- "Cannot say enough about Someday Isle. We love the peaceful location of the Coral Bay side of St. John, with the amazing views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel & surrounding BVIs. I spent every morning with a cup of coffee and binoculars; seeing across to Tortola, and over to Norman Island. For the four of us, there was more than enough space. The cottage is a perfect escape for those in your travel group that wish to have a little more independence / privacy. My boys (11 & 9) took full advantage of the refreshing pool that overlooks the bay & beyond. The home has all the gear you need for a trip to the beach (chairs, coolers, noodles). Pam was very gracious and quickly offered suggestions for great dining options in the area. One thing to note is that if you're looking to find a place to eat, don't rely on Google for hours of operation. You're better off just driving by and seeing if it's open or not. - "Enjoyed our stay at In Harmony Retreat. Has all the basics and essentials needed. A/C works great in the bedroom, which is all I care about, not needed in main areas, not there during the day anyway, plus when we were, there was a good breeze that kept it cool enough. Plus the dipping pool was great for cooling off. The view is the best thing about the rental, absolutely amazing. Location is good as well, close to a restaurant and two stores for groceries and booze. Also the best beaches are pretty close by. But it’s far enough away from Cruz bay that it’s pretty quiet and laid back. Paul the caretaker is a great help with anything you need or questions you might have. Sebastian the cat was cool too! Lol. So overall everything was great, really have nothing negative to say about our stay. Will be back next year."

- "Check-in was easy and property manger was very responsive and flexible with check-in. House is in great condition and well provisioned. Hard to beat the view. In a great location to the northshore beaches but long drive from Cruz Bay. No location on the island works for everything. Highly recommend. Would stay here again." - "The house was very spacious and had amazing views. The kitchen was fully equipped and very well stocked with handy pantry extras. The counters seemed like they weren’t super clean but I wiped them and it was fine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable with good mattresses, pillows and linens. Be aware there is only an outdoor staircase to the lower bedrooms so I was a little nervous with my kiddos downstairs but it was fine because they’re on the older end. I probably should’ve realized from the description but it didn’t really occur to me. The pool was a good size for the kids to play in and my husband and I to cool off and relax. And of course the views are incredible. Plenty of seating around the pool as well. We had good Wi-Fi and Mark was very helpful in meeting us at the base of the mountain and showing us around the house after guiding us up. If you’ve not been to St. John before the steep roads can be a little scary but you get used to it. The only part of our stay I wasn’t really satisfied with was that the washing machine is a front loader that had gotten mold on the gasket. It wasn’t a huge deal to me because we had enough swimsuits and clothes, so I didn’t bring it up to Mark, but if I was counting on doing laundry I would have. I did have other questions and he was helpful and responsive."

- "It's our second time around so no needs to say much. The house now has solar power and water pump. A little hitcup with ice dispenser frozen but Joy took great care of us. There was sands on the sofar so we shook it off outside, no biggie but that's why there are a 4 for cleanliness. No laundry detergent either so we made do with hand soap 😁. Villa Agel is located in St Quacco Zimmerman on the outskirts of Coral Bay and 9 mountainous miles from Cruz Bay, close to one of the most popular restaurants for local food and entertainment - Miss Lucy's. Villa Agel is a short drive to the heart of Coral Bay with many restaurant options such as Johnny Lime, Sharky's, Pizza in Paradise, Rhum Lines, and the famous Skinny Legs where you can get a cheeseburger in paradise. You are a 15 minute drive to Maho & Francis (swim with sea turtles!), part of the North shore beaches, 20 minutes to Hansen in the East End, and a 5 minute drive to Salt Pond, one of the best snorkeling spots on the island and the trail head for Ram Head hike.

Coral Bay is St. John’s “other” community. It is a colorful, laid back and friendly small town. The name Coral Bay also refers to the neighborhood that surrounds St. John’s largest bay (Coral Bay).

Its location is perfect - a three minute walk to Coco Lobo shopping, Aqua Bistro restaurant and Dolphin Market. Twelve minutes walk (three minute drive) takes you to Skinny Legs restaurants and shopping. Overall, if you’re a devotee of Coral Bay (and many of our guests are) this is an excellent location, a lovely home, and a very good price.

Bay House was completed in 2000 and is similar in design to the popular villa One Particular Harbor, with both homes having been built by the same designer/builder. From the parking area of this 2-level home you ascend stone stairs to the upper level, which houses the kitchen, dining and living rooms and half bath. Screened sliding glass doors provide picturesque views from anywhere on the top floor. Interior stairs take you down to the two equal sized, air-conditioned bedrooms and the bedroom deck on the lower level.

The 20 x 10 foot pool and the sun deck are located at mid level on the southeast side of the house and enjoy sun from morning to mid afternoon, plus lovely harbor views and cooling breezes.

LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN. The living room is furnished with comfortable furniture for four and is equipped with a Smart TV..

Bay House offers a choice of interior or exterior dining. The inside dining table seats 4, while both upper and lower decks offer dining for 4 with scenic harbor views. There is a gas grill, cooler and beach chairs available for guests.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a stainless steel four-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, dinnerware and a telephone. A washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, are also included.

BEDROOMS. The bedrooms are equal in size, one with a king bed and the other with 2 twin beds that convert to a king. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and have tiled baths with showers. Each bedroom has screened sliding glass doors that open on to the lower deck offering cooling trade winds and harbor views.

LOCATION. To get to the Bay House you drive from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay (Coral Bay - Western hillside), and turn onto the scenic harbor road that runs along the west side of Coral Bay. Just after you pass the Aqua Bistro restaurant you make a short climb up the hill that overlooks Coral Bay Harbor and you’re home.

The delightful National Park beaches at Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay are a 10 minute drive, and it’s a very scenic 20-30 minute drive over Bordeaux Mountain into Cruz Bay, all on paved roads. For restaurants and bars in the Coral Bay area, you can walk to the Aqua Bisto, Sweet Plantains or Island Blues Restaurants and Caribbean inspired shops, or drive 2-10 minutes to 6 other restaurants, gas and groceries.

The space
Outside you can enjoy the cool sea breezes year round on the pool deck, which is furnished with chaises and chairs. There is a 42 foot pool to enjoy after a day at the beach. The beautiful north shore beaches (Maho Bay, Hawks Nest, Trunk Bay, etc.) are an easy 15 minute ride from the villa, as are the South Shore beaches (Salt Pond Bay) and the East End (Haulover, Round Bay).

Wake up each morning to stunning sunrises as you enjoy your coffee on either of two expansive balconies. There is nothing like enjoying a candle lit dinner and glass of wine on the veranda overlooking the breathtaking views of the Caribbean. It certainly feels like you are suspended on a cloud! Relax, enjoy, and unwind in your “home away from home”.

Inside, enjoy comfortable furnishings and cool terrazzo floors as you gather with family and friends in the living room and gourmet kitchen, which is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and all the tools you'll need to create memorable meals. The villa is just a short five-minute drive down the hill to Coral Bay with three grocery markets, several bars and restaurants, great shops, and access to water sports, such as charters and shuttles to the famous Lime Out floating taco bar. From there, explore South or East to the less populated beaches like Salt Pond and Hansen Bay.

The property is located on Sabbat Point on Coral Bay's south side and is perched on a rock cliff 70' above the ocean below. Built on one level for easy access, our island home directly faces the cooling trade winds. For the rare occasion when there are no breezes, the Pool House is completely air conditioned for your comfort and convenience. The estate road Is a flat, short drive to the camera monitored roadside parking area. With no direct neighbors and the main house on the property will not be occupied during your stay, you are sure to have complete privacy during your stay!

When you are ready to venture out, Miss Lucy's is about 1/4 mile from the Pool House so it is an easy walk for those who want to dine and drink ocean side. All the restaurants and bars in Coral Bay are located about a 3 mile drive from the property on the main road and Cruz Bay is about 25 minutes away. The closest beach and hiking is at Salt Pond and Ram Head that is just under a mile away and can be walked from the house for those looking for some extra exercise! The Lameshur beaches and trail head to Reef Bay are about 3 miles away. The beaches and snorkeling in all these areas is excellent and typically not as crowded.

The Pool House comes equipped with full size kitchen, gas grill, king sized bed, full bath and water views and breezes from every window. We have most amenities you will need for your stay including coolers, beach towels, beach chairs, linens, etc. (see full list under amenities). We have solar panels and 3 Tesla Powerwalls to keep things running if there are island wide power outages.

The north part of the house has a screen porch on the top floor- attached to the master bedroom- and overlooks the outdoor living room and pool area with views of the passing boats on the Sir Francis Drake channel and Tortola and Jost Van Dyke. The south side of the house also has a huge porch, as well as a garden with hammock, and views toward Coral Bay, the Caribbean sea and St. Croix.

I have lived here on and off for the past few years and have had a blast enjoying the house with my friends and family, but now it is time to share this special place with others. The other villa, Villa Celeste Vista, is a one-bedroom and is also available to rent. It can be found on VRBO under property #1137923. Please note that it's possible you will hear guests from the other villas in the neighborhood and throughout the Coral Bay valley, as it acts like an amphitheater. Also known to Coral Bay is how quiet it becomes after 10pm.
