THE SPACE:
The entrance to Coral Bayside is located down a private, exterior staircase with only 12 steps with a handrail and solar lights. Coral Bayside is located only 100 feet above Coral Bay and your wraparound deck commands incredible 220 degree views of dozens of boats anchored just below you. Your complimentary Welcome Basket includes Two-1 liter bottles of Le Bleu water, coffee, tea, sugar and Splenda, 2% milk or soy. We will provide you with coffee and tea throughout your stay. Please note that the water at Coral Bayside is collected from rainwater that is treated with a dual filtration system then ultra violet light for maximum purification. The studio has a whisper-quiet split air conditioner with remote. Or, for those who prefer a more natural experience, the room has 2 sliding glass doors with screens, 2 screened windows and a ceiling fan. It is furnished with a king size bed with a Deluxe Sealy Posturepedic mattress covered with a pillow soft mattress cover and super soft 500 count Pima cotton sheets and 4 deluxe soft king size down pillows. It also has a 5’ lighted slate and copper waterfall inside the studio that's on a timer so you can fall asleep listening to the gentle sounds of the water fall. For those who like to sleep late, your studio is equipped with light reducing mini blinds. Laundry wash, dry and fold service is available at $20 per load. For your dining pleasure, a wrought iron bistro table for 2 and cushioned chairs are provided. There is also a table and chairs stored in the closet for indoor dining. You will also find a clothes line with clothes pins and a free standing drying rack to hang your beach towels and swim suits to dry.

We provide a soft-sided shoulder cooler with re-usable frozen ice pack (located in the freezer of your mini fridge), flotation mat and 4 plush oversize beach towels. For those adventurers We provide FREE high-end snorkel gear kits. We also provide a large canvas beach bag to hold all your beach towels and gear.
ROOM SERVICE:
Coral Bayside is unique in that it is the only rental available on St. John where your host, Julie Van Pelt, the executive chef and owner of East West Catering (retired after 22 years in the high end villas of St. John), and offers a room service menu for guests of Coral Bayside when available. Once you've booked with us, we will email you the menu if you wish. Julie features delicious cuisine in the East West style featuring fresh local fish and local, organic produce. Julie is also committed to vegetarians & vegans as well as those who are gluten-free or have food allergies. Enjoy stars and moonlight on your private deck at Coral Bayside with dinner by St. John's premier chef delivered to your door freshly prepared and ready to eat.
TRANSPORTATION
We will arrange for a taxi to pick you up in Cruz Bay and bring you to the property and return you to the ferry dock at the end of your stay. - We provide you with a covered plastic trash bin. Please tie up your trash bags provided and place them in the covered bin making sure the lid is secure. We will dispose of your trash for you when you bring the full bin to the top of your stairs.
- Please hose off all beach and sandy gear at the top of your stairs. There is a hose provided at the top of your stairs for your use to wash your beach chairs, feet and any sandy gear.
- We provide 4 large plush beach towels. Do not take the white bath towels to the beach.
- We urge you to make use of the St. John guide books provided, but please do not take them out onto the beach or on the water with you.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing in toilet but toilet paper. No feminine hygiene products (condoms) or any other paper items or foreign objects. There is no municipal sewage systems here on St. John to flush into. Instead every home has a self contained sewage treatment system. These systems are eco friendly and very sensitive and do not tolerate anything but waste and toilet paper or they will malfunction and back up. Trust us, not something you ever want to experience, and will be very expensive.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing down the bathroom sink as well. Same system as above.

The studio was clean and stocked with all the necessary supplies, including water. Julie's banana bread was a delicious breakfast for us. The studio was perfectly located over Coral Bay, close to restaurants and grocery stores. The expansive deck right outside the studio doors was fantastic. Morning sunrise and evening breezes were perfect for relaxing. We rented one of their Jeeps, that Jack takes very good care of, and drove all over the island. They provided everything that we needed for the beach: chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkel gear, loungers. All that really made our stay easy and relaxing. The studio is air conditioned with an additional ceiling fan but for those who enjoy the Trade Winds there are two screened sliding glass doors that provide cool breezes most of the year. The king size bed has a Deluxe Seely Posturepedic mattress covered with a pillow soft mattress cover and deluxe, soft, 500 count Pima cotton sheets & 4 deluxe soft king size pillows. Vertical blinds on both glass doors allow you to watch the sunrise from your bed in complete privacy or close them completely & sleep in. A Dohm Elite White Noise machine, recommended by The National Sleep Foundation will guarantee a peaceful nights rest. The walk-in closet contains a full size dresser & plenty of hangars. BEACH AND HIKING GEAR:
St. John IS paradise for active vacationers. There were two sets of French doors that opened up from the living room kitchen area onto the balcony/porch. Behind that two sets of French doors that opened up from the bedroom/bedrooms with bathrooms (depending on how many you rented) into the living area. It makes for an open apartment with the cooling easterly breeze throughout. There is air conditioning for the bedrooms which we only used while we were sleeping. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean except the floors needed sweeping/cleaned. There was a broom available which we used. The kitchen was very well equipped. The shower had an extremely sensitive temperature control so be aware. We really appreciated the 2 beach chairs and small cooler for our beach picnics. The location in Coral Harbor is very convenient to the south coast beaches of Salt Pond, Great Lameshur and Little Lameshur plus Haulover Beach. Best snorkeling was at Salt Pond, Great Lameshur and Haulover. Also, if you catch the wind right it’s not far over to Waterlemon Cay and Leinster Bay for a combination hike/snorkel. Just down from the Annaberg Sugar Plantation ruins. We also really enjoyed the dramatic hike out to Ram Head from Salt Pond Beach. Recommend going early to avoid the heat or on an overcast windy day. There is no shade. The apartment is also close to 3 small grocery stores: Dolphin market, Loves market and Calabash Bay. The biggest store Starfish Market is in Cruz Bay. Restaurants also close by and all do take out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay on the “quiet side” of St. John. Owners also very nice folks and responsive to any questions you may have."

While the apartment was renovated after the two 5 categories Hurricanes that affected us on September 2017, the yard and some of the outside walls still need some painting, planting, and recovering the construction process. We now have a broader and easier driveway, a new staircase (although still a lot, around 40), and in the apartment: new flooring, new paint, new fixtures, appliances, and much more. Fortunately, we still have the breathtaking view loved by our guests as well. Are you looking for a peaceful, charming place to stay with a great view? Simplicity is the place for you. The apartment includes queen sized bed and a loft with a full mattress, a small kitchen, and a small bathroom. The Sliding glass doors in the bedroom/living room open to a deck where you can relax with views of turquoise waters, green hillsides, and the neighboring British Virgin Islands. Lounge on the sunny deck and gaze out at the view of the bay over morning coffee, barbeque and dine indoors or outdoors while enjoying the views and trade winds which keep the apartment breezy (There are ceiling fans and an extra floor fan also if needed), or kick back and rest after snorkeling and hiking at nearby VI National Park. If you are lucky enough to be here on the full moon, the silvery ocean is a sight you will not forget. Simplicity is located 10 minutes from white-sand beaches ideal for swimming or sunbathing with plenty of parking and hidden trails to explore, great restaurants, shopping, fishing, boating, and water sports. There are beaches, and a restaurant/bar within walking distance as well. With that said, simplicity is not a luxurious villa, it is a small rustic apartment targeted for the more down-to-earth traveler who wants to explore nature and simple living as there is no air-conditioning, laundry machine and my lively family lives upstairs. Coral Bay offers live music in the evenings at a variety of restaurants and bars where you can sip island drinks or feast. Many yoga and meditation classes are being provided within minutes of the property.
In addition to simplicity, the complex consists of the owner’s main house which is occupied by your host and her two lively sons.
The affordable pricing may let you stay longer, or treat yourself to a day sail or massage.

Easy access up a fully paved road just high enough to afford beautiful views, the Lower Suite offers a private parking space and your own entry via an exterior stairway.
Guests in our Lower Suite will have access to the entire lower level PLUS sole use of our beautiful salt water pool. The pool is located midway between the upper and lower levels of our home - we do put privacy shades in place to block our view.
The Lower Suite includes a living room with dining area, kitchenette with a conduction cooktop, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave and full refrigerator. The private bedroom features a queen sized bed with sliding doors to access the spacious and unique bathroom. The balcony offers an electric grill, teak table with seating for four and two teak lounge chairs perfect for morning coffee and a good book. The view extends from Coral Bay all the way to the British Virgin Islands.
Coral Bay is the quieter side of St. John and is only a short drive from the stunning North Shore beaches. We are also close to several amazing hiking trails.
Just down the road you will find a fully stocked grocery store, restaurants, bars and shops.
Due to our location in Coral Bay, we do require our guests to obtain a rental vehicle and do recommend four wheel drive.

It is really smartly designed and has virtually every amenity that could make your stay very comfortable. And it may be the cleanest unit we've stayed in ever! The screened in porch opens to the main living space making it feel open and airy. And if you open the bedroom windows the breeze throughout the unit is really nice. We only used the a/c at night and we were able to close the bedroom door to minimize usage as it is very expensive on the island. We stayed in unit 3 and the view of the water is great! You are within walking distance to grocery, shops and restaurants, if you are able to walk a fairly steep (but short!) hill on the way back. You need a car (or the bus) to get to any beaches. There is a bus stop very close to the unit at the bottom of the hill. Beach chairs and towels were provided, which is a big plus! There is no dishwasher, but everything to make hand washing easy. We'd stay here again without hesitation. James was easy to work with and the unit is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed Coral Bay so much more than Cruz Bay...nice and quite with less traffic and people. :)"

Stonegarden Cottage came through hurricanes Irma and Maria undamaged and the interior on the cottage is virtually the same as before the storms. We have repaired, restored or replaced mostly all exterior features, including solar panels, railings, fences, and our beautiful gardens and nature trails.
Back-up Power: The island's power company has been struggling since the hurricanes, and there are frequent island-wide outages, sometimes for several hours a day (the longest recent outage was 29 hours in August 2019). So, we installed a Tesla Powerwall back-up battery for our solar panels which means you will not even notice when the power goes out on island. There will be no noisy generator to spoil your peace and quiet. And the best thing is that you will not have to run around in the dark looking for flashlights, or refrain from using the water for doing dishes and showering, because you will have power to use the lights, water, fans, refrigeration, stove and oven, etc.

Enjoy the comfortable amenities of our newly renovated Lower Level, with its queen-sized bed, private bath with shower, dining table and chairs, reading chair and lamp, double bureau, hanging-clothes closet, as well as a dining deck with bistro-table and chairs, air-conditioning, grill and gardens with awesome harbor view and direct access to the trails of Guavaberry Woods.

One bedroom apartment with a queen size bed. A full kitchen that is open to the living area. Fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils needed to make a full dinner if you desire.
There is a futon in case you want to sleep extra people. or an air mattress if you prefer. A porch that runs the length of the apartment that has lounge chairs, a hammock, grill and table. From it you can look out over the mountains, valley and even a sugar mill ruin. Located five minutes from restaurants and shopping in Coral Bay, 15 minutes from lots of great beaches.

It all began with the amazing Emma and her crew at Windspree Vacations ... they were friendly, helpful, super responsive, and very clearly have this vacation rental thing nailed. The shining star, however, is A Love And Beyond. A new build, with an exceptional location and view, we were so impressed at every aspect of this rental. The location is outstanding. Perched high atop Seagrape Hill Road, there are only two places above, so the location is quite private and quiet, and the view is to die for. The approach is a bit sporty, in typical St. John fashion, but it's a quiet rd so not stressful. I think we only passed one car in the entire week we stayed there. The unit was super clean (a huge factor for us), laid out very well, high quality linens/towels/toiletries, the large shower situation is wonderful (with a window in the shower :), fully stocked kitchen with solid cutlery, nice pans, plenty of bowls/Tupperware, perfect assortment of plates/bowls/glassware, top notch appliances ... and exceeding our wildest expectations, a really nice gas grill with full propane tank.We made breakfast and dinner there each day, and prepped lunches for the beach. We had everything we needed ... which is unusual for our Vacation Rental experience. The most stunning aspect of A Love And Beyond is the view from the porch. We could have stayed there all day :)One of our best vacation rentals ever!!"

**You need to rent a car to access the studio! There are not regular taxis available to this area and public transportation is limited. We recommend that you rent a car as soon as you book the studio as car rentals on the island are limited!

Should you choose to rent a car in St. Thomas, please keep in mind that you will need to take the car barge from St. Thomas to St. John. To do so, you must park the vehicle on a car barge by reversing onto the tight barge.
**Trip insurance is highly recommended. We cannot offer refunds outside of our Airbnb policy for any reason.
**August through October are peak hurricane season months. If there is threat of a storm, we will board up the studio. If a named storm is heading our way, you are expected to vacate the property. We are not responsible for your accommodation after you vacate. We will not be able to refund your stay at that point. Again, we highly recommend purchasing trip insurance.
Located in secluded Coral Bay with a large private deck overlooking the valley, our rental has everything you need for your "Sweet Escape". Full kitchen. Grill. Comfortable Lounge Chairs. Hammock. Beach towels, chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear and beach toys for the kids. Cooler. Wifi. Washer and Dryer. With a beautifully air conditioned bedroom at the end of the day!
The space
"Sweet Escape" has a large porch equipped with a grill, lounge chairs, sitting area, and hammock. Set up for meals on the porch or inside. As you enter the front door, you walk into the kitchen. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the things you need to make and serve your delicious meals. The kitchen opens up to the living space. Here you'll find a couch, a futon, a small tv/dvd player, and a large selection dvds. Beyond the living area there is a small bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a queen size bed, air conditioner and wardrobe. A shared laundry room is located just outside the apartment entrance.
The beautiful deck lends itself to getting a private massage or a BBQ with the family. Please let us know if we can help you set up a message or give you some advice about where to find the best meat or veggies for grilling.
If you have more than 2 people staying, there is a futon that folds down in the main living space, as well as a comfortable queen size air mattress. You are welcome to use either or both. Just let us know what you prefer and we can get it ready for your arrival!

THE SPACE:
The entrance to Coral Bayside is located down a private, exterior staircase with only 12 steps with a handrail and solar lights. Coral Bayside is located only 100 feet above Coral Bay and your wraparound deck commands incredible 220 degree views of dozens of boats anchored just below you. Your complimentary Welcome Basket includes Two-1 liter bottles of Le Bleu water, coffee, tea, sugar/splenda and your choice of 2% or soy milk. You may also wish to purchase a loaf of Julie's homemade Signature mango-coconut or banana bread for your first breakfast and beyond. Please note that the water at Coral Bayside is collected from rainwater that is treated with a dual filtration system then ultra violet light for maximum purification. Unlike most rentals, our water is perfectly safe to drink. We also provide 2 yoga mats should you like to practice during your stay.

The studio has a whisper-quiet split air conditioner with remote. Or, for those who prefer a more natural experience, the room has 2 sliding glass doors with screens, 2 screened windows and a ceiling fan. It is furnished with a king size bed with a Deluxe Seely Posturpedic mattress covered with a pillow soft mattress cover and super soft 500 count Pima cotton sheets and 4 deluxe soft king size down pillows. It also has a 5’ lighted slate and copper waterfall inside the studio that's on a timer so you can fall asleep listening to the gentle sounds of the water fall. For those who like to sleep late, your studio is equipped with light reducing mini blinds. Laundry wash, dry and fold service is available at $20 per load. Your private wraparound porch is cool and breezy with a swing for 2 and furnished with large, luxuriously cushioned wicker lounge chairs with matching ottomans and decorative stone table custom-made on St. John with etched map of St. John. For your dining pleasure, a wrought iron bistro table for 2 and cushioned chairs are provided. There is also a table and chairs stowed in your walk in closet for indoor dining. You will also find a clothes line with clothes pins and a free standing drying rack to hang your beach towels and swim suits to dry.
BEACH/OUTDOOR GEAR:
We provide beach chairs, soft-sided shoulder cooler with re-usable frozen ice pack (located in the freezer of your mini fridge), flotation mat and 4 plush oversize beach towels. For those adventurers that like to hike we have a back pack. We provide FREE high-end snorkel gear kits! We also provide a large canvas beach bag to hold all your beach towels and gear.
ROOM SERVICE:
Coral Bayside is unique in that it is the only rental available on St. John where your host, Julie Van Pelt, the executive chef and owner of East West Catering (retired after 22 years cooking in the high end villas on St. John) offers a room service menu for guests of Coral Bayside when available. Once you've booked with us, the menu can be provided. Cuisine is in the East West style featuring fresh local fish and local, organic produce. Julie will also accommodate vegetarians & vegans as well as those who are gluten-free or have food allergies. Enjoy stars and moonlight on your private deck at Coral Bayside with dinner by St. John's premier caterer delivered to your door freshly prepared and ready to eat.

- Please conserve electricity! Electricity in the Virgin Islands is several times what it costs in the States. Please be mindful of electricity use: turn off all lights, fans, fountains and A/C when not in the studio. Your conservation allows us to offer you such reasonable rates.
- 2 large folding luggage racks are provided in your walk in closet. All luggage must be placed on these racks. Never on dresser, bed or floor.
- Please do not leave any food out in the open either on the deck or in the studio. Place all open, non-refrigerated items in the Ziplock bags and Tupperware provided and any refrigerated items in one of the two mini fridges.
-We provide a microwave and toaster oven in your kitchenette but we do not allow ANY open flame or electric electric cooking devices to be used inside the studio. You may use our full size grill on the upper level upon request.
- We provide you with a covered plastic trash bin. Please tie up your trash bags provided and place them in the covered bin making sure the lid is secure. We will dispose of your trash for you daily once you bring the full bin to the top of your stairs. We provide a recycling bin for plastics and aluminum cans. Glass, cardboard and paper are not yet recyclable.
- Please hose off all beach and sandy gear at the top of your stairs. Sand is a very precious natural resource and should be left on the beach. There is a hose provided at the top of your stairs for your use to wash your beach chairs, feet and any sandy gear. Please hang up your beach towels and swimwear on the clothes line down stairs or drying rack provided.
- We provide 4 large plush beach towels. Do not take the white bath towels to the beach.
- We urge you to make use of the St. John guide books provided, but please do not take them out onto the beach or on the water with you.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing in toilet but toilet paper. No feminine hygiene products (condoms) or any other paper items or foreign objects. There is no municipal sewage systems here on St. John to flush into. Instead every home has a self contained sewage treatment system. These systems are eco friendly and very sensitive and do not tolerate anything but waste and toilet paper or they will malfunction and back up. Trust us, not something you ever want to experience, and is very expensive to fix.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing down the bathroom sink as well. Same system as above.

You will have exclusive and private access to your luxury studio apartment via an outside lit stairway onto your private outside wrap around deck. Your studio apartment is located on it's own private downstairs level with no neighbors on either side for your total privacy. Your hosts live on the upper level and will completely respect your privacy and will only interact with you as and when you request.

CELL SERVICE:
Please note that Coral Bayside has cell service except VERIZON users. If VERIZON is your cell phone carrier PLEASE NOTE, that in the Virgin Islands you will ALWAYS be on INTERNATIONAL ROAMING RATES, which can add up to HUNDREDS of $$$ during your visit. Our advise is to contact VERIZON and request the unlock codes for your phones. You will need these codes in order to unlock your phone to accept a local pre-paid SIM card which we have for rent at $10/week for the card ONLY. Once you install the local ATT SIM card in your unlocked phone you will have to purchase a pre-paid phone card at our local mini mart or you can purchase a pre-pay plan for unlimited talk and text for only $2.00/day.
Please contact your cell phone carrier prior to arrival to ensure service rates from St. John. AlSO NOTE: Cellular service is not available using ANY carrier in a number of areas on St. John, so check before you book your stay with anyone else or you may have to drive to find cell service.
ATM’S:
There is only 1 ATM located on this side of the island at Dolphin Market. And, not only does it not always work, but it has a $100.00 maximum limit per day. Located in Cruz Bay is an ATM at Banco Popular very near the passenger ferry. There are also 2 ATM’s located at The Market Place – First Bank & Starfish Market. Finally, there is 1 ATM located in Mongoose Junction shopping center. You may wish to pick up some cash before you head this way. Credit Cards are widely accepted, but not by many small, local vendors.

Paddle boards available for rental $100 a week. Close to Coral Bay restaurants and shops. North Shore beaches and hiking trails are only a short drive away. The space
This is a lower level apartment in a two unit home. One bedroom with queen size bed, 1 bath and fully equipped kitchen. Unit has its own driveway and private entrance. Mango suite has a private entrance and covered deck, and hot tub with down island views.
It is located in a converted duplex in a residential neighborhood less than a mile from Coral Bay restaurants and small grocery stores. It has a full kitchen, with dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. The suite is also supplied with a cooler, beach towels and beach chairs. Onsite, safe parking is also provided.
Clementine Loft is a fully air-conditioned efficiency studio apartment that can be rented alone, or together with 2 other studio apartments in the same building (Key Lime Loft and Pummelo loft) Conveniently located in the heart of Coral Bay, Clementine Loft is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Clementine Loft has a fully furnished kitchenette, with a range stove top, microwave, coffee pot, small fridge, and full size sink. Equipped with high speed WIFI.

Maintenance & operations: We are not responsible for mechanical failures of non-essential or luxury items, including, but not limited to television, wifi, satellite/cable service, Air Conditioning or any other appliance that fails to operate properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for minor disruptions of any utilities or appliance including, but not limited to, power outages, water outages, telephone service, etc. Please note that this home does have a generator in the event the power goes out.
Please report inoperative equipment right away and we will make every effort to have repairs done as quickly as possible during reasonable hours. Speed of service cannot be guaranteed due to our reliance on island services, repair and utility companies.
Cancellation policy: In the event you are forced to cancel, we will make every effort to re-book your villa for a 15% service charge. However, no deposits will be refunded unless a replacement rental is obtained. We may be able to reschedule your visit to another time slot in the future. Refund arrangements can largely depend on the amount of notice given to us of the cancellation, and on the time of year. For peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travelers' insurance. John's Folly Bay is a shallow sandy/rocky lagoon serving as a fish/shellfish hatchery/nursery. We have periodic influxes of various amounts of Sargassum seaweed which also brings in juvenile species. Very sporadically, some of these influxes create a mild odor by the water. We would be glad to credit any guest with a 10% OFF DISCOUNT if they experience this odor during the duration of their stay.
You might have many interesting questions to ask the owner, Ernest, who is a native Virgin Islander and a former OLYMPIC ATHLETE who competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France! Bobsledding, no less!

THE PROPERTY:
Coral Bayview sits 100' above Coral Harbor off a paved street and enjoys magnificent 220 degree views from your private deck, especially sunrise and moon rises. Coffee, tea and condiments will be provided at no charge throughout your stay. We also provide each guest with a 1 liter bottle of Le Bleu Water.And, stay safely hydrated right from the tap in the unit. The rainwater collected at Coral Bayview2 passes through three stages of sophisticated equipment. It is the cleanest, safest, purest water you will ever drink.We also include your choice of 2% or soy milk upon arrival. Guests may also purchase a loaf of Julie's Signature Mango-Coconut Bread or Banana Bread. SEE ROOM SERVICE BELOW.
BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms have super quiet split A/C units with an additional ceiling fan. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with a pillow soft mattress cover and deluxe, soft, 500 count Pima cotton sheets and 4 deluxe soft king size pillows. A dresser, two night stands and closet complete the room. White noise machines are in both bedrooms. A hotel style safe in one of the bedrooms keeps your Passports and other valuables secure.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bar soap are provided as are 4 sets of ultra-soft bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths.
LAUNDRY
A full size stacking washer and dryer (including laundry detergent and spot remover) are in the bathroom so you don't have to pack a lot of clothes.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is very large and has all that you need to prepare your own meals including oven, microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee(with filters), electric tea kettle, pots and pans, tupperware, ziplock baggies, and all the china and cutlery you would ever need.
MEDIA
The living room has a 55" flat screen TV, with Dish satellite TV with Netflix and all the Dish TV channels. WiFi/Internet is provided at no charge as are several multi-port charging stations. (guests must bring their own adapters and chargers).

The oversize wrap around deck is filled with seating to accommodate any mood. There is a teak table and chairs for outside dining, a hanging swing for morning coffee or reflection, and four captains chairs to gain a commanding view of Coral Bay and the Caribbean beyond. Just beyond the deck are oleander, palms, bougainvillea, agave, and tamarind.
BEACH AND HIKING GEAR
St. John IS paradise for active vacationers. We provide you with a cooler with ice packs, flotation mat, beach towels, and beach chairs that double as backpacks to get you to those private beaches only accessible to adventurous hikers. We also supply you with numerous books and maps that offer clear, easy instructions on every beach, hike, and landmark on the island. Masks, snorkels and fins are provided for FREE! And if you still have questions, our we will be happy to assist you.
ROOM SERVICE
Julie Van Pelt is an award winning Executive Chef and owner of East-West Catering (retired now after 22 years of cooking in the high end villas on St. John) and is one of your on-site hosts! When her schedule allows, she can create an unforgettable room service event that includes fresh fish and local organic produce. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dishes are also available with the same creative excellence. Once you are booked, she will email you the Room Service Menu if you wish.
TRANSPORTATION
Julie and Jack will arrange for a taxi to pick you up in Cruz Bay and bring you to the property and return you to the ferry dock at the end of your stay. Please see the picture gallery for their incredible vehicles for rent at the best prices on 2 islands, which are meticulously maintained by Jack, who is a master mechanic.
GUEST ACCESS
You will have exclusive and private access to the home via the front porch with no steps to negotiate. We, Jack & Julie. are the owners/on-site hosts, and live next door and are always available to assist you. We are Airbnb "Super Hosts" and he is also the best auto mechanic on the island which is a massive benefit if you lock your keys in your Jeep or get a flat tire. The unit offers complete privacy and we will only interact with you at your request.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
As 25 year residents, Julie & Jack, would be delighted to give you their recommendations to their favorite (and secret) beaches, snorkeling spots, hiking trails, restaurants, and shopping. Finally, we respect your privacy while at Coral Bayview, and hope to make your visit to St. John and your stay with us memorable. There is a guest book where you can read what previous guest have enjoyed the most about St. John with some don't miss recommendations. We encourage you to read the guest book on your arrival to get some ideas of what to do during your stay. Julie has also created an information binder that has restaurant menus, beaches, hiking, shopping and lots of activities such as day sail and power boat charters, fishing charters, kayaking, and scuba diving charters.

- SMOKERS AND VAPORS ARE NOT WELCOME TO BOOK AT CORAL BAYVIEW2. Please understand that this does not just mean that you can not smoke OR vape anywhere on the property, inside the unit or in our rental vehicle. If you are smokers or vapers, WE WILL CONTACT AIRBNB AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. Additionally DO NOT invite any guests to visit you while staying at Coral Bayview2 that are smokers or vapers. We are completely serious about this issue so please be honest with us and look elsewhere for accommodations if you are smokers or vapers. We are committed to keeping our Coral Bayview2 (IT HAS NEVER BEEN SMOKED/VAPED IN) pristine and a nicotine free space for those that enjoy a clean unpolluted environment.
NO ESSENTIAL OILS, TANNING, TINTING OR BRONZING CREAMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE UNIT.
NO BURNING OF INCENSE IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
INFANTS, TODDLERS AND CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 7 ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS UNIT.
- Check–In is 3:00 pm and Check-Out is 10:00 am. If early check–in and/or late check-out is requested & available, a fee may apply.
- Please plan to arrive in Coral Bay no later than 8:00 pm. If you are arriving after 8:00 pm, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
- Please help us conserve water! Everyone on St. John gets all of their water from rainfall collected from the roof so we ask that you be conservative with your water usage. Our water, unlike most other rentals, is treated by dual filtration and ultra violet light to kill any bacteria or micro organisms and is some of the purest water and perfectly safe to drink.
- Please conserve electricity! Electricity in the Virgin Islands is several times what it costs in the States. Please be mindful of electricity use: and turn off all lights, fans, fountains and A/C when not in use or when you leave. Your conservation allows us to offer you such reasonable rates.
-The Great Room is NOT airconditioned, and the bedroom A/C units are for the bedrooms only and not to be used to try and cool the whole unit as they are not designed for that purpose. Ceiling fans and floor fans are provided for the Great Room.
- 2 large folding luggage racks are provided in your walk in closet. All luggage must be placed on these racks. Never on dresser or bed.
- Do not leave any food out in the open either on the deck or inside. Place all open, non-refrigerated items in the Ziploc bags provided and any refrigerated items in the mini fridge.
-A fully functioning kitchen is provided for your cooking convenience, and you have a large shared grill on the outside deck.
- We provide you with a covered plastic trash bin on the entry porch. Please tie up your trash bags provided and place them in the bin making sure the lid is secure. We will dispose of your trash for you when you place it out on the outside entry area.
- Please hose off all beach and sandy gear in the driveway. Sand is a very precious natural resource and should be left on the beach. There is a hose provided off the entry porch for your use to wash your beach chairs, feet and any sandy gear. Please hang up your beach towels and swimwear on the clothes line provided.
- We provide 8 large plush beach towels. Do not take the white bath towels to the beach.
- We urge you to make use of the St. John guide books provided, but please do not take them out onto the beach or on the water with you.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing in toilet but toilet paper. No feminine hygiene products (condoms) or any other paper items or foreign objects.
- ABSOLUTELY nothing down the kitchen sink/dishwasher (includes food you have not eaten) and the bathroom sink as well,. Same system as above.
-While you will enjoy total privacy, your hosts also live in the building so we ask that you be considerate and keep the noise levels down. NO parties are allowed. If you want to get wild and loud please visit one of St. John's nightspots.
- A maximum of 6 quests are allowed on the property in addition to registered guests up to 10:00 pm.
- You have one designated parking space. If you have guests, no more than two additional vehicles are allowed on the property. One can park in back of your parking space and the other against the concrete wall not blocking the driveway entrance. No other vehicles are allowed on the property or parked on the street.

"Inner Beauty" is a tastefully appointed one bedroom apartment located in a two unit home. Conveniently located, you will be less than 5 minutes from Coral Bay and 15 minutes from the beautiful North Shore beaches. You can walk to most Coral Bay attractions, shops & restaurants and you'll be close to several National Park hiking trails. Accessible by paved roads, you'll have easy off-street parking with no steps or hills to maneuver, making this location perfect for anyone with mobility issues.
The space
The covered porches offer seating areas to enjoy the cooling tropical breezes and lush mountain views. Inside, you'll enjoy the comfortable, airy space with lots of fun artistic touches, a fully equipped modern kitchen, full bathroom with roomy tiled shower, air conditioned bedroom with queen-size bed and four pillows, living area with full-size futon, and a separate dining area. There is a Roku tv for streaming your favorite channels, a bluetooth soundbar to play music from your devices, and a DVD player and small video library.
Other features include a whole-house UV water filtration system which provides safe, clean drinking water, ice maker, 17' ceilings with five Hunter ceiling fans and wireless broadband internet access. A newly installed solar array with two Tesla Powerwalls, with additional generator backup, ensures no power outages.
No smoking inside the apartment but smoking is allowed outdoors on the porch or patio.
