Everything was immaculate and the views were picturesque!" - "Have you dreamed about a gorgeous view in a beautiful house on a hill? Well, your dream just came true. This property is beautiful. The decor and amenities are exactly what you see in the pictures. What you don’t see are all the little extras. The kitchen has everything you need to cook everything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner. The bbq works perfectly, gas tanks full. Don’t worry about bringing any games in case of a rainy day. This house has more than mine. If you forget something, it’s probably there. Tip: bring some ziplocks for any leftovers you have from a restaurant or to make sandwiches for the beach. There’s a big cooler to pack all you need. Load up the car with the provided beach gear( for 4). You will think you’ll never find the house, but someone will meet you to take the first time. It’s easier every time you come home. The hosts are amazing for communicating if you have any questions. There are some”friends on property(goats and a rather large Iguana). At the bottom of the hill turn right to some a great restaurants and a well supplied grocery store. They even have vegan and gluten free options. Johnny Lime has an great chef and some really good BBQ! Turn left to drop off your trash daily when you go adventure. Coral Bay is magnificent and easy. Cruz bay(where the ferry docks) has a bit more action if that’s what you’re looking for. - "Check-in was easy and property manger was very responsive and flexible with check-in. House is in great condition and well provisioned. Hard to beat the view. In a great location to the northshore beaches but long drive from Cruz Bay. No location on the island works for everything. Highly recommend. Would stay here again." - "The house was very spacious and had amazing views. The kitchen was fully equipped and very well stocked with handy pantry extras. The counters seemed like they weren’t super clean but I wiped them and it was fine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable with good mattresses, pillows and linens. Be aware there is only an outdoor staircase to the lower bedrooms so I was a little nervous with my kiddos downstairs but it was fine because they’re on the older end. I probably should’ve realized from the description but it didn’t really occur to me. The pool was a good size for the kids to play in and my husband and I to cool off and relax. And of course the views are incredible. Plenty of seating around the pool as well. We had good Wi-Fi and Mark was very helpful in meeting us at the base of the mountain and showing us around the house after guiding us up. If you’ve not been to St. John before the steep roads can be a little scary but you get used to it. The only part of our stay I wasn’t really satisfied with was that the washing machine is a front loader that had gotten mold on the gasket. It wasn’t a huge deal to me because we had enough swimsuits and clothes, so I didn’t bring it up to Mark, but if I was counting on doing laundry I would have. I did have other questions and he was helpful and responsive."

Well lit and camera monitored parking area with a dozen lighted stairs down to the front door and pool area. With multiple access points to pool the house is not suited to children under 13.
Fully furnished with bed linens, towels, maps of local interests and beach towels provided. Washer and dryer available (clothes line available if you like that sun-kissed fresh air smell to your towels - and we often find line drying faster than the dryer..). First Aid kit in downstairs bath.
There are 2 studio apartments with quite long term renters below that have separate entrances from the VRBO rented 2 bedroom apartment , the pool would only be used by the VRBO renters.

- "Listing is accurate. House is well equipped. Property manager (Alisha) very terrific/responsive. We too had some noise from banging storm shutters in the wind, but Alisha addressed that quickly. Location is great — close to the stores/restaurants in Coral Bay and the North Shore beaches. The road up the hill is rough in spots, but you’ll get used to it. Parking is pretty easy. We preferred to pull in from the uphill entry and depart from the downhill side. Note that this house has everything except AC. We were surprised by that when we arrived (reading is fundamental) but never came close to needing it. Great breezes. Kitchen is very well equipped. Includes an Instapot! We hope to return."

There is nothing like enjoying a candle lit dinner and glass of wine on the veranda overlooking the breathtaking views of the Caribbean. It certainly feels like you are suspended on a cloud! Utterly captivating and tranquil ambiance beyond compare!

- "The house was beautiful. Pictures didn’t do it justice. Yes the drive up is very bumpy, but our Jeeps made it up with no issue. The views and pool were fabulous. Unfortunately the hottub was still out of commission and would have been nice at night as the pool is too cold. We would definitely stay there again. Plenty of room to spread out, kitchen and amenities are great. We did have a strong storm one day that brought water in from the ceiling and the windows in the main hallway. There also seems to be some water damage in the 1st floor bedroom closet. Only other issue were some mice that left their evidence in the mornings. I don’t consider this an issue because you are literally within nature in this home. We saw tons of frogs, birds, unique bugs including a few tarantulas living inside the bromeliads outside. Enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of frogs and wind through the palms every night. The kitchen A/C was a MUST and I’m so happy we purchased it extra. It works VERY well. The solid wood windows and furnishings are astonishing. Overall just really really missing our time spent here and hope to visit again soon! We got ready for our wedding here that occurred on Peace Hill and I’m so happy we chose this home."

Drake's View is a four bedroom, 4.5 bath villa with a heated swimming pool, and hot tub that sleeps up to 8 people. Five tiled decks and a large tiled front porch provide ample outdoor lounging areas. One bedroom is in a separate cottage.

The traditional architecture of the house entrance with yellow stucco, red roof, and simple columns contrasts with a dramatic facade of glass along the east wall. No matter where you look in the house or cottage, you have a fantastic vista of Coral Bay, Drake's Passage, and the British Virgin Islands.

On a clear day, you can see the Baths at Virgin Gorda. Rainbows, mangrove cuckoos, kestrels and red tailed hawks are common sights. Drake's View has the ambiance of a home rather than a rental. The large great room is furnished with Indonesian, American antiques, and comfortable, plantation style furniture. Drake's View is centrally located, on Bordeaux Mtn the highest point on St. John. The roads leading to Drake's View are all paved. It is surrounded by lush local vegetation and a large, terraced tropical garden with lime, coconut and mango trees. It is a six minute drive to the Northshore Beaches; three minutes to the Reef Bay Trail; ten minutes to Coral Bay; and fifteen minutes the Cruz Bay. From the front door, you can hike the Bordeaux Mountain Trail to Lameshur Beach in one hour.

St. John has fabulous snorkeling, diving, and hiking. The snorkeling is among the best in the Caribbean. Since 2/3 of the island is National Park, many beaches have amenities but no developments mar the expanse of sand and palms. From St. John, it is easy to take day trips to visit other islands such as the popular yachting destinations of Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Peter, and Norman Islands.

The Park Service also offers snorkeling tours, hikes, birding tours, sails, archaeological digs, and lectures. Numerous park trails lead to stone ruins of old sugar mills and plantations, petroglyphs, and even waterfalls if rainfall is plentiful.

St. John is reached from St. Thomas via a twenty min. ferry ride.

Spectacular views out to Coral Bay and the East End. 5-15 min to Maho and North Beaches, about 15-20 min to Cruz Bay. Lovely, well stocked large modern kitchen with a huge great room for the group to hang out as well as a large terrace with dining, hot tub and pool. Beautiful breezes on the mountaintop and great sunrises. We did have two people with mobility issues post op, so be advised that there are steps down to the entrance, to one of the bedrooms and one of the bedrooms (the double) is accessed only by a spiral staircase. We sorted it all out, but just an fyi in case it matters. Dave, the manager, was great and very accessible. We used Sam and Jack’s Deli for catering and had three fantastic meals in-house. Windmill Bar isn’t far and is a must for the view and great live music. We had a perfect stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to return. Thx, Dave!!"

- "My family recently enjoyed a lovely abbreviated stay at Blue Palm during a visit to St. John for my husband’s 50th birthday. Due to airline errors, we missed our original connection in Miami and were stranded there during the first two nights of our reservation. Keleigh was in constant contact with me during that time and tried to help us find solutions to get us to St. John faster and change our car rental. Upon our late evening arrival, she went above any beyond to ensure my weary teens had dinner and groceries for the next day. When we finally met her at our new car rental location, all I could do was hug her and cry from gratitude! She saved our trip and my sanity in countless ways that week. The property is as clean and beautiful as it’s pictured, and the views of Coral Bay are amazing! It was unseasonably warm during our stay, so the efficient a/c units in the bedrooms were welcomed at bedtime! All of the appliances are new models and in good repair. Our iPhones also had excellent wifi reception. Be prepared to conserve energy and water while on island. This was our first trip to St. John, and the Caribbean for that matter, and we somehow didn’t get the memo about conservation. *facepalm* We should’ve assumed the need for conservation because we often vacation in the Rockies, and resource conservation is important there as well. This property felt like home during the mere four nights we were able to stay, and we would book this location again in a heartbeat."

We recommend booking this reservation well in advance if you’re booking a St John Jeep rental as they tend book up quickly both in season and out. Rentals from St Thomas are a great option too if you are willing to navigate taking the car ferry over to St John and back. It’s really not too difficult. Be sure to add a service package for St John when picking up so if you have any trouble they will handle getting you service on St John. :)

The interior is beautiful, just as the pictures show. We had everything we needed, and more: beach chairs, noodles, towels, kitchen equipment galore. The pool and poolside are the best! We spent so much time out there because of the amazing view of the bay, and the stars at night. There are so many other lovely details, like the plants, the shells in the shower and tiles, the wind chimes, and the tasteful furniture. We are a family of four, but the place can easily accommodate six people. The downstairs is it's own little flat with a kitchenette. Carolyn responded quickly to all my questions and was a great host. I would recommend this villa with no hesitation. We had a magical time there!"

Sail View is a wonderful retreat in St. John, offering a gorgeous view, A/C in the bedrooms and just a short drive to local restaurants and activities. The home is situated on the side of the hill, in a private area, away from other residences.

The outdoor area features three different patios, encouraging your group to socialize and relax outside as they enjoy the expansive view of Coral Bay harbor and Bordeaux Mountain.

Inside, the Primary Bedroom is located upstairs, connected to the living room and kitchen. This level also contains an half bath and laundry room.

The other two bedrooms are located downstairs (stairs on the outside of home). They are connected, but a door closes between them, offering privacy for both bedrooms. All three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms as well as A/C. The two lower bedrooms have mini fridges and coffee makers.

The kitchen contains a Vulcan stove and breakfast bar, creating the perfect setup for in home dining.An ice maker is also provided to keep your refreshments chilled.

In home entertainment includes a Smart TV, board games and books.

Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler are provided for your convenience.

Our on site team is happy to assist with recommendations on island and will take great care of you if you need anything while in residence. Please provide your e-mail upon booking so that we can send you our virtual guide of the island, restaurants and info about the residence. We will also need it to send you driving directions and information about how to get into the home on your arrival day.

Please note rates are based the amount of rooms that are booked/ how many guests you have. For example, if you have 2 couples in your party, then you will most likely only need two bedrooms. We will charge only for those two rooms and the others will be locked. Please let us know if you have any questions here.

- "This was a beautiful island home. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The location was close to Coral Bay and the quieter side of the island. Communication was great. I read other reviews that said the driveway was challenging, but the driveway and road to the property were in good shape and no more challenging than any other road on St. John." - "The property was beautiful. Private driveway leading up to the house.. Amenities were a plus. Great for adults because of the bedroom situation. We had full access to the entire house. There were two rooms at the bottom. Private entrance. Showers in each and a mini fridge. The main part of the house is an open floor plan with a great stove, fridge, washer, dryer and 1 room. Acces to balcony and view. Communication was great between Karen and I. Directions to the place was a little tricky, once you turned off of Route 10. One downside of the property is the turn from the bottom driveway. Its quite tricky to maneuver. The main road is paved.. Howeber, there is a small dip when turning onto the road. We got the hang of how to maneuver the turn after a day. The Bougainvillea room is unique in that the 2nd bedroom contains twin beds.

Once you pull your eyes away from the view, you'll appreciate the comfortable and stylish, fully air conditioned, open concept living,dining and kitchen spaces. On each side of the great room, you'll find a king sized bedroom. Both are equal in size, and both have the same floor to ceiling, wall to wall sliding doors found in the living area. Ceiling fan, AC and TV are all included with your amazingly comfortable bed and bedding.

Our one-of-a-kind mountain top putting green is just outside with the shared pool / spa patio beyond that on the same level.

The locals use the word limin’ as an expression for hanging out. The word is associated with sitting under a lime tree or having nothing more demanding to do than squeezing limes. In honor of this local vernacular, we painted our home lime green and named her Lime Time. We hope during your stay here, you embrace this laid back attitude – it’s Lime Time!

Lime Time is a West Indies style home with high open beamed ceilings and splashes of Caribbean colors on the inside to invite you to come limin’. Lime Time is a private two-bedroom, one bath cottage nestled just above Coral Bay with both water views and valley views. From the deck, you will enjoy cooling trade wind breezes, see spectacular sunrises over the water, a rainbow in the valley after a rain shower, the ruins of a windmill constructed in the 1700s, and very little light pollution for incredible stargazing. The kitchen and living space are open concept with tons of counter space making it feel spacious and allowing ample room to cook, eat, and relax. There is a table for 6 both inside and outside and a full kitchen in case you just want to grill out and lime out. On the back deck is a hot tub and outdoor shower – both private yet with a view! Lime Time is perfect for a romantic getaway, for two couples, or a family of 4.

To add to your comfort, the cottage has battery backup should the island loose power. You are a half a mile away from the heart of Coral Bay - Love City Market, Lime Out, Johnny Lime, Jolly Dog, etc. And just a mile away from the famous Skinny Legs and Rhumb Lines!

Rent a Jeep as some of the best beaches require high clearance and are not paved. About 1/3 mile of the road to Lime Time is unpaved.
