The hotel room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area and swim up bar was exceptional also. The only recommendation I would have is that the staff at Sugarfin trained a little better. The service we had at this restaurant definitely lacking. We had incredibly slow service, did not receive correct order, and because of a mixup of the bill, our server received a 40% tip. We definitely will plan to stay at this hotel for our annual trip again next year. "

Damaged by the last hurricanes the restoration in progress is amazing hats off to the owners for their courage and rebuilding this place" - "I came for a night and extended my stay. The owners are sweet and helpful. I checked in early and checked out late. They called and arranged for a taxi upon my departure. I booked the smallest room and it was much larger than I expected. The rainfall shower was a dream after being on a sailboat for a week. There is a small fridge in the room, water bottles, and an electric pot for heating water for coffee. There are also luxurious robes and fluffy towels. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner is new and efficient. I put the rooftop pool to good use and the views are amazing. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. Amazing shopping is right around the corner. I found a market within walking distance and plenty of restaurants. I walked to the hotel from the ferry and took a short taxi ride to the airport. I plan to return for a longer visit 😎"

Blue Vista Too is a comfortable Water Island apartment, that is on the ground floor of our island home, Blue Vista. It is centrally located on the island, and is within walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to Honeymoon Beach, the ferry dock, and Limestone Beach. Blue Vista Too is positioned on a hillside in a private wooded acre lot with its own private drive and a nice view overlooking Limestone Bay. It has recently been refurbished. It has a nicely furnished kitchen with newly updated appliances. It has 1 bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, and 1 full bath. It also has a large screen porch, and small den. The owners have sole access to the villa above, which is separate from Blue Vista Too and is never rented.

Blue Vista Too is on the Caribbean side of Water Island which has open exposure to the gentle trade wind breezes from the East. A large 12x24 screen porch with attached balcony deck provides a terrific staging area to enjoy the view, watch the cruise ships arrive & depart, check out the sail boats and the mega yachts, or simply relax and read a book.

If you're not relaxing on the porch, you have probably down at Honeymoon Beach, one of the top beaches in the Virgin Islands! Bring your bathing suits (we'll provide the beach chairs, towels, & snorkeling gear). Check out Dinghy's Beach Bar for adult beverages & meals, or bring along a picnic and your own beverages.

You might also enjoy walking down to Limestone Beach to do some serious shelling. The access trail is adjacent to our property line. In fact Blue Vista Too is so close to Limestone Beach that you will hear the waves lapping on the shore as you go to sleep in your comfy bed.

Water Island is the smallest of the US Virgin Islands, and is located adjacent to the main harbor of St Thomas. When you arrive at the airport, you'll take a 5 minute taxi ride to Crown Bay Marina to take the Water Island Ferry (5-10 minutes). We will meet you when you arrive at the ferry dock to escort you to your stay here. We will also give you a tour of Blue Vista Too and provide you with any info you may need (such as where to stock-up on your favorite food & beverages). Water Island activites you'll want to enjoy are regularly posted on Facebook under What’s going on Water Island.

It's also fun to take advantage of the regular ferry schedule to go shopping & sightseeing on St Thomas. Or for the more adventurous, charter a sailboat for the day, go on a fishing charter, or visit St John or the other Virgin Islands.

- "Blue Vista Too. My husband and I stayed for a week in February of 2024. Just like the pictures with a spectacular view overlooking the ocean right from the balcony and screened-in porch. The hosts were magnificent: providing us with a golf cart, swim and snorkel gear, beach gear, cooler and grill. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. Beautiful Honeymoon Beach is just a short ride away in the golf cart. Limestone Beach is down a short, hidden trail near the apartment. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing way to spend the week. Would love to return!"

- "This is definitely part of our top 5 family vacations in the past 20 years. My husband and I with our 3 young adult children, 21,19, 17(now 22,19,18 after our vacation) traveled to Water Island to take a step back from our busy lives and spend quality time together as a family. This is the perfect location to do just that. Tony was the best host!!! Doug, the resident manager, was very pleasant and attentive. He texted us to make sure our flight was on time and met us at the ferry. The transition and getting settled in the house was very smooth. He even shared details of life on the island and told us where to go to find whatever we needed. There were a few minor issues, but he rectified them immediately and the “act of God” we experienced - sargassum seaweed was out of his control. -Internet went out(Doug came right up to the house and reset the router and showed us how to restart it if we had any other issues with the internet) -Needed paper towels(Doug apologized for the inconvenience and brought them right away and even left an extra roll 😊) Something to consider: If you are afraid of bugs or small reptiles then you should probably consider staying in St Thomas at the Ritz Carlton or a tourist location. We saw plenty of tortoises and small lizards at the property and on the island. The only con: The ferry ride back and forth to Water Island can be costly if you are traveling with a large family. Overall great getaway with spectacular views. Hoping to return soon."

Vista Amalie offers photo worthy views of the Charlotte Amalie harbor from the master and second bedrooms, living room, pool deck, and the lanai. The master bedroom even has a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee in peace and tranquility. Sunsets of the harbor cannot be missed. The house is located entirely on one level. The common areas are open concept while the bedrooms offer separation and privacy. All bedrooms have private in-suite full bathrooms. Multiple sliding doors connect the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The house is fully air conditioned and supported with a whole house generator for when the power goes out.

We are a leisurely 15 minutes stroll or an easy 3 minutes drive away from the crystal clear Marriott Morning Star beach. We are a short drive to the island's other fine beaches like Megan's and Smith Bay. Load up your vehicle with the beach chairs, towels, and cooler we provide. For the more adventurous, Red Hook is only a short drive where you can catch the ferry to St John's or the BVI's.

The house comes stocked as you would WANT. As we want. This is our second home. Everything is here!!! If you don't see it listed ask us. It's probably there.

Some of us enjoyed the strenuous walk up narrow streets to the place, most used a car service." - "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Cora was a great host. Communication before and during our trip was awesome and we got a lot of good information about the villa, activities on the island and food. Cora does not live on St. Thomas but has various caretakers for the villa, pool and property. And they were always only a short phone call away and helped to make us feel at home. We were met at the airport to accompany us to the villa and toshow us around. There was a starter package of groceries in the fridge. The pool was cleaned frequently. The villa itself must have one of the best views over Charlotte Amaelie. We spend a lot of time sitting on the terrace and balcony to watch the cruise ships come and go and the water planes take off and land. Considering the climate in the Carribean the villa and pool were in good shape and had ample of space for our family of six. I would note that the pool isn’t heated which was a nice refresher during the day, but felt too cold after the sun was gone. Overall we had a great experience!"

Located at the end of Flamingo Point Road, surrounded on 3 sides by the Caribbean Sea, on ~1 acre of property. The home is well off the road, very private and no drive-by traffic. On Flamingo Point you will hear only the sounds of nature and the waves crashing against the rocks below. Our property offers a large grassy area and plenty of space to park/turn around - highly unique feature than other island properties - and lots of room to play outside. There is an outdoor shower on the lower level. Expansive views of the sunsets, St. Croix ~45 miles to the south, Vieques/Culebra/Puerto Rico to the west, and the lights of St. Thomas to the west and northwest.

Our home is a few minutes from the beautiful Honeymoon Beach, Fort Segarro, and Phillips Landing (the landing spot for guests, local residents and others who disembark from the ~8 minute ferry ride to/from St. Thomas and Water Island). Water Island is a walkable island however, guests will need to rent a golf cart (or two, depending on the number of people in your crew) for transportation to/from ferry landing, beach, house, and the 2 restaurants located on Water Island. Rachael's Golf Cart Rentals is located on Water Island. Recommend you reserve your golf cart transportation well in advance of your arrival.

Flamingo Point USVI will accommodate up to 8 persons in the main home. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have direct access to the porch via sliding glass doors. All bedrooms' windows and doors provide views of nature and sea. Each bedroom has king size bed, ceiling fans, linens (2 beach towels, 2 sets of bath/wash cloth/hand towels). King size pillows are hypoallergenic. Bed linens are a minimum 400 threadcount. In conjunction with the main home and for an additional charge, we can offer an additional private 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom and living area suite on the lower level with completely separate entrance that will accommodate 2 additional persons.

We love to cook so you will find our kitchen is loaded with tools and amenities to satisfy most every chef. High quality knives, Moccamaster by Technivorm coffemaker, a burr type coffee grinder, Keurig coffee maker, food processor, mix master, slow cooker, plenty of dinnerware, utensils and much more. Extra Large stainless steel refrigerator (French doors with water and ice dispenser on the front opens to spacious refrigeration and well lighted, a flex space designed to keep your beverages at just the right temperature) , and chest freezer. Gas grill on the deck where you will be grilling while looking out over the Caribbean Sea. Large dining room table inside as well as outside that can seat comfortably 8-10 people easily. All water is potable by flowing through a state of the art multiple filtering and Sanitron Ultra-violet system.

The great room (kitchen, dining and living area) is spacious with lots of comfortable seating. You'll find electronic entertainment that addresses the needs of the whole family: 65" High Definition TV, DISH satellite programming, Wifi Internet, and DVD player.

The house is sitting in a spectacular location with views for miles. The 4 bedrooms with king beds were all comfortable.
