The guest will be given access to the gate when you enter the neighborhood and the gate when entering the driveway of Casa Coralina. The guest will also have access to the entire house and El Cocal Beach access.
Other things to note
Our property manager, Juan, lives only a few minutes away and can assist with emergencies or issues if they occur.

The pool does not have a cover and is close to the master bedroom and lounge area, therefore children must be supervised at all times when at the house.

If there is a power outage in the area, Casa Coralina has a solar system backup, which powers the lights, fridges, AC, the upstairs stove, and provides hot water in the downstairs master room shower. If there is a water outage in the area, Casa Coralina has a backup water tank that allows you to shower and wash dishes.

This property has two kitchens: a smaller kitchen on the main level and a larger kitchen on the upper level. The smaller kitchen on the lower level has a stove, and the oven is not functional. The kitchen upstairs has a stove and an oven.

- "Very good house to enjoy a vacation close to Yabucoa area." - "I visited Puerto Rico for 8 Days the first 4 days we stood at palm de mar a beautiful villa, which was a great stay! The other 4 days we decided to rent this house because it had a private pool and we were traveling with our teenage kids. Worst thing I did knowing this house had no reviews. I checked in Friday around 6:30 in the evening after a long day at the vieques. When we walked in the house it had a bad smell to it and the house was not probably cleaned nor were the beds was probably made and there was left over food in the refrigerator.There was hair on floor thru out the house. When I went out back to the pool area there was yellow mustard algae inside the pool. I called the owner who said the house was cleaned by her aunt and she assumed that someone may have been in the house with out her knowing. She had the video footage looked at by “police department” because she said she knew people there. When I spoke to her less than an hour later I was told no one was in house and her aunt did clean it up even though I sent her video and pic of what the place looked liked. The only thing I was told was I can refund your money, it was late in the evening and I had my kids with me there was no way I would find a place at the last min so I refused the refund hoping she would send someone out to clean right away but that was not the case. The whole situation was so weird because I have rented house for the past 6 years and never dealt with something like this. She sent her aunt over that evening to look around but nothing was resolved. I was told someone would come over to clean pool the next day which they never did. I messaged her several times after that and owner never responded. The day that we were leaving someone came over that morning to clean pool. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review. I will never rent a house with no reviews. The owner was Very unprofessional. Terrible experience!!"

At Villa Mojoneo you will have a multi-dimensional experience, with the opportunity to enjoy the lavish indoor and outdoor spaces the villa has to offer. THE MOJONEO EXPERIENCE: Located at the southeast of Puerto Rico, Yabucoa [Yah-boo-ko-ah) is historically known for contributing to Puerto Rico’s sugar industry, however, this city has a rich local culture, spectacular views of the ocean and mountainous scenery as well as known beaches in our visitors’ top list of places to visit during their stay. At approximately 1.5hr drive away from the Luis Muñoz Marín international Airport, you will find the breathtaking inland treasure of Villa Mojoneo. Villa Mojoneo is located inside a gated community called, “El Cocal Beach and Country Club” which has access to one of Yabucoa’s most popular coastal spots, “El Cocal Beach.” The meaning of popular in this instance does not translate to multitudes congregated in the beach as observed in the San Juan area, rather, a more secluded environment. At check-in, we will provide our guests with a key to access the beach from the gate, approximately 3-4 minutes walking distance from the villa, and on some occasions, you can even have most of the beach to yourself! El Cocal has a small rocky formation that creates a natural pool called, “La Pocita”, which is perfect for our younger visitors, adding another level of safety. There is another area of the beach, attractive to surfers, which has good waves to catch! Besides feeling safe, you will also experience the privacy of Villa Mojoneo’s spaces while you enjoy the freedom of nature. Our experienced and accommodating, super-host will take care of you from the moment you express your interest through the end of your stay. We hope you have a grandeur feeling, because we have made this space available for someone special, YOU! In addition to the multiple indoor and outdoor spaces that Villa Mojoneo has to offer, the gated community of El Cocal Country and Beach Club has a recreational area for kids and open areas to take your dog for a walk with the ocean breeze and that salty smell that reminds us we’re near the beach. The community also offers a trash disposal area, near the entry gate, where our guests should take the trash daily to avoid the Caribbean insects that take advantage of any opportunity to join our guests in their stay. To enjoy the area at its fullest, we recommend our guests to rent a vehicle as the Uber and Taxi service in the area is not robust enough to support the demand. In a 10-15min drive, you’ll find a variety of fast foods, bakeries and restaurants that will add the puertorrican taste to your stay [we have crafted a list of recommendations for reference, to send upon request]. Our guests will also have access to a pharmacy and supermarket in this short distance range. Nested on the hillside in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, relax in the heated infinity pool while savoring the breathtaking views of the ocean. Only a short drive to El Cocal Beach, known for its turquoise water, golden sand, and small rocky formation that creates a natural pool perfect for lounging. Bella Vista is the ideal retreat for couples or small families.
The Space
When walking in the main entrance, you will be greeted with an open living room and kitchen layout and large windows creating an abundance of natural light. Relax on the large sectional in the living room and watch a movie on our smart TV, or surf the internet with high-speed Starlink wifi. The modern kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for cooking and has a spacious fridge, dishwasher, and large island with plenty of countertop space and seating. Step out on the balcony and enjoy comfortable lounge chairs to have your morning coffee or a small table to have your meal while overlooking the stunning view of the ocean.

Head down the large staircase to the lower level, and you will find a large closet with a laundry sink for washing off your sandy shoes, and a washer and dryer. The lower level has the master bedroom with a luxurious king bed, desk, smart television, and a full master bathroom with plenty of shelving and closet space. In addition, the second bedroom has a full bed and twin bed, a large wardrobe, as well as its own full bathroom. Both bedrooms have access to the infinity pool, which creates the illusion that the water overflows off the hillside. Go for a late-night swim in the evening and appreciate the pool's light show of changing colors.
Guest Access
Guests can access all aspects of the property except for one closet that is locked for storage. Upon entering the property, you will have access to a gate that you can open and close if you choose. The driveway is steep, so we recommend turning around before exiting since we are located on a busy road. We do not recommend Bella Vista for young children or individuals that need supervision due to the large drop-offs surrounding the house and pool. We recommend you use caution when walking around our pool. In addition, power outages do sometimes occur in Puerto Rico since they are working on upgrading the grid. We currently do not have a generator, but we are working towards getting a solar backup battery in the near future.
Other Things to Note
Bella Vista is located only a few seconds' drive to a great local coffee and breakfast spot Cafe Don Mario. Downtown Yabucoa is about a 15-minute drive and we highly recommend stopping at Dulce & Sala'o by Chef Ye for cocktails, coffee, and a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For beachgoers, the Guayanés, Lucía, and El Cocal beaches are a short drive and less crowded than some of the famous spots on the west coast and near San Juan. The Punta Yeguas Nature Reserve, also called Doña Inés María Mendoza Nature Reserve, offers a diverse and picture-worthy landscape with meadows, sandstone cliffs, and three promontories of sedimentary rock that overlook the beach.

Located in the city center, this welcoming apartment lets you experience it all in Yabucoa. Jump into your car and make short work of the 15-minute drive to Palmas Del Mar Golf Club or the 24-minute drive to Palmas del Mar Beach (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).
